2015 Brides (Part 4)

I just want to share that I'm a bit annoyed/disappointed over suppliers who do not make good their word about delivering on a certain date. I make it a point not to give the exact deadline that I need a particular item/service just to give room for delays and to ensure that the item gets delivered (Ayaw ko ma-ngarag too close to the real deadline. I'm working on a timeline as well.)

I'm a bit annoyed lang when both of you have agreed that this certain item/service will be delivered on this day yet not make good on your promise. I try to understand, give some leeway and make adjustments pero on the new deadline, wala pa rin. Maybe feeling nila na matagal pa naman kailangan. Ganoon ba talaga?  Just wanted to share that. I don't want to be a bridezilla. And I also don't want to put that much pressure on them baka sadyain not to deliver well. Hay.

hi caleeice, i totally understand how you feel. all we can really do sometimes is just to constantly follow-up with suppliers. hope you'll be able to sort it out soon.

^sis caleeice.. i know where you're coming from.. guess what, I am now in search for a new graphic artist dahil dedma narin my original graphic artist for my invites.  and we've only got less than 4 months to go. #pissed

after being super busy sa work, we're back to wedding preps again.

just wondering, when did you (or when do you plan to) sign up for gift registry?

^sis we signed up sa Rustans last year pero we were advised to do the gift selections at least mga 2-3 months before the wedding date.  But then we also have our honeymoon registry up and running na sa website since last year

By the way, Rustans will give you registry cards to include in the wedding invites for free.  We actually don't plan on including it sa invitations hehe but we'll see

^magaling sya sa magaling sis.. kaso ayoko naman ng dedma lang.. june na ang wedding ko, at wala pa akong mga imbitasyon..hahaha! Ok lang naman sakin..importante makaka hanap ako ng kapalit.

Hindi sis.. supposedly gift sakin ng cousin ko ang services ni moks. Kausapin ko na lang sya.

may mga nakita na ba kayo elderly men and women who wander the streets with no one to take care of them and depend on, and begging for food and money? a probable reason why some, if not all of them, have no food or shelter is because their children might have chosen to "leave and cleave"--to sever ties with the parents after marriage.

heartbreaking to see those kinds, pero heartbreaking din thinking na common sa mga Filipino parents ang hindi na napaghandaan ang retirement nila because their focus is on their children. hindi talaga educated most parents about it. lahat ng pera na kinita nila napunta sa mga anak, kase ang thinking nila is that their kids will be the one to take care of them when they grow old -- which in my opinion is unfair for the children. in a way it's like nag invest sila sa anak nila para may magsustento sa kanila eventually. unfair kase alam din naman nilang bubukod din ang mga anak nila at magkakaron ng sariling pamilya.

bata pa parents ko although i feel na eventually, ako din ang mag-aalaga sa kanila. i will of course take care of them when they're already unable to do so for themselves. but personally, kung ako ang tumanda ang magretire na i will not want that for myself.

anyway OT na hehe.

preps break muna kami until march, super busy sa trabaho. although nakasked na first engagement shoot namin ng april. okay na din ang mood board for that so excited na kami!

Ang nalungkot lang kami sa guestlist. 150 invited 120 nag confirm 94 lang dumating. Pero ok lang at least yung suppliers meal sa gabi nabalik samin yung budget kasi don na sila kumain total of 143 heads with suppliers na

Wow sis sad naman ang daming hindi nakapunta. Ako namana ng concern ko eh may nagko-confirm na agad kahit wala pang invitation haha and they're not even included sa initial guest list namin lol. The struggles of a probinsya wedding. Haha!

^^sis I got sweetscapes sa invitatikn layout promo pa ko ha pero super bait! In a week ok na layout ko unang padala palang nya sakin minor revisions na eh.

^nakita ko rin sweetscapes.mukhang ok din sila.may mga times lang na similar sila ng style ni moki na mabulaklak etc.pero ok din naman.
