Actually iniisip nga namin kung fund our honeymoon or fund our future house.. but the idea is, it's for people who are asking kung ano ang pwede nila maibigay. Parang gusto namin mag put up ng website/link, same concept nung sa 'fund our honeymoon' para if people ask kung ano gusto namin matanggap, we will direct them there. Hindi lang namin alam what our guests should 'fund'. Kasi instead of them bringing money on our wedding, they can just transfer online. safe pa. Iwas manggagantso on the wedding day hehe. yun nga lang i don't wanna appear tacky or nanghihingi ng pera. So kung tacky sya I will not go ahead with it. Ewan ko ba kay fiance bakit pumasok sa isip nya yun kahapon haha

sis ang tingin ko na unang dapat mo i-consider, may access ba sa internet yung guests mo? or oldies sila na hindi marunong mag-online?

hi fionaapple, just to add to what i said, i do understand those people who want to take care of their parents when they grow old because even my husband and i want to do that. in fact, we each send home a fixed amount every month to our parents even if they didn't ask us to because we want them to be comfortable. this will continue for as long as we can do it. however, i still believe in living our married lives separately from our parents :-)

I like the idea sis juwie! Yun nga lang for sure may mga oldies kaming guest na di gaanong nag-o-online. Haha! But overall helpful sya lalo na sa mga taong walang time makapunta ng mall to buy gifts, same to those na walang maisip na mai-gift.

Girls, what do you think about 'fund our honeymoon' ideas?

hi sis juwie, kami we have a honeymoon registry most of my friends are used to it na by now kase some of them are abroad.  When one of our barkada got married, we (as a group) sponsored one of the trips that's listed in their honeymoon registry -- Mykonos Greece Plus yung samin ni fiance, when we mentioned to relatives abroad that we have a honeymoon registry, na-relieve sila and much better option daw yun for them than thinking of what gifts to give.  Just make sure lang sis that there are a lot of options for them to choose from and wag lang puro high ticket items In our registry, we have items from $10 - $200. If they purchase any of the items on our site, we would stil receive it as cash (via Paypal) then kami na bahala to allocate those funds however we choose. Hope this helps

I initially planned to put something like that on our invitation din about monetary gifts but I reconsidered dahil meron kaming mga guests na we know na they are earning just enough for their everyday life and baka ma intimidate sila na pumunta dahil alam nila na wala silang maibibigay financially kaya tinanggal ko nalang.   We planned to visit our ninongs and ninangs to give the invites personally siguro sasabihin nalang namin sakanila directly hehe

We asked monetary gift on our wedding but we are fortunate na they gave us money and a gift na pwede namin i-open on our wedding day.

Thanks sa replies! Yun nga lang, hindi yun applicable sa oldies. more on sa friends namin ni H2B yun na ka age namin. So baka gumawa pa rin kami tapos pag may nag tanong sabihin namin either a.) Cash or b.) Go to this website etc. although, ayaw ko sya ilagay sa invite. Word of mouth na lang.

Done with our wedding! payo ko lang sa mismong araw i let go nyo lahat! Let your otd coord handle it. Super success ng wedding namin walang supplier na pasaway worth it lahat ng ginastos namin! Even the guests super happy sila! Regarding the gift, we put talaga sa invitation monetary gift since overseas kami ni fiance. May mga sumunod pero may mga nagbigay din ng gift. Ang ginawa namin since wala pa kami bahay hinati namin sa bahay ni hubby at bahay namin.

Basta chillax na kayo sa big day. Promise iba ang smile nyo non. Namimiss ko yung moment ng wedding namin! Pero yung wedding preps hindi mas nakakastress haha!

sis f878 hayy oo nga ganun din nag-offer din sa akin si Ms. MV ng tie up with her hubby. hayy gusto ko din yung blissful house for my p/v kaso binigyan lang kami hanggang bukas to reserve our date since our wedding day is peak season din. buti ka pa nareserve mo na sila sis.

Ang nalungkot lang kami sa guestlist. 150 invited 120 nag confirm 94 lang dumating. Pero ok lang at least yung suppliers meal sa gabi nabalik samin yung budget kasi don na sila kumain total of 143 heads with suppliers na

^weekend ako sis. na traffic pala kami papunta sa reception kaya naglakad kami on the way don. Mga 5 to 10 mins. Walk pero naman matraffic haha dami bumabati samin naka motor, nasa jeep mga tambay. Pero ang saya! Wala din nag eat and run samin
