^a friend ask me kung ok mag stay sa Somerset. I said no, na off ako sa breakfast kasi limited choice lang. 2 days din kami nag stay at nakakasawa breakfast di pa ganon ka ok.

^ Ka turn-off talaga breakfast selection nila. And I think lahat ng rooms nila may kasamang breakfast. If they have room lang (at cheaper rate syempre), mas ok siguro since pwede magluto and madami namang malapit na kainan at malls.

If you ever go to Bora, stay away from Boracay haven suites.  The customer service is bad, the rooms need renovation, we stayed in a room na may kalawang na.  It's not good for family vacations because it also attracts the wrong crowd.

Palagi ba may breakfast sa Somerset? Serviced Residence kasi sila, so I don't think expected and buffet nila to be at par sa mga hotel. Di ko pa na-try dito though. But bago lang sila, and I think nga pag ganyan mas okay wala breakfast na kasama kasi walking distance or few minutes away lang mga kainan and mall.

we stayed at midori hotel and casino in clark and enjoyed superbly the hotel and amenities. we booked the cheapest room which is 6,2k and availed of the free buffet breakfast for two. good for 2 adults and 2 kids ang room namin pero  free na  5 y/o daughter ko .ang ganda ng rooms kasi bago lang ito at super generous pa sa toiletries at hindi mahigpit sa room occupants. 3pm pa check in namin pero nag swimming na mga kids ko ng 12nn. pumayag ng early check in kasi walang gumamit ng room namin pero sa kasama namin naghintay pa sila ng 3pm kasi nililinis pa room nila. so 12nn nag swimming na mga kids kaya enjoy na enjoy sila. ang ganda din ng gym nila...overlooking the golf course ang sarap mag threadmill hehe. nagparebook na nga kami ulit kasi nag 20% off sila sa room kaya yung same room na kinuha namin 4,9k na lang all in.. nag enjoy kami talaga. super accomodating pa lahat ng staff at maraming choices ang buffet breakfast nila. sobrang busog pero after  we availed the free breakfast all of our other meals sa labas na malapit lang mcdo at sm clark. may kapampangan resto din kaya  dun kami nag lunch the following day.

Fairmont is a very nice hotel to stay in.  The breakfast buffet is good and the staffs are amazing.  The room is a good size also.

Yes sis, buffet breakfast is included on their rates.

^^ +1 for Fairmont.  Especially if you choose the gold room with lounge access.  It has 2 queen size beds and a very big bathroom perfect for honeymooners or a family of 4.

We stayed at B Hotel in QC, gusto ko siya. Love the interiors ng buong hotel; the room is pretty big + nice bathroom. Small pool, but okay na rin kasi solo namin during that time haha. Early check in kami 11am, tapos pwedeng iextend yung checkout till 2pm. The breakfast is so-so, hindi kasi ako mahilig sa Filipino breakfast, and predominantly yun ang choices sa buffet.

2. The LakeHOtel, Tagaytay

If ever, what other hotels na maganda but affordable in Tagaytay?

^ Stayed in Thunderbird siguro around 2012. Sobrang layoooo.. Their rooms were not well maintained and no breakfast buffet. No other activities aside from swimming (unless you play golf or casino).

If you are staying with kids, try Hotel Kimberly in Tagaytay.

Stayed at Okada Manila, ang spacious ng room.  Lahat ng rooms may jacuzzi. Nag stay kame sa room facing the fountain so kahit tulog si baby ko nakapanood kame ng fountain show.  The breakfast buffet is okay madami choices although mas bet ko pa din ang spread sa Manila Peninsula.  Madami pa ongoing construction sa Okada medyo scary at maalikabok pa yung parking.  Sadly hindi pa open yung pool nila saka fitness center.

^thank you sa feedback about Okada. gusto din namin magstay kahit one night kaya lang gusto namin sana bukas na yung pool. wait pa kami hehe.

Stayed at Seda Vertis North. Nice, fancy spacious lobby. Okay lang the rooms, nothing special. Malaki pool nila. Nice breakfast. Very nice staff.

^ 4 feet siguro. Kasi 5'1" ako, hindi naman lubog mukha ko hahaha May pang kids, but super maliit lang. Ang init init kasi nasa 3rd floor outdoor yung pool. Better to swim 5PM onwards.

We stayed overnight at Escala Tagaytay. I liked it! Big rooms and very big swimming pool. ang gusto ko sa pool kasi covered ng shade ng building ng hotel kaya hindi masyadong mainit kahit hapon ka magswim. The lobby is also nice. Yung breakfast madami din naman pagpipilian. I just don't like yung daanan papunta sa hotel kasi parang papasok sa subdivision medyo masikip kasi. At wala pang maayos na parking. Pero overall, I recommend it!

Sis re: Escala, kamusta yung daan papasok? Matarik ba?  Medyo na trauma kase ako a few months back nabitin pag akyat ng kotse namen sa Tagaytay din kaya kahit nagagandahan ako sa hotel na yan hindi ko magawa puntahan eh.  Di ko kaya figure out sa Google maps kung patag o pababa yung kalye.

^yung escala sis katabing katabi lang ng skyranch yung papasok papunta sa hotel. bago mag-skyranch may makikita ka na sign nakalagay escala tagaytay this way pero medyo maliit lang kaya hanapin mo na lang. ok din naman ang location kasi walking distance lang sa robinsons at skyranch. pati na din sa josephines. yes pataas ang daan papasok sa hotel pero hindi naman matarik. medyo masikip lang yung daan.
