It's harsh but I agree, maipilit at makiuso lang. It's just another couple photo/travel album and not a decent prenup at all. What's worse eh aspiring or amateur photographer pa yung kumuha na baka monopod or tripod lang, it's not a prenup it's just your travel album. Yes it should mirror how you really are as a couple but it should standout and be extra special. Most of the DIY prenups lang talaga are cringe worthy so if you're not willing to spend then just skip it. Cheap production = cheap photos. Really sick of couple branding their pictures as prenup or engagement shoot when clearly it's not.

we're scheduled to have our prenup on july 31 in rizal (east of manila) and all this rain is scaring me i don't know how accurate it is but i checked rizal's weather forecast for july and it says there'll be thunderstorms on july 31. h2b will be busy na starting 3rd week of august and i wanted sana to get the prenup out of the way before august para mas konti gagawin niya but i don't think the weather will be on our side. either i move the prenup indoors and re-do our 3 layouts to accommodate indoor themes or move to a later date, 2nd week of august at the latest. inputs sissies?

hi barbeecue, how about just incorporating the rainy day in your theme as being discussed above? 
indoor shoots can be really pretty, too - i love looking at photos of indoor shoots with their relaxed and cozy vibe.
another way is to pick a place with big floor to ceiling windows then you'll be able to bring the outside into the shoot in case you're going to move everything indoors.

^Great idea sis! Ive seen a rainy day theme prenup shoot and it was actually quite nice. They had pictures indoors, with raindrops on the window. I've even seen one with the couple actually wet and walking in the rain, but it was very nicely done and no see-through wet clothes involved!!

^barbeecue The weather is worrying me so much I can't even begin to plan our prenup photoshoot, hahaha! I think no rush rin ako since the weather now is already bad enough, rainy enough anyway na ang hirap magsched. We have 3 typhoons in a row now. I think like in the past years this will last for months. Like last year nga Nov maulan pa diba and it rained on my friend's wedding on Dec 23 and 24 nung pauwi na kami super lakas.

 We might do it very late, end Nov or early Dec if ever for better weather.

Thanks for the suggestions sis 120515 and Chili1113! I thought na rin before of incorporating the rain into the layout, na it would be beneficial pa for the shoot if it rained. Thanks for the photos sis, they were so pretty! I actually don't mind an indoor shoot. I think that reflects our personality more because h2b and I keep to ourselves a lot, we stay in often, watch movies on the couch and the like. H2b is introverted kasi kaya we enjoy that type of recreation. We travel sometimes but we stay in talaga a lot more than we go out.

All this rain is freaking me out sis. H2b will be super busy na come end of August - he's going back to school kasi so he'll have work and school. Ayoko na dumagdag pa sa things to do niya so I wanna get the prenup out of the way. The latest we can push back the prenup shoot is mid-August so I'm crossing all my fingers we get some sun man lang that week.

I showed the links sis Chili posted and the other one given by sis yannuh to the stylist and she'll re-do daw our layouts and make it more apt for an indoor location. I want some outdoor shots pa rin kahit konti kasi if all indoor baka too cramped ang labas?

Oh wow ang pricey pala   I was also curious sa overnight rates nila kasi hindi nakalagay sa website but sa tripadvisor, it's about 80 pounds more or less.. wow... a bit pricey pala...    thanks sis for the info

wow pretty steep ha.. their overnight rates akala ko nasa 5k lang. oh well. but the hotel is really nice. pero mahal. haha

you may search sa airbnb ang daming for rent na rustic houses na mas cheap. dun namin nakita yung Coco's Garden sa Paco. Check out Overlooking Tagaytay Chalet there too, nasa 4k yung overnight rent nya for 3-5 pax if i'm not mistaken. Same rate na yung sa photoshoot. That was our first choice for location kasi kaya naginquire na kami dun.

Although I may be getting a pro photographer to do my prenup photos, I disagree that DIY-ing it is such a bad/cheap idea. One of the main reason why people DIY is the feeling of self-satisfaction that comes from accomplishing it (cutting costs is a plus). So there shouldn't be anything wrong with going about it that way.  Its their big day anyway.

wow! that's pretty steep just for 8 hours! talk about milking this wedding trend for all it's worth! 

Although I may be getting a pro photographer to do my prenup photos, I disagree that DIY-ing it is such a bad/cheap idea. One of the main reason why people DIY is the feeling of self-satisfaction that comes from accomplishing it (cutting costs is a plus). So there shouldn't be anything wrong with going about it that way.  Its their big day anyway.

i agree with you! each couple should be free to express themselves however way they want - whether it's with a big styled prenup or just the 2 of them walking in the park. i really don't buy the whole "only a stylist can make your event beautiful" thing. a lot of weddings are styled just by the couple and their friends and these are just as beautiful and, dare i say, even more meaningful than professionally styled ones because you know each jar of home-made jam given away or each piece of decoration put up or even the dress worn by the bride was made with love and care. head over to offbeatbride.com or rusticweddingchic.com and you'll find all sorts of diy-ed engagement shoots and weddings that are awesome, too.
