Regarding kay Val, ganyan din ang napansin ko. Okay naman siya magmake-up pero hindi personalized. Parang hindi iniisip kung ano ang best for the bride's facial feature. As I've mentioned sa review ko, I had to ask him to redo my make up and hair. And just like you, hindi na ko nag 2nd look. Okay lang naman sa kin na walang 2nd look, pero wala ring retouch man lang before the reception. As in wala na siya sa venue after makuha payment from our OTD.

Anyway, heads up lang to sa future brides.

^ Wow. I was considering Val Villrin for HMUA and I never thought may ganun siya na attitude? How much sis yung package nyo sa kanya? Airbrush ba gamit nya? Hindi ba kasama sa package yung second look for the reception? I thought pag HMUA, they would at least tell you kung ano mas ok. Now I need to find other names to consider for HMUA.

i think if the artist really know what she's doing, natural na i-consider niya features ng clients. My hmua was Nini Marquez, before she did my makeup she asked me if my pegs ako and style ng gown ko. I showed her my peg and she told me na medyo adjust niya to suit my face para daw ma-accentuate ang good features ko:-) It is one of her attitudes that I like, she genuinely wants her clients to look and feel good and beautiful about themselves :-)

Hello Sis! 15k ang package namin sa kanya- bride, groom, MoH, mothers and fathers, Best Man. Kasama sa package dapat ang second look or retouch pero umalis na siya before the reception. So, wala tuloy akong retouch. Nanghiram pa ko ng facial powder sa OTD ko para makapagretouch. Airbrush gamit nya for the bride only.

We chose Val kase pasok sa budget and in fairness to him, hindi naman pangit ang kinalabasan ng mukha ko. But if you can afford other HMUAs who are more personalized sa approach, better consider them.

^Hindi ba parang lugi yun if dapat may second look tapos Val left na after the church?
Usually with other HMUAs mahal yung second look. I'm paying extra 5k ata for mine. If my HMUA does that to me paparefund ko sa kanya yung extra bayad para fair.

(+)OA yung pagod nila sa wedding namin. Literal na sila humigop ng stress namin, kesehodang di na sila kumain basta madeliver nila at mapaganda ang dream wedding namin. Sobrang onting briefing at endorsement lang ang nangyari pero sobrang bow ako sa kanila. Di ako magtataka kung after neto dumoble ang rate nila. Sobrang affordable pero sobrang inexceed nila yung expectations naming mag-asawa. Sobrang basang-basa sila sa ulan pero tuloy pa din sa pag assist sa mga guests magtransition sa venue. Kay Lowell ko din binigay lahat ng OTD payables ko (130k plus) pero 100% nagtiwala ako sa kanya. After the ceremony inendorse nya ulit sken yung papel na me sign na ng lahat ng suppliers na nakareceive ng payment. Pati yung coord na nag assist sken na si Myra, sobrang bait at alert lagi. Lahat ng need ko meron sya or makakakuha sya agad agad. Pati sina Chie and the rest of the team na nagbihis sken (na dapat gagawin ng bridehouse team) at nagtahi ng gown ko, wow talaga! If ever ikasal kami ulit ni hubby, sila ulit kukunin naming OTD coord;)

hi sis! belated congrats and best wishes! inaabangan ko nga review mo lalo kay 7ten5 events. ang galing naman dun sa hinigop nila ang stress niyo, atleast beauty ka sa wedding day mo at stress-free..thanks sis!

wow mura nga yung rate nya noh? dami na kasama sa 15k package. pero kahit na. may attitude ang lolo/a mo haha.

Kasama na yung second look sa 15k niya. At oo muka ngang nalugi kami kase hindi man lang ako niretouch. My OTD looked for him to have a retouch man lang pero di na siya makita. Ayoko nang mastress that day so I let it go na lang. Yun nga, ako na lang nagretouch sa sarili ko. Ang mali naman, binigay na sa kanya yung bayad before the ceremony started.

Si Val din  ang MUA ko, nag retouch naman sya sakin sa reception before the program starts. Yung remaining balance ko binigay ko na sa hotel paano kinuha na niya kasi. Ahahha.

Kasi ive seen their packages sa net, super complete and worry free na talaga..
Ive watched the SDEs ng PV na kasama sa package nila okay naman, and ive seen good feedbacks regarding sa hosting ni Mark Cuevas..
Ang fear ko lang is kung masarap yung food syempre yun ang next important sakin for my event, wala ako mabasa review eh, and also pala if talagang nadeliver yung buong content ng packages..

Thanks for the heads up sis sakura30. Tama si sis sparklingjewel, even I would ask them to refund of they wont give me retouched look espc of its included in the package. Yan mahirap minsan sa mga suppliers they take people for granted espc when they're already full paid. They should've realized na pinaghihirapan at pinagiipunan ng couple yung mga pinambabayad sa kanila.

Anyway, speaking of HMUA, I was considering Mayone Bakunawa, but she's migrating to the US na pala and wont be accepting bookings until July 2016. Sayang hindi pasok wedding date namin. Any other HMUA with the same caliber as hers? I really like Mayone's flawless work kasi. Any idea if Eds Go and Ten Franco for HMUA is okay? I'm trying to backread for reviews about Toni Aviles and Albert Kurniawan din kaso mukhang expensive sila masyado? Any thoughts?

sis naku, do extensive research muna, kase 1 of my colleagues na gusto makatipid sa wedding got their package, and it was not worth it.. Hassle-free as in free ang hassles hehe sori sis ha pero hirap daw sila contact tapos hindi maganda execution, umiyak siya after the wedding :-(

^^sis pinaydiaspora if mid-range madami choices, well hindi ako masyado fan ng style ni Ten, for me lang naman, masyadong generic, as in walang "wow", maganda ang makeup kung maganda ang subject (well, sarili ko lang observation toh, peace po sa clients)... Ok sa akin syempre si Nini, Eds at Ish. Si Toni Aviles ata hindi naman ganon ka-pricey :-)

^sakura30 Thanks for the heads up! Now i will make it a point to give my brother-in-law a kodigo about who to pay when, making sure theyre fully done with their service before i hand over the payment. This is a great tip to avoid suppliers who will take advantage that thye've been fully paid already and jeopardize the service.

Hi Sis LyrevA We did consider awesome events by mark but didn't push through kasi mas ginusto namin ng seperate suppliers. Their caterer when we inquired last June is Chef Shekinah, check ka na lang ng feedback sa food nila, i also have a copy of their menu which i can send to you or better yet inquire ka na din sa kanila. Read ka din ng ibang thread may mga nagfeedback sa kanila na ibang ka sis

^Shekinah is one of the worst caterers I've had the misfortune of having foodtasting with. Seriously. Wala kaming nakain na matino, even the desserts. Sayang kasi it seems they can style rustic weddings.
