condolence lil sis cabbagepatch.
together with lil sis TS, i also lost my mom last year June, 6 months before that dad passed away.
yes, it's very hard to lose the people dearest to our hearts. unlike you and sis TS who are so young losing your moms, i'm quite at that age as your mothers' probably, i'm a grandma myself. the reason i mentioned that is bec i know with younger parents like you two, with younger kids, how you'd prefer that your moms are still around to guide you, support you, spoil your kids. sabi nga, iba ang may nanay pa.
yes, as old as i am, i still have my episodes of getting teary-eyed and feeling extreme sadness. right now for you, it may feel like it's never gonna change, that sadness and longing will forever stay, but it will, in good time. focusing on your own family, your husband and your kids, will alleviate some of that sad feeling associated with the loss.
anyway, just take it one day at a time, if you feel like having a good cry, just do it. sometimes crying lets the burden out of our system. but also remember that if the degree of sadness and grief does not lessen over time, it's not good either, that's when you may need to seek an outside help, be it a grieving counselor or a clergy you trust.
i hope this helps.
take care.
