It's been a while..

Nextweek, 1st Death anniversary ni mama.
We will be in Ilocos para magpadasal and to visit her and my dad..

I still cry myself to sleep..
I've tried to make myself busy, not to even post on this topic pero ganun parin..

sa dami ng nangyaring positive sa career ko, how I wish na andito pa sila so we can celebrate together, na natulungan ko pa sila ni dad sa financial support since they both need medical attention..

How I wish I could turn back time para maspend ko yung majority ng oras ko with them, na sana di na lang ako lumayo during my college years, na sana sinunod ko na lang gusto nila, na sana  naging good daughter man lang ako.. Kung alam ko lang na ganito kabilis matatapos lahat, sana I've given them the best, hindi yung lagi silang taken for granted.

I really miss yung walang humpay na kwentuhan, joke time at tawanan.. corny pero pwede na rin..
mga safety tips and words of wisdom..

**
I miss you so much mom, dad..
Will visit you soon..

This will be my comeback post after hibernating for a year pero sad to say I also lost my mom last March 2015 2 weeks after her birthday. And sobrang biglaan din to the point na hindi ako makapaniwala up to this time na wala na talaga sya sa piling namin. Nagcomplain sya ng chest pain, after series of tests negative naman palabas na nga sya on the 3rd day pero before 12 midnight inatake sya and di na na-revive.Sobra di ko alam gagawin ko it's my first time to lost someone na sobrang mahal ko. She is a single mom pero never niya naparamdam samin na may kulang. I look up to her of being a mother because she gave everything to us napaka unconditional na love na di matatapatan ng kahit na anong materyal na bagay. Never niya ko pinabayaan palagi siya nandiyan for us.Hay, Ma I don't know why did you leave us so early, but I know in God's perfect time mahahanap ko yung purpose yung reason kung bakit. I love you and I miss you so much. :'( :'( :'(

Naiyak ako basahin mga post nyo mag sis. Same tayo lahat ng reaction. I lost my mom last year lang din. I saw her how she died, unti unti nawala yung hininga nya di na umabot yung ambulance pagdating patay na siya. She died because of blood cancer leukemia.

condolence lil sis cabbagepatch.
together with lil sis TS, i also lost my mom last year June, 6 months before that dad passed away.
yes, it's very hard to lose the people dearest to our hearts. unlike you and sis TS who are so young losing your moms, i'm quite at that age as your mothers' probably, i'm a grandma myself.  the reason i mentioned that is bec i know with younger parents like you two, with younger kids, how you'd prefer that your moms are still around to guide you, support you, spoil your kids.  sabi nga, iba ang may nanay pa.
yes, as old as i am,  i still have my episodes of getting teary-eyed and feeling extreme sadness.  right now for you, it may feel like it's never gonna change, that sadness and longing will forever stay, but it will, in good time.  focusing on your own family, your husband and your kids, will alleviate some of that sad feeling associated with the loss.
anyway,  just take it one day at a time,  if you feel like having a good cry, just do it.  sometimes crying lets the burden out of our system.   but also remember that if the degree of sadness and grief does not lessen over time, it's not good either, that's when you may need to seek an outside help, be it a grieving counselor or a clergy you trust.
i hope this helps.
take care.

Mga sis, Im sorry for your lost. Somehow, I know what you are going through, pero sa Dad ko naman. Its been more than 10 years but once in a while sinusumpong ako ng lungkot. I miss him so much! In my case, there was no regrets kasi I made sure my dad knows how much I loved him nuong buhay pa sya. I said I Love You to him a thousand times! Pati yung nasa wake nya I kept on saying "I Love You" many many times na para akong baliw na duon. Kasi pakiramdam ko yung words na I love you is not enough to express how much I love my dad.

When you lose a loved one, the first few months is the hardest... ang sakit sakit sa dibdib. Pero, eventually we get used to the pain and its not that painful anymore. It doesnt mean na we are not hurting anymore, its just we learned to cope with that hurt.

Ang isang bagay na nakatulong sa akin ng malaki to cope with my dad's lose is my belief sa Life after Death. I know my dad didnt die. He is not gone forever kasi yung body nya lang ang nawala but his spirit will live on. And he will always be with me, wala nang distance na pwedeng mag-seperate sa amin. So when Im sad, I just close my eyes and talk to my dad... and ussually that works for me, pero minsan I wish I can hug him again and hear his voice. Pero I cant...

Be strong mga Sis, that is what your mothers want you to be - ayaw nya kayo makikitang mahina at malungkot.

I was missing my mama then suddenly I saw this thread. I never knew na may mga taong nakakaramdam at nakakaintindi ng saket na nararamdaman ko sa pagkawala niya sa buhay ko.

I lost my mom March 11,2013, after more than 5years ng hemodialysis bumigay na din ang katawan niya and until now hindi pa din ako makamove on.
