i've forgotten and gotten out of my head that i need to exercise to be healthy --

and really, my motivation to run everyday is -- i have these pair of skinny pants that are a bit snug, but will look awesome with my new heels.

superficial, but it helps me get up in the morning.

then i bought a lot of expensive workout stuff, mats, new shoes, new clothes. now i have to use them because i already spent too much money for them to just go to waste.

also, i'm just like -- its a frickin' hour and a half (or two) a day. why don't i just do it?

if you keep doing it, it won't bother you as much and will just be a routine. hard for the first few days or weeks, but after a while, when you're seeing progress, you'll be like -- fuck yeah! lets see what another week will do to my body!

Super tamad ko din mag exercise. Last january I planned na mag work out to look my best on april kase may event ako pero until now ganon pa din weight ko. I give up na talaga. Dko alam san ako huhugot ng motivation pa.

1. I try to go to the gym immediately after work instead of going home so it's less likely for me to get lazy or distracted. I bring my gym bag with me.
2. I drink coffee before heading to the gym because I noticed that it gives me more energy. I love coffee! Pag nag coffee na ako, parang ready na yung brain and body ko for a workout.
3. I think about the good feeling I get after working out. I sleep well, eat healthier and tend to be more productive pag nag exercise.
4. Buy nice gym clothes and shoes.

I have more tips pa, I will get to it later.

i feel good after going to the gym. iniisip ko lang na i feel stronger and since i dont want to diet, eto lang katapat ng paglamon ko.  i only go to the gym once a week so kakatamad talaga lalo na un gym partner ko laging wala so mag-isa lang ako.iniisp ko lang yung mga food na kakainin ko :)

Gaganahan ako that day pero the next wala na eh. After mga ilang days of exercise back to lazy days na naman.

Oh well.

Tsaka siguro isipin nyo reasons bakit kayo tinatamad magwork out or magpapayat.

Ewan ko kung hanggang kelan fascination ko dito pero I'm always open naman to anything so kapag nabored ako dito, i'll try something else. Maybe yoga, or boxing or muay thai or swimming.

Although I'm not seeing any improvements yet, parang masarap sa feeling na kahit paano I'm doing something about it.

thats a really great attitude. :)

it doesn't happen in an instant nga naman kasi, and doing something is definitely better than just wishing and praying some magic pill is going to melt your troubles away.

i gained a lot of weight a few years back, and had a hard time shaking it off. this was AFTER i lost a lot of weight with diet pills, starvation and everyday workouts.

i wasn't able to keep it up because i was simply lazy. pills aren't going to help with laziness, and you can't keep taking those god awful pills forever. so yun. i gave up trying, and -- poof! weight gain like crazy.

people tried to "motivate" me. boyfriend tried to ask me to run and go to the gym with him, friends would invite me to do this and that, my best friend's mother even kept making fun and commenting on my weight claiming its what motivated my friend to lose weight (didnt help, and i hate her mom even more now)

was in denial of everything -- i told everyone that i could drop the weight if i wanted to, that i was eating relatively healthy (i wasn't), i was busy, and getting a gym membership is too much trouble. oh, and i'm like -- i'm going to start at the beginning of the next month. i had a reason and excuse for everything.

then, out of the blue, my sister asked me to go walk with her around the subdivision. we walked so far, and we were like -- we should do it again.

so we started walking/jogging the next day. when we got home, we were like -- well, we jogged today, lets not waste the workout. lets start eating healthy. so we did. that night we were like -- it wasn't so bad, lets do it again tomorrow! we just kept doing it.

it hurt for like a week or two, our house smelled like menthol ointments and i had blisters... but then the hurt just reminded me that i'm tired because i worked something out, which kind of felt good. it became an everyday routine and it really got a hell of a lot easier. i kept doing it because i just didn't want to waste what we've done... and i sometimes have my superficial reasons like i've mentioned before.

my start was just so random and i started really slow, but i'm glad i started somewhere. if my sister got me at the time where my mindset was "i'm too lazy, don't fucking bother me!", then i'd probably still be sitting around feeling bad about myself.

i never weighed myself, but i've always kept track of how far i run from my phone. i like seeing it go up everyday. i would keep telling myself "you're a better person today, and you can do exactly what you did yesterday... plus another .5km".

i get bored easily, so i downloaded a looooong playlist of 90's-00 music, because they're familiar and happy and so ridiculously cheesy. biglang tutugtog yung "Bring It All Back" ng S Club 7 habang tumatakbo ka, ewan ko kung di ka matuwa sa kabaduyan mo noon at makalimutan mong nakatakbo ka na pala ng 4 blocks.

i sit on my ass all the goddamn time in front of the computer, so i bought myself a yoga ball to sit on while i work. its cheap, Lazada has them for like P800, i think? its a start of a workout. after say, two weeks, i bet kaya mo na mag wall squats.

this morning, i couldn't workout because i have a leg injury, but my 4 year old niece walks in my room while i was playing music and she asked me to dance. i'm a real shitty dancer, but she kept doing these funny moves and was asking me to do it with her, so we just started jumping around and dancing weird. i was sweating bullets after 2 songs. bago ka maligo, turn off the aircon and fans and do that, if you still can't workout. 6-7 minutes is probably nothing from your time. every week, add another song. in a month or two, when you're sick of dancing, and realize "holy fuck, did i just lose weight?!", move onto Zumba or Pilates.

also, i admire celebrity bodies too, but i'm keeping mine "realistic", and it has always, always been Kim Kardashian... don't judge me.

@artificialstar Favorite ko yung flat white from Toby's Estate. Sometimes I get brewed coffee from McDo (I think McDo uses kapeng barako) :) Great fuel for a workout!

Mahilig kasi akong mag-beach, and as much as I want to say that I don't care what other people think of me, nakakaconscious din minsan na I look a little awkward in swimwear. Hindi ako mataba, but I'm very far from toned. Tsaka kasi there was a time na sexy ako (LOL), and I want to be that way again. Though my motivation to exercise lately is not only to look good, but also to improve my strength. Be kickass, if I can!
