MID range wedding gown designers

Re my gown designer, decided to not push through na with Haydee Garcia. I already cancelled my supposed meeting with her and she was understanding naman. I decided to go for Teena Sabrina Tan. For one, mas accessible si Teena sa akin and I feel like mas magiging at ease ako sa kanya in terms of paghingi ng updates regarding my gown and my entourage's. Although mas mura naman talaga si Haydee by around 15k, mas mahalaga kasi sa akin na may peace of mind ako. Haydee's ok naman kaso ive noticed na di sya consistent pag dating sa pag papaschedule. Tapos maliit din space nya although i saw sa IG na she's moving to a bigger location (which bothers me din kasi paano kung mas malayo? and naisip ko din that this may cause her to be busier or ngarag sa paglilipat).

In any case, Teena kasi is more prompt. Saka mas pulido for me yung gawa. I like her aesthetics and di rin ako magwoworry about having her directly communicate with my bridesmaids, moms and ninangs. So yun, sa kanya na ako. Hoping for the best na lang talaga. So far, so good. :-)

@pinaydiaspora acrylic or taiwan beads yun yung cheaper type ng beads.. After few uses or mahanginan lang nangingitim na. Much better yung Japanese Toho Beads others call it ceramic beads may kamahalan sabi ni Haydee pero lifetime yung kinang niya.. My couturier also use alabaster crystals (she used to call it acrylic pearls) to make the gown shinier.. Mas magkakaron ng texture or 3d effect yung detail ng gown

highly recommended ko si Mat Basilio he is base in Pampanga but as in super galing nya alam nya kong anong gown ang babagay sayo at yong gusto mo at sa service na gagawin nilang mag asawa para kang princess during wedding day mo at super bait nilang mag asawa di ka maiilang sa kanila at sa gown na papagawa mo hindi sya mukhang tinipid kya maganda ang outcome ng gown ko😊

Girls..need help who do you recommend for a gown with no beading, more on draping/pleating/ruching lang.  Seeing kasi most designers suggested here are good with beading.

^Meron kayang gumaya nyan, maybe even for less than 20K. But, as in kung gayang gaya, yun yung question and the quality of the materials maybe compromised. But if you're going to a reputable designer, they won't go and copy the same design, but they can tweak it and make it their own. Pangalan kasi nila ang nakataya, but as for 20K, it depends kung ano yung starting rate ng designer mo. Some designers would charge maybe 20k, pero baka walang accessories. Best of luck sis.

^^ Yes but don't expect it will be done by a designer using the same quality materials as shown in the photo or as you'd wish it to be. Madami magagaling na mananahi like sa divi or maybe even in your local area and they can do that with your chosen fabric pa for that price or even less kung magaling ka mag haggle ng rates. But if you would insist for a designer with a name or even an upcoming designer to do that..say, complete with accesories pa, chances are the materials wont be of the quality that you'd probably like.

sis try mo si Roxy Bagano. Parang recently ganyan type ng gown ginagawa nya. pero syempre di nya gagayahin yan mismo, parang inspiration lang. need mo lang istretch onti ang budget mo if keribels pa:)

Yes pwedeng gayahin yan for 20k. Medyo delikado lang is the quality of the lace that will be used. The lace in the picture is very delicate and Rosa Clara uses Spanish lace, one of the best in the world.

Ask nalang the one who will make your gown for samples of the lace they will use and approve it first before you give your downpayment.

Thank you mga sis! Nagkaroon naman ako ng hope hehe. It doesn't matter naman to me kung may pangalan o wala, basta gusto ko lang ganyan ang itsura. I checked yung other thread about seamstresses pero wala masyado about wedding gowns.

@Missus O - Yes, I understand sis na mahirap talaga humanap ng may pangalan na papayag sa 20k. Base sa pagbabackread ko dito, para ngang wala eh. Sana makahanap ako ng magaling na mananahi. Thank you, sis.

@pinaydiaspora - I see sis, thanks for the advice! Dahil sa budget malamang seamstress nalang than designers. I will try to find one sa divi. Most of them ok lang naman na ako na ang magsource ng tela, right? May nakita ako sa market market na satin, 1200 per yard. Pero tbh, I have no idea kung ano ang maganda at hindi.

@yannuh - Kaya siguro hanggang 30k pero super duper max na yun at dapat pati accessories kasama na. Parehas kami nagdecide ni fiance na wag gastusan ang mga suot namin dahil nanghihinayang kami na isang araw lang magagamit. Si fiance will just wear good quality suit na he owns na.

@Chili1113 - Oo nga sis eh. Panalo talaga yung lace ng Rosa Clara. Ang ganda ganda!!! Pero too steep! Try ko na rin maghanap ng tela. So far sa market market palang ako nakatingin. Saan ba dito sa Manila ang tela central? Thanks!

she can certainly work on your budget like she did with mine. actually, your peg is somewhat similar to what i asked her to do for my wedding last july.
early stages pa lang ng planning naghahanap na talaga ako ng designer na kayang mag-execute ng off-shoulder gown pero yung magagaling sobrang out of budget na. good thing na i found out about roxy kase sulit sya for me and she's super nice pa.
you can also check out april dalid on fb. when i met her last year yung 25k nya may accessories na and ok and yung mga gawa nya lalo na her recent gowns. hindi ko nga lang sya binook kase mas malapit si roxy and na-"this is it" feeling talaga ko sa kanya.

waw. medyo pricey nga sis. hehe siguro kase sa bridal fair ako nagtanong kaya discounted kay april. though for a simple cut ng skirt baka mas mura. malaki kase talaga dagdag pag frou-frou or may pagka-ball gown.
agree din sa bridehouse kase ang gaganda ng mga gowns ng gt sisses naten from them like yung sayo sis yannuh.
