^ hi sis! Vonbride here yes he's midrange. His gowns start at 70k. I also like the works of Jazel Sy but Im not sure if she's still midrange kasi namamahalan na ko sa rates nya.

Hi sis lyr3hs, si Jazel Sy gave me a quote of 85k for plain skirt and very intricate top. Will inquire din kay Von, sana okay, though through mail lang since i am based here in SG.

sissies, try Clayton of Cecilio Abad's team. I think his starting prices are at around P80K, and better yet, the final design still goes through Cecilio for approval kya quality is guaranteed.

Most of the brides here who opted for custom made, had canvassed their designers from a minimum of 6 months to more than a year.  If you're just canvassing, a year would be sufficient.  The reason that brides are looking for designers so early, is not for fitting, but to lock the prices, at the same time to ensure that you have a slot for your favorite designer.  This only goes for mid-high end designers with a lot of clients.  If you backread, then you will learn that most suppliers have an annual, if not bi-annual, increase in their rates.  Fitting is mostly done the normal stage 6-8 months prior to the wedding.  To answer your question, it doesn't mean that you'll get a particular designer just because you met with them even if they had sketched a design for you. Tip: Most mid-high end designers  won't let you take a photo of the sketch if you're not getting them.

When I inquired with Mel Orlina earlier this year,  she said that her starting price was 45K, then a few weeks later her assistant sent me an email that it was 55K. Now I am not sure if she's increased.  But her gowns are really lovely but I didn't get her. 


For those who are interested, I just saw Bridal Room PH's IG account, and they're having a midyear sale with all wedding gowns selling at 30K. And you can rent 2 for 25k.  I am not working and am not paid by Bridal Room PH.  Just hoping to be a messenger bearing good news to those in need. hehe

Hi! I've gone to Tatah's shop--- or house, hehe he is a mananahi ata more than a designer. Don't expect an atelier.. the location is kinda shady and pagpasok mo sewing machines in a small space. But he is a nice honest man, i left my laptop and he chased me sa labas to give it back.

Claiza - i like her designs but a friend of mine had problems with her. Something about always delayed sa commitments on ento gowns and lying about schedules.. So i did not consider her na. Sayang kasi i think she is really talented and elegant her work.

Have you checked out-- Mel Orlina, Joe San Antonio, Jo Rubio, Debbie Co, Jazel Sy?

Hi mga sis! I would like to ask for your suggestions regarding sa designer na magaling pagdating sa intricate embroidery and stones/gems. I backread already but ang suggestions na nabasa ko lang is depending on the budget not sa expertise/forte. I'm scouting na and i hope ma feel ko din ang this is it pansit feeling like you girls kaya please help me. Thanks so much!

^hi sis. There are a lot of designers who can do intricate lace/swarovski designs. This is the reason why the sisters here are asking for your budget. Nowadays its hard to recommend and then later masasabihan ka ng ay ang mahal naman.

Sa sobrang dami ng designers ngayon ang hirap na talagang magdecide. Ang daming magagaling. Like Mel Orlina, Cecilio Abad, Veluz, Gretchen Pichay, Joe San Antonio, Patricia Santos, Roxy Bagano, Jazel Sy. Konti pa lang yan sis.

^thanks sis, i see, ang budget ko for my gown is 100k no more than that na. Actually may mga natanungan na ako na mga designers na nabasa ko din dito sa forum and some of them are responsive agad kinabukasan may sagot na but one of them is SEENZONE lang ako.. Naisip ko tuloy dahil ba sa nag iisip sya ng price range na sasabihin sa akin or dedma lang? Gaanu ba katagal dapat intayin ang isang designer to give his/her quotation bago ka mag follow up?

 I'm a bit new here and was searching for suppliers when i came upon this thread. actually, i'm searching for a coordinator. hihi. i would like to share with you my designer, 90k or 100k wedding gown na with entourage both male and female. really well made and elegant ang style niya. pero syempre you still have to 'feel' it if okay kayo ng designer na napili niyo.  she's not super sikat pero in my heart i know she's the right one.

hi guys! I'm back! haha super busy with preps for engagement may tinghun pa kasi kami, anyway i just wanna share my experience with Patricia Santos super heart broken lang ako, kasi first choice ko talaga siya,for engagement gown palang naman ito ha,gusto ko dana itty mina for engagement gown before wedding gown kahit madaming bad comments about her,pinush ko parin, i even waited for her kasi nagpunta siya europe, before siya magpunta ng europe mabilis siya meagrely, but when she got back super hirap kausap,baka busy na super, i called,texted, emailed wala parin binibigay na appointment schedule then nag message na ko sa instagram ayun sumagot na but super wala manlang sorry sakin sa hassle, anyway so nag give up na ko, napunta ako kay Pepsi Herrera and nagulat ako super bait niya, popular siya with celebrity clients and all but super accommodating sa normal people like me, and i had my first fitting with him already, he's so hands on pati sa measurements, kasi may ibang designers papa sukat nalang sa assistant or something, and plus  pa nandun din si Edwin tan.    hihi nashare ko lang

My cousin had 3 gowns made by patricia santos and she has nothing but good things to say about her. Maybe she focuses more on her regular clients?
