^Hi kaitlymischa, ninja8, same feeling with La Belle. When I inquired they would not give me their rates until I confirm that my budget was more than 700k. My budget naman is more than that amount but I was already turned-off.

thanks LilaFowler and lots-o. Super super nakahinga kame ni fiance.  Double time nalang kame sa work to earn back the 40. She can keep it. Whats nakakainis pa, shes always on vacation posting her travel on IG  while pending mga requests namen dati. Arrrgghhhh!

Hi girls! To those who avail full coordination, what should I expect from my supplier? I have booked a well-known and quite expensive supplier but it seems they're not providing me enough service. Do they normally remind you kung ano pa kulang? I have booked and inquire all by myself. If magrerequest ako sa kanila minsan nauuna ko pa malaman. I'm an overseas bride kasi and sometimes hirap ako sa communication with other suppliers pero prang mas hirap pako sa coordinator na to. They didnt even give me a list of their recommended suppliers para mas madali sana. I hope somebody could give me some ideas. Ayoko din naman ipush kasi alam kong madami din silang ibang clients but less than 4 months to go before the big day.

@angelgmr the coordinator should send you their recommended suppliers and update you kelan yung payment etc. You should have an open communication with your coordinator. Dapat madalas din siya nagrreply agad pag may concerns ka. Check mo din yung contract niyo kung ano-ano inclusions sa full coordination nila.

Please help! I'm really torn between getting Christine Ong-Te and Kutchie. Initially, I wanted COTE because they have a turnover package (5-6 months before) but since my wedding is not until December 2017 and i'm based here in Manila, i'm thinking now baka I won't be needing partial coordination. I've been to weddings where she is the otd, super organized I haven't attended any Kutchie weddings but i've been reading nothing but good feedback and her rates are lower.

@Nokie I'm also based in Manila, but I got partial coord (6 months before). I'm supposed to have booked at least 5 major suppliers before I turn over to her. My reasons for getting that service, kahit mahal, were because my wedding is in June 2017 already, and I live alone in Manila (no fiance or family to help me out).

How much partial coord kay COTE? A friend of my fiance got married recently and strongly COUNTER-recommends her.

Partial coord with COTE is 90k. I initially wanted Christine pero turn-off when I met her and her team. They were 3 in the group when they met us. During our meeting she was  discussing other clients with one of her staff, while the other was talking to us. She was also answering calls during our meeting (not once, but thrice). Sorry but really pet peeve ko yang texting and answering calls during meetings.

She was also very pushy with her recommended suppliers and inputs (e.g. dapat plated not buffet, green envelope dapat, 2 led walls, etc.) when start palang we said that we wanted a simple wedding. Yung suggestions niya parang not in accordance with our preference. Siguro iba lang kami ng taste hehe.

Sorry ang haba ng kwento ko haha. What happened pala with your friend?

^ I somehow understand how it feels sis. Though I have nothing but good words with my coordinator, minsan naiisip ko rin maybe because they have worked with a lot of well known people, their recommendations are outrageous sometimes. My coordinator works around my budget din naman, pero picky rin sya sa suppliers. Sa akin kasi pag not so important ok lang palampasin. I mean makaka get over naman ang mga tao sa LED wall, i'm sure hindi rin nila iisipin ang specs nun. Hehe! I hope they are getting that, brides wanted their services kasi they are one of the best, na maasahan sila, and it does not necessarily equates to spending big or suggesting high end suppliers. I have a friend, projector screen lang yung sa kanya pero ok naman sa guests, not a big deal.

hi sissies! for those who are still looking for their wedding planner. I highly recommend my wedding planner. I got married early this year somewhere here in Metro Manila. MAVIE Events Management is based in Tagaytay but when I inquired for Metro Manila wedding amazingly it was NO Charge and since recommended din sya from my friend I got her na as my wedding planner. Imagine from the time na nag inquire ako smooth ang pag uusap namin from theme na gusto nmin for the wedding till sa mga suppliers na recommended by her hanggang execution on my big day.  Ms.Mavie and her  team are very accomodating sa hotel palang hanggang church and reception. Ofcoarse sobrang di ko alam nagaganap dhil nga sa excitement yung mga bisita na namin ang nagsasabi na ang ganda raw ng wedding namin very organized.  They made my day perfect bukod sa nakamura  ako dhil ang rate niya very affordable unlike kutchie and tita neri na pinagpipilian ko din that time. Thanks to my friend Jackie masasabi kong jackpot talga ako...haha!!!

wow! Mavie Events Management is also my coordinator since OTD Package lang kinuha ko pro super hands-on si Ms. Mavie at lahat naka time line and dami ko assignments need to submit s kya on our meeting.haha! nakita ko lang sya sa FB posted by one of the supplier n pinagpipilian ko sa previous event nla though by next year pa wedding ko atleast medyo kampante na ako na di ako  magsisisi sa wedding coord ko. Dami pa rin need to settle especially sa suppliers, she sent names of  suppliers i think well recommended din kasi nababasa ko na sila s mga blogs. hehe!  Thanks #lyjavier

@kaitlynmischa, yes exactly my sentiments hehe. Kaya I chose Kutchie, I felt that she'll help me achieve the wedding that I really want. She really works with my budget, recommending low/mid-ranges suppliers and high-end suppliers for things i'm willing to splurge on. But COTE talaga is really really good! At the end naman, go with the coordinator (and other suppliers) na match with you and your h2bs vision and personalities.

Hi girls! Do you have any feedback on Celebrations by Marianne Chua? A friend highly recommends her but I can't find much feedback on her on the internet and here in GT. Her rates are more affordable (compared to Kutchie Z and Chinkie Uy). I might have double the guest list of my friend so I'm not sure if they can deliver the same service. TIA

hi! i'm an overseas bride and kino-consider ko talaga mag-full coordination. however, based from my research and inquiries na rin sa mga coordinators, medyo pricey na nga kapag full.. mga 50k+ na rin. im thinking if worth it ba talaga kumuha ng full coordinator kasi una sa lahat ang main concern ko is makakuha ng mga supplilers pa na talagang mag-fit sa budget pero maayos naman ang output. can the coordinator actually negotiate on my behalf? may nabasa ako dito na yung coordinator nya daw ginawa iyon. im just not too sure if generally part ba talaga ng work nila yun or would they actually do it. sa mga kumuha ng full coordination... how was your experience? TIA!

Hi Carlyndj, my h2b's brother got Kutchie it's a 600-guest Chinese wedding and super ok naman. Happy sila with the coordination. I got Kutchie as OTD coord but my wedding is on December pa.

Have you considered The Knot Wedding Events of Cary Ip and Jen Chua? They were recommended by our hotel and they specialize in Chi weddings. Honestly, I haven't talked to them yet but l did ask for a quotation which they sent promptly. So take this advice with a grain of salt . Good luck and happy preps! I'm still looking for an OTD coordinator.

These are the ones I've seen na talagang focused sa work and hindi coordinator na pang photo-op lang. They really are the owners/coordinators who are on top of things from start to end:

2. Jen Lim (Magaling sa Chinese and big weddings)
3. Christine Ong-Te (but get her, not team B)
