ako ba to sis wonder_elle? If yes, i apply tret 15-20 mins after the clarifying lotion. pea-size lang, this is my first time nag try ako to apply every night, 2 consecutive na actually so far so good. di pa naman namumula face ko or peeling. im using .025 ret lang.

finally gave in to tret! feeling ko matagal ko na syang nagagamit pero di lang sinasabi ng derma sakin na may tretinoin yung day vitamin cream na binibigay nya anyway, nagkaroon ako ng 2 bumps sa noo maliit lang naman which means its effective. i don't use alcohol based toner. micellar water lang and mild soap from my derma parang ang blooming ng face ko pagkagising!

From 6 months in Derm A 0.05, I'm moving to Retin A 0.05. I felt like wanting more result than what derm a is giving me. My acne is lessened a lot pero I still get occasional breakout which also feels alarming for me so I'm trying a change in brand. Wish me luck!

hydroquinone works very well with tretinoin like in the Obagi [textspeak!] Derm system. But you can't use it continuously for a long time. I only use it when my freckles start coming out or when I have dark pimple marks. Ive been using by Obagi Nuderm together with my tretinoin in the last 2 weeks and it has significantly faded all my dark pimple marks which aren't noticeable anymore under makeup. GAh!! I sup hate Olay products it is what really broke me out. Sayang I have soooo many bottles of the Olay miracle boost but I refuse to use it on my face after my breakout. So now I just use it on my neck =)

^I ordered my Obagi in the US and my cousin brought it to Manila so it was cheaper at 75USD. But I think you can buy it here in House of Obagi for 5k per bottle.

I currently use the Obagi Clear and Blender. But the most important one is the "Clear" -- I am sure it will work even if you don't buy the other bottles of Obagi (facial was, toner, blender). One bottle lasts me forever so OK na din the price.

For me, its the only thing that works to fade my freckles. Nothing else works as fast including Kojic Acid cream from derma.

I am not sure if they have a pharma brand available at drugstores. There used to be something called TRIluma with tretinoin, hydroquinone, and something else. But it was pulled out na from Philippines.

BTW hydroquinone is not meant to be used for more than 8 weeks straight.

Products I currently use for my pigmentation caused by sun damage - Alpha H Liquid Gold (AHA treatment with licorice extract), ZO Brightalive (Vit C) and the rest have niacinamide like Missha Borabit Ampoule, Iope BioEssence Conditioning, Sum37 Signature Essence, CosRX Galactomytes Essence, Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask and Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng Cream. Sa gabi lang on my non-tretinoin nights.

I might be older than you so baka hindi ka hiyang sa mga nagagamit ko kaya puwede ka rin siguro sa vitamin C serum OST C20 or C21.5. Nagamit ko na noon C20 and maganda siya sa akin; the 21.5 is a newer version with less ingredients, more expensive and better for sensitive skin. Another I've seen on the net but I haven't tried is It's Skin Powet Effector LI which has licorice. If you want cheap and effective for brightening or correcting dark pigmentation, maganda Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese brands according sa reviews. I buy mostly Korean kasi cheaper and more accessible for me online.

so pano dapat ang layering with retinol mga sis? i only use my snail cream, eye cream and sunflower oil now. i read na dapat wait muna ng 30mins after washing ng mukha tapos retinoin then the moisturizing products na? tia! planning on dropping by watson's today! excited na ako hehe.

^sis, maybe start with tret and sunblock. kasi kung mag start ka pa lang dadaan ka pa ng purging state diba. pero sa morning pwede naman yung normal skincare routine mo. basta wag lang kakalimutan ang sunblock

Nakita ko na yung retin a, tretinoin din pala siya. Kala ko retinol talaga siya perse. 😐

^ako nung start pa lang ako sa tret, 0.025 gamit ko. Wala muna ako ibang nilalagay. Pag may time na feel ko hapdi na sa face lalo sa gilid ng nose, tigil ko muna or every other night ko gamitin.
Medyo matagal ko  na rin to gamit.
Ngaun, naglayer na ako with moisturizer. Mas effective sakin yung mga serum, essence etc basta mga thin moisturizer kesa sa mga medyo thick na moisturizer. Wait 30min or more tapos tret na. May toner din pala ako.
Dati nung tret lang gamit ko nagkaka pimples ako sa jaw line. Or maybe matagal lang talaga ang purging state sakin. Now wala na.

Depende sa skin siguro gano katagal ang purging. Kahit ako hesitant dati dahil sensitive skin ko - mabilis magpantal. Twing threading ng eyebrow or pa-facial para akong may allergy.
Sakin kasi ang purging ko nun, pimples na maliliit lang. Hindi yung big red pimples haha
Wala rin ako na experience na pamumula ng muka. Yung tipong produkto ng maxi peel ba yun? Hapdi lang talaga pag gabi gabi ginagamit sa una.

anyone here using retin-a with obagi blender? i'm using TRX tretinoin but i'm gonna run out soon so i want to switch sa retin-a sana. i also want to try 0.05% daily instead of .1% every other day. i still peel sa .1% kasi. my derma doesn't have 0.05% and TRX is sobrang mahal (1750) so kaya siguro ayaw nya din ako payagan mag tret na OTC. hehe

i don't have any significant breakouts now. just left with a few PIH. di naman na siguro ako mag purge ulit with retin-a?

hello mga sis. nagpaconsult pa ba kayo sa dermatologist prior using tret? aattend kasi ko ng wedding sa november 26, kinakatakot ko ba malapit na wedding eh nagbabalat pa din ang face ko. pano po ba ang paggamit nito? Tret cream po ba gamit nyo?
