Anong pinaka okay na minimal strength tretinoin na mabibili over the counter and hindi sa derma? ayoko sana ng maxipeel - yung kakilala ko kasi na nag maxipeel mega pula yung mukha yung isa naman di mapula mukha pero parang ang nipis na ng balat - ang kintab!

Pero people react different to different brands, iba iba din kasi yung ingredients ng carrier cream. Pinaka-ayaw ko Retin A.

almost 2 weeks na ako gumagamit ng retin-a, so far wala pang tumutubong pimple.. yun nga lang mahapdi sa mukha lalo na kapag lumabas na ko at nainitan..

Ang slippy kasi nya, parang di naaabsorb fully. Parang nakapatong lang sa face. Yung Stieva A, parang water-based moisturizer ang feel -- yung feeling na nagsisink-in. Also the entire time I was using Retin A. Meron pa din akong isa or dalawang pimples. Sa Stieva, kapag that time of the month lang.

gumagamit ba kayong bleaching cream with your tretinoin?

wala lang ive tried so many dermas kasi laging kasama yung tretinoin plus bleaching cream. iniisip ko lang kung mag try ako ng stieva - ano i cocombo kong bleaching cream? suggestions?

When kayo nag brebreak from tretinoin?

^ I don't use bleaching cream while using tretinoin, usually hydroquinone yun.

I also don't take a break, unless I'm going to the beach or if I think I'm pregnant.

I've been using stieva-a 0.01% for 3 weeks now, and I must say I like it better than retin-a. Mas gusto ko yung consistency ni stieva and mas feel ko naaabsorb nya. Mas glowing din face ko when I wake up in the morning as compared to when I used retin-a. Or baka dahil din mas mataas lang yung percentage na ginagamit ko ngayon. But so far no purging pa :-)  micro-peeling lang.

I love Stieva-A! My favorite talaga of all tretinoin brands I've tried.

How much ang stieva 0.25? Try ko nga to, im breaking out! ayoko na mag derma kasi parang masyadong matapang yung combi ng bleaching and tret saka tipid mode ako.

i just purchased stieva a in watsons makati yung pharmacy nila... 625 big tube! nagulat ako sa price at sa laki - sa excitement ko di ko natanung kung may smaller - oh well sana hiyang!

i placed it in the ref kasi super init now eh sabi do not place anywhere higher than 26 yung temp.

By any chance - would you know if tretinoin is compatible with GNC's vit c moisturizer?
anong face soap okay dito? as far as i know pag nag tretret kasi ako usually humahapdi face ko.

I use non-foaming cleansers e.g. cream cleansers, physiogel, etc.

Will finally try this   My face is really oily, have lots of blackheads and whiteheads, and I get occasional zits (so may dark spots din ako)

Bought the Stevia-A 0.025% and will use it tonight.

Been trying to backread pero wala ako makita feedback re using Eskinol after cleansing and before Tret at night... Does anybody know kung pwede?

Also, I recently bought the St Ives Timeless Collagen Elastin Moisturizer - okay ba to as moisturizer after Tret?

On average, for how long will the peeling be from the time of first use?

@hot pepper, I don't usually use toners with lots of alcohol with tretinoin. St. Ives seems ok to be used with tret.

@marchbaby, I think I read somewhere saying it's 2 to 6 weeks. But it really depends on how your skin develops tolerance, how you use the product, and whatever else you're using with it.

^thank you. Another question, how will one know if it's time to increase the concentration used, say from 0.025 to 0.05%?

Siguro, once you can tolerate it (meaning no more redness and irritation) pero your skin acne is not responding significantly, that's the time to increase concentration. Usually naman pag naubos mo na yung tube, tolerant ka na. Unless your skin is really sensitive.

Ako I'm using 0.025% na lang. I used to use .1% then I downgraded to .05% until 0.025% for maintenance na lang. I don't breakout pa rin and I still get the benefits.

In case of irriration like redness and flaking, are there products that can be used or ordinary moisturizer lang talaga?

About the concentration of tretinoin, one has to go up talaga from 0.025 to 0.1? Or one can stay at a certain concentration lang?
