Yung save the date iDIY ko, invitations, mobile bar, pre nup shoot, wedding gowns, ento flowers, stylists are some of my negotiables.

Our non-negotiables are of course food, Church, venue, music, lights and sounds, and the after party.

I think it makes more sense to focus on the non-negotiables and it's easier to do the adjustments from there

minsan masaya rin magbook na medyo maaga kasi nakakuha ako kadalasan ng discounts..

ako wala na ko save the date or kung ano pang nice to haves. tsaka sa mga styling. hindi na ko kumuha ng ganon. hindi din kami kumuha ng souvenir yung photobooth yun nalang. pero dapat talaga meron kaso out of budget na kaya yun. non nego samin P/V, caterer.

Sobrang laking natipid ko sa pag DIY ng bridal/ento bouquets and DIY ng invitations... Roughly around 15K ang natipid for the bouquets and around 5K naman sa invitations Hindi na din kami kumuha ng event stylist kase wala naman kaming specific theme for the wedding. Kaya na ng florists namin yung styling based on our given motif.

Also, gaya ng mga sis natin dito, malaking tulong din ang pag haggle sa mga suppliers Like sa venue namin, narequest kong ilibre na ang full draping.  Malaking bagay din samin yun kase 25K din ang singil dun kung nagkataon Buti na lang mabait ang AE namin and gave us the full draping and upgrade to tiffany chairs for free and then waived off na din ang corkage fees for 10 bottles of wine #tipidMoves

Wow ang daming tipid moves here! Well, unfortuntely for me too late na dahil halos complete na ang suppliers namen and before i didnt know na pwede pa lang manghingi and discount and freebies pag nangulit ka ng sobra! At mas magastos si h2b, dami gustong gawin for the wedding! Buti na lang may mga friends si h2b na generous enough pra mag-sponsor ng fireworks, invitation design, back-up photographer and save the date! tha k God for supportive friends!

Hi girls! thank you thank you thank you!

Galing ng mga suggestions nyo on what to save and what to "splurge" on. Kami, we want a certain Videographer for the wedding, and baka ilet go namin yung masyadong mahal na photographer, so dun kami nag "splurge". As for the gown, hindi naman masyado into designers, we are actually looking for RTW gowns, since we want to see what looks best. Kakagaling lang namin sa venue and church hunting, at medyo certain na kami sa church and venue namin.

For us naman, parang ang gagawin na lang namin, yung isa sa mga prenup photos ang gagawin naming Save the date kind of teaser, para libre na.

Thank you for the suggestion on the haggling with the suppliers! We will probably closing the deal with the venue na, under a package, so it's haggle time for us!

Btw, sinu sa inyo ang kumukuha ng package? What is the difference between getting a package and getting your suppliers which are also accredited in the venue and customizing your event?

Almost all part sakin tinipid hahaha yung reception ko, wala ko binayaran sa venue. mejo nakakapanghinayang 30-40k for venue lang of 4 hrs.
gown ko is 5k from divi, groom suit will be rented. since basically 1 time lang naman isusuot. planning to DIY bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres and church decors.. nanghihinayang din ako sa florist.

Nung unang wedding fair namin sabi namin 300k lang ang budget. Tapos 100k sa honeymoon (mga 15-18 days na indo china/asean tour). But then narealize namin na mas nagmahal na ang suppliers kumpara sa mga nakikita nami sa mga blogs/reviews/forums. Tapos Tagaytay wedding pa so kamusta sa OOT ng mga di maiiwasang non-tagaytay based suppliers. Sa ngayon stick kami sa 400k wedding budget. Sa honeymoon sana ganun pa din or kung magkano maipon at makuhang monetary gift. Hopefully magkasya or konti lang ilagpas kung lumagpas man. Happy preps to all!

for Alabang area, nung nag inquire ako. pinaka murang rates pa to. nasa 200k+ yung 150 pax. reception lang yun so di pa kasama church. kung kaya mo naman tipidin yung iba, go ka na sa hotel

We initially planned on spending 300K sana with the closest people to us lang, but it seemed impossible esp for a Tagaytay wedding (considering the OOT fee). As of now, 500K (and more) pa ang total expenditures  namin given na nag DIY na kami at nagtipid na kami.

DIY - invitation, candles, bible, arrhae, ring plate, task cards, etc
FREEBIES - sweets booth, bridal car, photobooth, church

With all that, we feel truly blessed na!

We were scouting kanina for the venues and their packages, as well as churches, then when we made our costing, omg! OMG talaga!

Iyong pwedeng i-DIY like invitations and souvenirs gawin na lang. Ang pinakamahalaga sa akin iyong masarap na food para sa mga bisita at magandang P/V kasi di ba once ka lang ikakasal you might as well capture the moment, right? I am still thinking about SDE kung ipupush ko medyo mahal nga lang kasi. I am a January 2015 bride sis. Iyong gown ng ento at gown ko from Divisoria. Iyong gown ko at gown ng ento more or less 30k ang budget ko kasama na dun iyong barong ng ento. Happy preps sis! Konteng kembot na lang Mrs na ako hihi so excited to change my stat haha

For us we initially agreed on P1.6M budget for 200 pax Tagaytay wedding. We're prioritizing quality over quantity because h2b's family has high standards :p When I started planning and getting quotes from suppliers,  ok ok pa. Now that I'm about 1/3 of the way (some major suppliers already booked), we are quite overbudget. We're at P1.72M already and finding it hard to find where we can cut. The following are our suppliers; we're going for mid-tier ones in almost everything with this budget. Hope this helps guide other brides with the same budget, these are the caliber of suppliers we can afford lang! Sayang kasi dream ko pa naman si Mayad dati. But im happy naman. Medyo kailangan nalang  magtipid elsewhere

Sis sparklingjewel, I hear you, I think everyone can relate to following the budget! Lalu na if you have a beautiful wedding in mind, yet you still have to consider your other priorities (i.e. budget, family's taste, etc.), but sabi nga ng mga suppliers that we have booked and met, your wedding boils down to the couple. Foundation of what you like your wedding to have, feel or look, yung ang importante, everything else, additional na lang. profound diba, pero may sense.

Given that, super hirap talaga ng budgeting! Kami, we and will still try to cut down the extenders and the nice to haves and just follow our must haves. Hay goodluck!

It's true kapag iniisip ko na one day event lang ang wedding parang sobrang laki ng gastos. We actually want a simple wedding but simple doesn't mean cheap pala!
We initially set a budget of 350k for 100pax and now we're over 500k na when I tried computing everything. And I thought nagtipid na ko :p

I can relate sis mikamika...sa sobrang napapalaki na ang gastos namin, medyo hindi na namin priority yung honeymoon kasi pinagiipunan din namin ang bahay..

I feel you ladies! Our initial budget has now doubled! We've booked most of our suppliers, but there are still a few things on our list that have not been accounted for. At first, I thought, okay lang. Kaya pa. These were the small miscellaneous things with minimal costs. But then... I started organizing them in our files, summed it all up, nagulat ako! Hahaha. So now, I say no to these cute little things that are nice to have, kasi it will just add up costs unnecessarily. :p
