ok pala packages ng KbyC. Namahalan tuloy ako sa packages ng Polo Club hehe Their cheapest package is at around 880++/pax but super konti and ordinary Filipino food lang. Parang pang kiddie party type of food lang. Nasa 1750-2000++/pax yung mga ok na menu nila for weddings.

 

Sis mahal pa nga si K for the quality and amount of food. Juan Carlo is best value, may mga good dishes naman sila na we cant get over din (may norwegian salmon na in 1050/ head) pero kasi they suck in styling kaya we were still forced to go with K by Cunanan even if inabot kami ng 1195+130+150 per head to get the menu we want. Hehe. Si Bizu daw ang best-tasting food in local caterers but i think they are also the most expensive. Mga 1700-1900 alam ko yung cheapest menu, pero no fail daw exag hotel food quality.

^juan carlo bride here and I agree sa styling nila. Naiinggit ako sa mga kbyc bride at medyo nagsisisi ako bat hindi ako nag kbyc to think same price lang sila ni juan carlo. Kaya nagparequest ako ng mock setup kay juan carlo. Kahit magbayad ako ng 350 gusto ko lang makita ano kakalabasan sa wedding ko ayoko magulat hehe

Any thoughts on cost cutting? Did i over estimate a few things? magkakaallowance pa kaya?

If you really want to have Francis Libiran to design your gown, maybe you can compromise on other things. Say engagement stylist. You can tap other good stylists at much lesser costs. By doing so, you can save around 50 to 60k, which you can use to increase your gown budget.

As for event styling, you can try to negotiate with Teddy and Jo. Have your flowers for entourage done by someone else. Just have them do church and/or reception only to save on costs. You can also check other photo booth providers so you can save around 5 to 7k with that. As for lights & sounds, will you be getting an LED wall or acrylic stage? If not, maybe you can try to negotiate with Meanne to cut down costs

^ sis how many guests do you hvae? Nagulat ako na pasok sa 1.5 M considering you are getting Nelwyn Uy, Cinemaworks, and Francis Libiran.

With that budget or even less, you can actually do that sis. However, you can't go high profile for everything. Set non-negotiables, get the known ones in the industry for those, then tap some mid-range suppliers who are equally good but are just starting to climb up the ladder. Lastly, approach the trusted suppliers of your family (read: relatives and family friends hehe) who can give you quality service for super discounted rates hehe. :p

September 2015 bride here We plan to have 150 guests (or less) with a budget of 200-300K within Metro Manila. sana ma-pull off namin. Naghahanap na kami ngayon ng reception and preps venue.

What I plan to do para magstick sa budget is some of the items DIY like invitations, boutonniere, flowers at ang nasa isip naming give-away is something na may gagamit talaga (e.g., Php50 to Php100 like a donation in their name) also scouring for deals na makakahelp. We also have friends who have pledged to take on some of the expenses (e.g., wedding cake, pre-nup)

Kung may ideas kayo to help for brides like me with a tight budget, will truly appreciate it

hi sis i had my wedding with  180 guests, we spent about 320k I can share my file if you want. An secret dito is just be practical at iwasan mo yung WANTS but instead stick on the NEEDS.

Thanks for the tips sis Caleeice!! ive been going over my budget and trying to cost cut, but hindi kaya. I noticed my food and beverage budget is the one that's really high. =( I also want to trim my guest list down, however my venue is quite big and 200 is the min. no of guests that wont make the place look sad and empty.

Yeah, it's really hard to trim guest list. Number of guests determine really how much budget we need to allot. Increase in number of guests = increase in costs! Hay, hirap noh? Pero since you can't do much about costs for food and beverage (which really takes the bulk of the budget), maybe you can approach your family's or your future in laws' trusted suppliers? Samin kasi, we approached our family friends and our families' trusted suppliers (who have been rendering services for family related events, etc) for catering, rings, make-up, entourage gowns, cake... so we were given really huge discounts and that's why we were able to cut down costs on those Saving from these can be used to splurge on your non-negotiables and nice to have! sis have you tried inquiring with Bounce? Yung events place sa Mandaluyong. Ang tanda ko may around 90k wedding package sila for venue + food and other freebies. Di ko lang din ma-recall if for 100 or 150 guests yun.  Though yung food inclusion basic lang and wala pa ako nabasang review/feedback about the pacakage. check mo na lang sis if you want

Hi @MrsA thanks for the suggestion. Confirmed na sa Paco Park yung Church namin kaya medyo malayu yung Bounce we started looking actually sa Intramuros and yung top two namin is -- Patio Victoria and Ilustrado.

Hindi namin afford ang Villa Immaculada and La Castellana, huhu. But yung top two namin mukhang swak. Though di pa kami makapagdecide dahil parehong maganda ang rates and amenities nila. Nkakalito lang. haha!

hi everyone, i'm new here but i'm a long-time lurker...our budget is about PHP350K for 150-180 guests...however, my wedding will be in my province so a lot of the expenses are cheaper compared to manila prices...my wedding coordinator has been very helpful and reviewed my budget, she suggested items where i can save and where i need to allot more...if you have a coordinator, have a chat with her/him on how to allocate your budget better :-)

wow shock ako sa wedding budget that i read here! at first i want only 500,000 eh venue,photog and video palang yun kaya i increase it to 700,000 but still not enough pa din wala pa akong gowns and wedding ring!hayz need to increase again buti nalang hubby ko understanding basta happy me happy na din daw sya kaso uuwi pa kami ang mahal ng airfare here in italy with our daugther... now ko lang narealise ang mahal pala magpakasal ng dream wedding ko still i was a child..

sis curious lang, how much sa La Castellana? bet ko din sana kasi yun. but we decided to hold our wedding in Rizal area because want to veer away from the beaten path of the usual areas where weddings are held, like in Manila and Tagaytay, because of the traffic, esp since December ang wedding.

Hi, September 2015 bride here:) Initially, 200K ang budget namen sa 100 pax pero since dumami sila, naging 150 pax+30 suppliers, asa 350K na kame na mukang dadami pa huhuhuhu.Dami na excluded dun sa budget na yun at talagang haggle galore ang ginawa ko sa mga suppliers. Wag naman sana umabot sa 400K haii. Happy preps, sissies!:)

As much as possible ginagrab namin ni hubby [textspeak!] mga discount and promos. 150k budget din ako so far pasok naman sya. Mostly may mga DIY kami e.

Caterer: Town's Delight The Caterer - like TD, the reason why we get TD kasi Tagaytay Weddings sila then they have a wide range of setups, packages + freebies to choose on. So that's why we hire them

true, DIYing whatever you can DIY can help a lot...at first i wanted an event stylist as well but the price starts at 50k so we decided to DIY the bouquets, decorations, and other props...so far my ribbon bouquets have cost me less than S$50 and they're starting to look exactly like how i want them to :-)

Dahil mas inaabangan namin ang honeymoon more than the wedding itself, we decided to lower it from 800k to 250-300k.
