Mga sis, wala na po talaga sales load pag top-up sa philequity. Meron lang sales load,which is 3.5%, if under agent/distributor yung account (agent yung nag asikaso ng application for PEFI). Yung sakin kase RAMPVER(RSA).
If IMG member kayo and sa kanila kayo nag open ng mutual fund automatically under agent kayo.RSA yung nagpro-process ng mga mutual funds nila.

Nag email kase ako sa philequity,asking them why others doesn't have sales load. And they don't have a valid answers.Sabi lang all of the concerns e i-email nalang ang agent.
I also reqeusted for re-tagging/transferring of account.

If I wanted daw to have a direct account with them, I-redeem nalang yung account ko sa agent and mag-apply nalang direct sa kanila.
It was just this year that they are not accepting anymore the re-tagging of account as per agreement with their distributor.

I have this friend who's also an officer of TGFI,adviced me na mag open nalang ako ng pefi via COL at hayaan ko nalang yung under sa RSA (less than 1 year palang kase ako.Exit fee is 2%)

#atm, my agent messaged me.One of his client 0% sales load nadin. Last week ng april nag top-up. So I just told him,try ko mag top-up ngayong month,tingnan ko if wala na din.
pag meron pa, tuloy ko yung PEFI via COL

^Baka for preferred clients yung zero sales load. As to the criteria, hindi natin alam.

Parang yung approach ng banks in selecting preferred clients - hindi clear cut. In banks (daw), may minimum requirements para maging preferred client pero hindi dahil ma-meet mo yung requirements na yun eh dapat preferred client ka na.

I called a while ago kasi may question ako for top up. Then asked na din if there is no sales load. She asked me if via agent ako or direct then asked my name and checked their database and said, for now, waived pa ring sales load. I just opened my account with them last month, mababang mababa lang initial ko. So it means depende lang talaga if direct ka sa kanila or via sales agent. Hindi dependent sa length ng account or amount ng investment. Pero they don't want to say na final na talagang wala na, sabi lang, for now, waived pa rin.

May kinausap akong agent regarding sa pag-offer ng Philequity via COL and yung 0 sales load. Sabi nya sa akin, yung sa COL daw, hindi control ng Philequity ang price kasi prang bulk purchase si COL then ibebenta nya lang. So I asked her kung ibig sabihin pwedeng di pareho ng unit price ang Philequity at COL, sabi nya oo. About sa 0 sales load, sabi nya, meron at meron daw yun pro baka hidden lang daw.. hehe.. ewan ko. naguguluhan tuloy ako. Iniintay ko rin kasi sa COL yung mutual funds eh. Pro baka magdirect na lang din ako.

I think the 0 sales load is a hush hush thing.
Trying to confirm it with Philequity is an exercise in
frustration.

At any rate, the COL Fund Source is going to
go live soon.
I confirmed with them that yes there won't
be any sales load and no there won't be
a separate set of NAVPS for COL investors.
(That means your agent is wrong JAZRINA)

Their arrangement is, they will get a cut of
the fund's management fee. I'm having a hard
time believing the fund managers agreed to that
but they said that's how awesome they are and my
understanding is correct haha

I have "test" access to COL mutual funds. Zero sales load and zero front end load. So, magbabayad lang sa management fee (varies per fund) and kung early redemption.

ang hirap mamili kung anong bibilhin sa COL MF. thinking of buying Philam Fund, i have equity na kasi plus stocks, mukang need ko naman magpakaconservative kahit papano. ano sa tingin nyo?

Tama ba understanding ko na pag sa COL, I'll just fund my account tapos mamimili na ko sa mga available MF kung saan ako magiinvest. Example sa Philequity. Then 0 sales load lahat? How bout yung NAVPS, kung ano rin yung NAVPS ng Philequity sa site nila, yun din ang mag apply? Tama ba?

Just got a chance to take a look around and I found
that COL has expense ratios under its research tab.
So cool. just like in the US!
