Sis peachlipstick, they should release it sa ayaw at sa gusto nila since sila naman nagkamali. Dont worry. Yun nga lang abala pa sainyo since ibabalik nyo pa.

Ang alam ko sis magkakaiba yan per church. So mas maganda icheck mo sa church mismo kung saan kayo ikakasal.

Mga sis pagmagkaiba ng place of residence ang groom and bride, kasi sa province namin yung wedding, okay lang na sa amin na kumuwa ng marriage license di ba? hehe Sorry no idea!

since malayo yung chapel kung san ako na-kumpilan. I'm thinking, pwede kaya na magpa kumpil nalang ulet? this time dun na sana sa church kung san ako ikakasal. may naka gawa na ba nun?

Hi everyone!  I hope your preps are doing great! I'm not sure if I recall it right at mayroon na thread for wedding/marriage documents, if yes, can't locate it sorry, if closed na, let's discuss nalang here and share procedures/experiences regarding all the documents that we are required to submit, or accomplish pre and post wedding.  My wedding is on April 2017, so I'm already starting with our list, and since we are both based abroad, we have our families to arrange some of the document processing for us, so medyo it's raining authorization letters and SPAs/Notarized Affidavits here and there.

Dyan ako nagbasa nun kaya nagkaidea ako sa mga requirements. Naka-apply na kami ng marriage license - it will be released on the 13th. Tapos complete na din ang church requirements, 2nd and last day namin ng pre-cana seminar this coming Saturday.

Ilang beses ba ang pre cana seminar? I thought isa lang?

Nagstart kami sa Baptismal Certificate, sad to say we both have an issue that involves amending our baptismal records sa chancery, but we are on it, nag order na din OL sa NSO ng birth cert. and CENOMAR, it will arrive anytime soon.

Marriage banns will be arranged by our OTD Coordinator next month. Since 3 consecutive Sundays naman yun diba? April pa naman wedding.

Pre cana and Canonical will be arranged by our OTD Coord. paguwe namin before the wedding.

Confirmation we will do it paguwe also (haha di pa kami nakumpilan both, may 1 day processing malapit sa Malacanang.  Pwede naman dito pero parang mas prefer namin sa Pinas na.

Marriage License we are trying to arrange it now, too.

Ano ba pa na miss ko? Medyo madugo yung sa baptismal namin, pero kakayanin, may 3 mos pa.

Dito ata sa part na'to ko mas nafeel na oh yeahs, I'm actually getting married na! Haha!

^sa St. Michael near Malaca?ang lang din ako nagpakumpil. 

Yung sa pre-cana, 1 day kasi sya dapat. Pero 2 Saturdays na halfday yung kinuha namin kasi inisched din namin yung mga FT with Juan Carlo, pagcheck sa hotel at venue, pamamasyal na rin sa Tagaytay. hehe

Yung marriage bann, naprocess na namin nung December. Pag nag-aasikaso ka ng papers, andun na talaga yung THIS IS REALLY IS IT feeling hahaha

Yung St. Peter Parish sa Commonwealth, they hold confirmation once a month. One day processing lang din. And half the price sa St. Michael. Just make sure to have a baptismal cetificate with for confirmation purpose. 😊

We secured our marriage license early this month at QC Hall. It took us around 1-1 1/2 hours to finish. Tumagal lang dahil sa distance ng civil registry office sa health office nila. Good thing they accepted our pre-cana certificate kaya hindi na kami nag-seminar sa health office. 😊

Just a tip for those who are overseas and need a dispensation to get married elsewhere. The process can take up to 3 weeks.

I was in a panic last night kasi we're leaving next week and I still don't have the dispensation. I called the Church Tribunal and
I was lucky enough to find someone who is very helpful and will expedite the process so I can get it before we leave.

Siguro ours took longer din kasi we needed to get a Dissolution of marriage due to lack of canonical form for my H2B. He was previously married but in a Pentecostal church.

Kukuha na kami ng Marriage License sa Mandaluyong City Hall by next month but according to my MIL, 90 days validity lang sya? I thought 120 days validity or sa Mandaluyong lang ganito? Would anyone know? Thanks mga sis!

hindi ko mahanap yung right parish kung san ko dapat kunin yung cert of confirmation ko... yun pala ang downside ng small village chapels, nag iiba iba minsan kung saang parish sila nagtu-turn over ng documents

Baka mas madali to just get confirmed again. That was my coord's advice when I had issues with my confirmation certificate.

I got confirmed at my school. When we requested a copy they could not find my record. Luckily we found the original certificate and we got them to re-issue it.

Thanks sis! oo nga I'm starting to consider this option na din eh kasi it will really save me a lot of time trying to figure out kung saan ba talaga makukuha certificate ko. bukod kasi sa hindi ako familiar with the place (sa village ng tita ko kasi yung chapel na 8 years ko na hindi napupuntahan), hindi din masabi specifically ng chapel kung saang parish ako dapat mag claim.
