^ sobrang nakakabwisit mag pa correct. Eh yun kay fiance pa naman, name nya, name ng mother & father pa!! Nung una, need daw affidavit ng nanay nya para explain bakit daw mali. So ginawan ko ng affidavit at inexplain kung anong nangyari 35 years ago. Tapos binalik ulit, sabi bakit daw ganun yung salaysay/affidavit, bakit daw numbered, saka di daw inexplain kung bakit nagkamali. Eh nandun naman!! So nagsnap na ako sabi ko diba form lang naman yun numbered na affidavit, di naman affected yung content, nakakabwisit. Tapos nun 3rd (binago ko yun affidavit, tinanggal ko number. grabe!!) , si fiance na mismo naglakad and inunahan na nya "O sir, pinabalik ako 3rd time na dahil daw numbered yun salaysay at hindi daw yun salaysay kahit abogado naman ang gumawa". Ayun. Binigyan sya ng endorsement agad. Shucks. Sakit sa ulo!!

Hi girls! My wedding will be on Jan 2017 pa, mas okay ba na 3-4 months before ang wedding nalang namin ayusin ang requirements? Ang layo kasi namin ngayon sa isat-isa.

sis krysia27, kay fiance, sa birth certificate nya "female" sya instead na male. pero matagal na naipacorrect. sa baptismal nya, wrong spelling name ng father. dun kami natagalan ngayon! hassle talaga. if i were you, nilagay mo sa letter na nagchichismisan lang kasi siguro mga encoder kaya ittype na lang, mali mali pa! wahaha!

sis tea08, kung wala problem sa content ng personal documents nyo, ok na ang 3-4 months. pero at most ay 6 months. kasi 6 months lang usually ang validity ng baptismal at confirmation cert. pati NSO documents. considered "latest copy" kung within 6 months ang issuance. pero kung may mga typo error or other discrepancies, better to have them corrected asap para smooth ang processing ng docs pag malapit na kayo magsubmit

Hay nako grabe makakalbo na yata ako dito sa documents ni h2b. Ayaw magbigay ng new baptismal certificate ng church niya from Italy. Once lang daw sila nagrerelease and yun na raw yung hawak namin hindi na sila magrerelease ng bago hindi daw nila alam yung mga marriage purpose anotations tapos yung name niya sa birth certificate magkahiwalay yung first and 2nd name pero sa passport and other ID niya magkadikit.

^San Agustin in Manila. Half day lang. Need mo lang magdala ng letter from your church kung san kayo magpapakasal. Then magbabayad ka lang ng fee (forgot na how much)

Like may christian garden wedding muna then followed by a church wedding after a week? Thanks a loooot!!

^May kilala akong gumawa niyan. Yes, it's possible but make sure both officiants know about the other ceremony para maayos yung documents.

Bakit ganun mga sis, hinihingan pa kame ng cenomar ng church, e civilly married na kame. D ba marriage certificate n [textspeak!] dpt ang  ibibigay nmen?

Interested to find out din kung ano ang dapat na process kasi I've been civilly married to my husband for 13 years na, but we're still planning to get married in Church. Ano ba talaga ang requirements if ganito 'yung situation? Sis B2B2016, 'yun din ang akala ko. But, after you posted this question, parang na-confuse ako. Baka mali pagkaintindi ko. Ano naman need ng CENOMAR? Baka kailangan lang nilang malaman na hindi ka pa nakasal sa Church ever before? Baka 'yun?

I remember kasi meron din akong co-worker na they got married in Church two years after their civil wedding. 'Di naman ganoon kahaba and ka-stressful na 'yung preparations nila, including na 'yung  mga papeles or documents. 'Yung seminars lang ang natagalan talaga nila.

Also, I Googled for cenomar and found this: http://purplelue.com/how-to-list/catholic-church-wedding-requirements/. In the comments section, someone asks if need pa ba talaga ang cenomar sa Church wedding if civilly married ka na. Ang sabi ay mag-ask daw sa Church kung saan kaayo magpapakasal. So, maybe it depends on the Church? I don't know. Maybe somebody here can help us out?

Hi mga sis,

It's been a while since I posted here....Super busy lang sa school and work...Will be coming back to PI soon to focus on the wedding prep...So far the major suppliers that I need are secured, however, medyo worried kami ni h2b kasi 2 weeks after the wedding eh fly out na ulit kami from PI....Any of you know how long it takes to get the marriage certificate after the wedding? Gusto kasi namin dala na namin sana yung certificate pag-alis namin sa PI. Is there a way na pwede namin makuha yun faster? Any of your suggestions will be very much appreciated...5 months to go nalang!!! OMG!

Thanks sis! Worried kasi kami kasi kailangan namin yung marriage cert so that my h2b can apply a family visa for me instead of just tourist...mas mura sana but, I guess we just have to adjust...anticipated na din naman namin ito kasi we already know how the processing of papers are in PI pero baka lang kasi nagimprove na or may way to make it faster...hayz!

actually the one who can tell you what requirements you need is the diocese/chancery that has jurisdiction over the church you want to get married in. ask your preferred church kung saan diocese or chancery nila. like me, my church is john paul 2 in eastwood so sa diocese of cubao ako.  at the diocese, they will interview you and your husband and based on your status, they will determine what you need to submit.

i told them we intend to have a civil wedding before our church wedding so they asked me to get an advisory of marriage from the nso in lieu of the cenomar.

^buti naman sis. super gastos din. 100 sa baptismal and confirmation cert, marriage banns 500 sakin 600 kay husband non. super shocked ako ganon kamahal pala yun haha!

^ Yes sis, I read something similar to that. May nag-a-allow ng 5 years, pero iba usually 10 years nirerequire para wala na Marriage License.

^^ 5 years ang nakalagay sa code. But thats for couples who want to be married in civil lang. Kung sa church kayo magpapakasal and dont want to get marriage license pwede nyo gamitin yung article na yun. Youll need to sign an affidavit that you and your partner are living together na for 5 years. Then ikakasal kayo sa civil. Then you will submit your marriage contract sa church.
