Same... ayaw din ni H2B ng may diamonds. Pero maganda yung ring nya. Plain, 5mm thick and platinum. Binili ko when we bought my engagement ring so we can get a big discount. 56k yung kanya I think, 10k lang yung akin.

Mine is 2mm plain band in platinum din to match his.

Hi,Are diamonds non-negotiable ba? or as tradition only?

im looking at low cost irngs kasi from zoey lang, as my works requires me to remove jewlery when working, and medyo makalimutin pa ako kaya masakait for me na makawala ng ring. Ive lots a lot of watches na this way..hehe buti nalang, tutuban watches lang sila

pasensya na mga sis, hinde talaga ako maalam when it comes to jewelry.

Ano ba price range ng pinakamurang engagement ring? I lost mine around New years ewan ko ba nasa bag ko lang kasama wedding ring then biglang nawala yung e-ring.
It was a simplering, ayaw pa sabihin ni hubby price pinilit ko lang but still hinde ko afford yung price niya hahaha. naghahanap ako ng mura [textspeak!].

I'm so guilty and want to replace it asap. Just a simple white gold ring na may maliit na diamond.
Sabi ni hubby siya na daw magpapalit but hinde pa sa ngayon since focus muna kami sa pregnancy ko. Hinde nga big deal sa kanya yung pagkawala, focus daw kame kay baby. ako ilang araw  depressed dahil dun  :(.
I want to replace it before giving birth baka mas lalong wala akong budget after lumabas ni baby.

Getting married end of this year and I've only just begun planning  :-\ so I'm on GT for info gathering. Very helpful and informative!

But break muna from supplier info hunting so I visited this thread.  I've had my engagement ring for months now but I'm still excited to wear it every day!  Simple band lang with solo stone and I really <3 it! I don't know how to attach photos in this forum but maybe this Dropbox link will work:

Do you remove your ring when you go to bed or do you girls wear it even when you're sleeping?  Still deciding on a nice wedding band style that will go with the engagement ring. Reading back and I agree, eternity rings are pretty :)

Nice ring, sis. I love solitaires! They are so classy.

I take off my ring before bed kasi it has sharp edge. My fingers also swell when I'm sleeping. I don't I don't wear it around the house din kasi it gets dirty.

I only wear mine during weekends & on special occassions kasi I want to work freely during weekdays.

@LilaFowler love your nick! My favorite book series too ;) Yes, I'm happy I received a solitaire despite the halo trend. That's pretty too but I prefer the classic cut :)

@pr1tzie Thank you! :) Yun nga, we went to the beach last weekend and parang natakot ako while swimming, feeling ko malalaglag (kasi lumuluwag) and the ocean floor was a bit dark and deep na where we were. I should only wear it when there is no chance to lose it :o

I have this colleague who recently got engaged and I'm happy for her. The thing is, when she asked me how they should begin with the preps, she suddenly boasted about her ring. She told me that it was expensive (because the receipt was also given to her) and so on. I understand na sobrang saya lang niya that's why she told me those things. The thing that really annoyed me was when she told me na luma na yung style ng engagement ring ko (traditional tiffany) and hers was the new one (crown style she said). I love my ring so much! Specially that it was given to me by my soon to be husband. She's too insensitive to say that to me and we're not even close friends. Sorry for the rant. Nainis lang talaga ko sa kanya. I don't think it's proper. Am I being too sensitive?

Ako naman last year we went to Japan for vacation. I really don't want to bring it because I'm afraid I might lose it pero di rin ako kampante to leave it at home since I'll be gone for so long so inisip ko nalang para maganda sa pictures namin kaya dinala ko nalang din! Hehe! :D

For me that's insensitive kasi naman our soon to be husbands worked hard to give us the best rings so no one has the right to insult it. Pero siguro sobrang na-excite lang siya kaya di na nya napreno un bibig nya. Kung ako siguro yun I'll just keep quiet & then pag inulit nya pa ulit yun, pagsasabihan ko nalang. chill sis :)

Di naman kayo close no? The ring may be expensive for that person, but her attitude sure is cheap. Di naman kasi kailangan i-compare. Chill na lang sis. Kain tayo ng comfort food. ;)

Wag ka na paapekto sa comment sis! Regardless of the price and style, your own e-ring is still the best because at the end of the day, your FH's heartfelt thoughtfulness is the only thing that should matter! 😎
