What keeps you motivated at work?

When the boss go o a business trip the exec sec goes with him.... opo motivated ako pag may mga trip trip... Ang bait kasi ni boss at kasama ako sa mga trip nya at yung wife ni boss pag bumili ng bag or things nya sabit hehe...

Im retiring na sa job kasi ayaw kona gumising ng maaga everyday just to go to work... I love my job pero ayaw kona iwanan sa mga yayas mga anak ko.

Wow ako pala ang TS nito. Lol. It's been a year.

Anyway, i'm no longer in that phase of severe demotivation. Sometimes tinatamad, naoovercome naman. Thanks for sharing guys

sad to say, and i'm ashamed to admit it, money. before, like 5 years ago, just simply my job keeps me motivated. i really liked my job. even if every day we had OT, even if we had so many jobs and we didn't know how would we be able to finish it on time, it was okay. but did the management appreciate that, no. but now, if not for the money, i will not work for them even for a day.

-unang una sa lahat syempre "money"
-kapag maganda ang performance may incentives.. pera na naman haha!
-kapag maganda performance may tyansang ma promote, medyo lalaki ang sahod. pera na naman.
-kapag magaling ka, syempre maraming tao na bibilib sayo. lakas maka ego boost diba.
-challenge : madalas kasi ang changes samin at pahirap ng pahirap. So nati-thrill ako , ginaganahan ako.
-Family ko: ang sarap kasi sa feeling kapag proud sakin yung family ko at nakakapag provide ako sakanila ng aming pangangailangan.

 - I genuinely enjoy the company of people I work with
 - years of discipline gets  me through the "tamad" days.  when I was living with my parents pa, bawal mag sick leave kung hindi naman sobrang may sakit talaga!
 - I always tell myself "work as if you don't need the money".

more than the pay, i guess its the workload delegation - ke kumilos man ako o hindi wala rin ibang tutulong at gagawa para sa kin so need ko talaga gumalaw galaw ...

not sure if medyo OT: sa mga sis/bros natin who are working on graveyard or night shift, aside from the money (night shift differential) how do you keep yourself motivated at work? my next project will be on night shift, and being a day person (and a single mom living with my son and his yaya), medyo worried ako na baka hindi ako magtagal sa next project ko - knowing that i have to leave my son and his yaya lang during those unholy hours of the night.  haist..    thanks in advance mga sis and bros.
