Got my visa today, and multiple entry na! Pwede na pumunta ng korea on a whim! Pressure to! Need to start planning na for our upcoming trip.

Hassle lang at mukhang I have to go back para ipacorrect yung info sa visa. But I'll just take the mistake as a sign. Hehe. Last time na nagpunta ako ng Korea, may korean na nagtanong sa akin if I had an alien registration card. Inisip ko, mukha ba akong OFW? Not sure, pero yun lang naisip ko na dahilan para magkaganun ka. Or pag student ka ata. Tas ito ngayon... hehe...

^ first time ko kumuha ng Korea visa last year and multiple na ang binigay. I think medyo maluwag sila sa visa issuance now, kaya pag ok travel history e posibleng mutliple na talaga ang ibigay..

Malayo ba dmz sa myeongdong? Train ba going there? Iniisip ko if we need to include it in our itinerary

^ yes sis, your cousin may submit her husband's supporting documents. Much better if they're travelling & applying together. Pag hindi kasama si hubby nya sa trip, baka mas ok kung aside from supporting documents e may letter din from the husband stating na he will shoulder your cousin's expenses during the trip.

^ ay di ko lang alam yung sa bf mo sis.. I believe na individual assessment ang gagawin sa inyo since di pa kayo related, regardless kung lagi kayo magkasama sa previous trips nyo and kung sabay kayo mag-aapply.. Subok na lang, wala naman mawawala.

hi mga sisters  nakabook ako ng flight to seoul via cebpac sa september 25-30.. tanong ko lang kung malamig na ba sa mga panahon na ito? o parang summer padn ang feeling? kasi dba autumn na ang 1st week of october nila? hehe TIA

1st time ko sa Korea sa May mga sis, ask ko lang mga aning aning ko:

1. Kumuha ba kayo ng agency para itour kayo sa Korea? If yes, anung agency sis?
2. Ayos lang ba ang 26K for 5D4N, accommodation and tours only (w/o airfare)?
3. Kung nagpunta ka sa Jeju Island, magkanu nagastos mo?

Sa mga nakakuha ng multiple entry visa, did you submit a photocopy of your previously issued korean visas?

^ in my case, i did not have any previous korean visa. But i submitted photocopies of my Schengen, US and JP visas.

Mas malaki ba ang chance na maapprove ang visa kung napag-book na ng flight at hotel prior sa pagkuha ng visa?

^ they won't ask naman for your flight and hotel details... sa app form may possible length of stay and your address in Korea. pero if di ka pa sure, pwede mo naman siguro ilagay na wala pa.

I see. The thing is, nakapagbook na kami ng flight and hotel pero hindi pa nakakapag-apply ng visa kaya I'd like to know kung advantage ba yun. I'm hoping na i-consider nila yun.

within Seoul, DIY lang kami. madali naman mag-commute and mag-navigate. nag-join lang kami tour group for Nami+Petite France tsaka DMZ tours. Yung DMZ, you cannot DIY kasi controlled yung area. yung Nami+Petite France, we decided to join the tour for convenience (small group lang yung Nami+PF tour, 7pax, then naka-coaster kaya maluwag).

DMZ is quite far from Myeongdong and you'd need to book with a tour group to get there. DIY trips are not allowed in that area.

Yep I did, actually, nung 3rd apply ko, pinaphotocopy nung girl sa window 3, so better have it photocopied before going to the embassy.

I don't think this has a bearing with the Korean embassy. Ibabalik lang nila sa iyo yung copy if ever you try to submit this. Ako, nga sa application ko laging undecided ang address and phone number in Korea pero approved naman lagi.

In applying for visa, always remember na ang tinitignan ng embassy is if meron ka pang babalikan dito. So consider the things that you have here na pag nakita ng embassy, masasabi nila na babalik ka pa. Like condo/house/land titles/deeds, car registration, club memberships, financial documents, etc.

When I applied for my family's visa, I included all the land titles that my parents had and car registration, kahit na complete yung requirements nila. Kinuha siya, since it's proof of the ties that we have here in the Philippines.

Nagbibigay naman before ang Korean embassy ng multiple entry visa. Pero, usually ito, sa mga may OECD visas and frequent travellers sa mga countries na yan. Tas meron silang mga policies like pag naka 4 visits ka within 2 years, you could go to Korea na without visa, and yung isa if naka 10 visits ka na sa Korea, you could also go to Korea visa free. Pero late last year nagstart sila to ease on visa application. Here's some of the news regarding that:

For tourists from Southeast Asian countries, a one-year visa will be issued for those who have visited Korea once, and three-year visa for who visited more than twice.

Only three-year multiple visas have been given to Southeast Asian tourists who visited the country more than four times in two years so far.

Those who are issued the three-year multiple visa will also be eligible for five-year multiple visas, which were not given out before.
