We will also be availing of the tour guide para complete experience talaga, though hindi nagrereply si Chenla Mao sa facebook. Baka meron naman kami ma-meet na tour guide on the day of our arrival. Based sa mga nabasa ko, masyado malaki ang place para walang guide. Saka yun naman talaga highlight ng trip, visiting angkor w a t so why not. Super helpful ng thread na to.

Just got back from Siem Reap!

Super recommended Bou Savy Guesthouse! Everything is nice. Asikaso kami from the the time na bumaba kami ng bus from ho chi minh, until pagdrop off nila samin sa Siem Reap Intl Airport. Yung tuktuk driver namin (Kie), siya na naging official driver namin sa lahat, including tours and pahatid-sundo sa old market. Downside lang siguro is yung smell nung throw pillows dun sa bed namin. Siguro smoking room yung napunta sa amin. We availed the $60 2 nights package with 1 day tour. Para saken, 1 day tour is enough. Sobrang init, paguran sa lakad.. Bring pamaypay and payong! Yung water, si tuktuk driver na ang bahala. Enough naman to keep us hydrated.

Sikat pala si Chenla Mao? Siya ang instant tour guide na binigay samen ni Bou Savy (bilang late na kami nagdecide na kukuha kami ng tour guide). $30 ang rate nya. Magaling siya in fairness. Alam mong based on facts and hindi niya lang basta iniimbento yung mga sagot nya sa tanong namin. I think, sulit din mag tour guide kasi sobrang laki ng place, at least there's someone who can guide you sa mga pasikot sikot and sa mga areas of interest lang. Maaga natapos tour namin, around 3pm, pero we don't mind kasi sobrang pagod and init na talaga kami. Yung ibang may stairs hindi na namin inakyat.

Nag sunsrise tour pala kami, + $3 per person. Mas ok kasi hindi mainit. Dami din nagaabang kahit ang dilim dilim pa.

Recommended din pala kumain sa Khmer Kitchen sa Old Market Area. Unli rice hehe tapos masarap yung Curry nila and yung Fried Cashew Nut something na ulam. Sulit at $4 each. Best meal I had in Cambodia. Then for dessert, we headed to The Blue Pumpkin. Nice place! 230pm pa lang wala na kaming magawa, pero 5pm kami nagpasundo sa tuktuk. Naulan pa sa labas. Di namin alam kung saan kami tatambay. But this place.. aww.. it has a cool lounge with couches.. sobrang comfortable.. daming pillows. Dami ding nakakatulog. haha perfect magsunog ng oras..

I love the relaxed feel of Siem Reap. How I wish tuktuk din ang uso dto saten kesa sa tricycle/pedicab na yung iba eh mejo masikip/mababa. And surprisingly, marami palang sosyal na hotels doon.

Sis Bebeloo, how much ang typical na food sa cambodia? Nag-allot kase ako $5 for each person each meal, kasya na ba yun? TIA

^sis sa Old Oarket sa Khmer Kitchen yung name ng resto, $4 each yung ulam namin tas unli rice na un. pero wala pa drinks. Dami kasi naming mineral water galing bou savy kaya di na kami bumili. Pero yung pinagdalhan samen ni Chenla Mao during temple tour, malapit sa mga temples yun e, $7 yung order ko parang inihaw na chicken tas 1 rice lang yun. Yung sa bf ko beef $8.5 wala pang rice! Wala namang special. Wala pa ring drinks to ah. Old Market/Pub Street area na lang kayo, mura na malasa pa!

yan lang yung kain namin sa labas. yung isang dinner kasi namin, free c/o bou savy package. tas yung isa naman, nag apsara dinner buffet kami $10 each un. tas may isa pa pala kaming dinner sa phnom penh.. bus stopover. ang mahal, $3 fried rice lang.. di naman masarap. Khmer Kitchen talaga haha sorry makaendorse naman talaga ako. ang sarap kasi e tas ang mura pa tas unli rice pa. haha

Hala, parang kulang pala yung $5 na inallot ko for food. Nag message ako sa Facebook kay Chenla Mao, di naman sumagot. Yung Apsara show naman, saan kayo nanood? I made reservations sa Koulen II restaurant. Parang directly na ako nagpareserve doon, $12? Yung Apsara show nyo ba ay c/o Bou Savy din?

Another question, sa Siem Reap airport ba ay nagbayad kayo ng airport tax? I heard $25 yun. I read sa isang blog kase but I am not sure though.

^^ Yung apsara, sa amazon angkor kami.. c/o bou savy na yun. sila na bahala sa arrangement, pati yung papunta nyo dun at pabalik. Malapit lang naman sa bou savy yun. parang sa kabilang kanto lang haha. $10 each yun, 6:30pm start ng buffet. ok naman ang food, may vietnamese, japanese, salad, pasta, noodles, coffee, desserts like mga kakanin. Pero yung drinks na iba, hindi pa kasama. Sa airport naman, wala kaming binayaran. Sa Phnom Penh border lang meron, either 20,000 VND or $1 each ang ibigay mo. Feeling ko nga, lagay lang yun.hahaha

sis @eischied_21, May 2 branch ang khmer kitchen pero it's along pub street. I think sikat naman yung place na to so alam na siguro ng mga tuktuk drivers

Yung Blue Pumpkin naman, may isa sila near Pub Street, meron din sa Airport, and meron din sila branch sa Phnom Penh.

sis sa pub street/old market area yan pareho.. lakad lakad lang kami dun. meron ding blue pumpkin sa airport pero kaya ako natuwa dito dahil dun sa mga couches na masarap tulugan, na i think wala sa airport..

may part na bawal sis. may ibang may bantay sa entrance then nakalagay dun yung mga bawal. mostly naka elephant pants yung mga tao dun. manipis lang na pants yun at maraming nagbebenta dun. ako para sure, nag leggings at tshirt na ko para at least sure ako na pwede ako sa lahat
