I just want to know your thoughts on this. I know someone who is brand-conscious but we eventually learned that she is buried in debt.  She has not paid her credit card bills and her delinquent accounts hindered her promotion at work.

I know someone na ganito. So sad kasi I heard she has children studying in top universities tapos maririnig mo siya na yung mga anak niya halos wala na siya maibigay na allowance. BUT... she still doesn't want to wear unbranded stuff AND ayaw niya mag-ulit ng damit. She's 40ish na ha and mas particular pa siya sa outfit choices than girls who are like 20years younger than her.

Anyway, back to topic. For me, kapag sinabing "sosyal", she looks rich, may natural elegance, doesn't wear cheap-looking na clothes/gamit, and maganda ang skin.

true! class and elegance (aka sosyal) are really in the mannerisms, movement/gestures and aura/air/the way they carry themselves eh. it's something you can never buy. unless siguro you enrol sa finishing school.
i look at marian's wedding pictures na nakapose siya, waley eh.

For me a sosyal woman will dress in simple black/white/grey clothes with simple classic bag.

I saw a sosyal Korean woman before, she was wearing black loose turtleneck top with black pants.
Her bag was a simple black bag with gold logo ( I think it was a chanel cerf tote).
Ganda niya kasi super puti and matangkad.

Another sosyal person for me is Yano Shiho, a top Japanese fashion model who dresses is white shifts, simple white poloe shirt with shorts but she makes it look so effortlessly elegant. Tall, slim and elegant.

^ shiho is a natural beauty (i'm a fan of return of superman ) and yes mga puti and basic lang but damn her legs are like endless!

Meron ako kilala na gustong gusto nya natatawag sya sosyal. Branded lahat gamit nya and all that pero lam mo yung kahit suot nya branded pero parang hindi branded pag tiningnan mo. Meron naman iba kahit hindi branded pag sinuot nagmumukhang mamahalin.

Yung iba nakapangasawa lang ng mayaman LOL I know, pero naman, yung post mo sa fb everytime bili ka ng branded na bag, wallet etc katawa

Nakaka awa yung mga trying hard maging sosyal na halos bilin lahat ng branded bags and make up pero kahit ano gawin eh mukhang cheap pa rin pag sha may gamit. Ayaw na lang kase magpaka simple.

For me, sosyal is how you grace the place with your presence. 'Yung tipong walang ka effort effort mag damit pero kahit naka plain lang mukha and kilos mayaman na. Nasa Aura din kasi talaga siya eh.
