pareho pala tayo sis fizzifinfun. nagtry ako today na lagyan ng 1 teaspon ng vco yung kibbles nya kinain nya! yay! feeling ko gusto niya yung smell kaya kinain nya pero nageexpect sya na i-pet ko sya namimihasa na hahaha 

kami din palit kami ng palit ng dog food kasi nga namimili sya. ang gusto nya lang pedigree eh nagresearch ako hindi pala healthy yung pedigree. ngayon nasa hollis+ic sya for puppies kasi wala ako mahanap na premuim/healthy dog food dito sa area namin

Sis picky rin ang baby ko pero pag may nakahalong boiled meat (beef, pork or chicken) sa dog food nya.. Mabilis nya maubos at titigan pa nya ko na parang sinasabi "isa pa please?" hehhee.

Try nyo po mag boil lang ng meat then ihalo sa dog food for sure kakainin nya agad un. hehe

Subscribing! Hubby and I just got married recently, and yesterday we got our little princess. Last time na nagka shih tzu ako eh when I was still in high school. Kelangan ko ng refresher. Our little baby is super cuuuute! Black sya.

Hi Sissies! Need your advice. I introduced a new shih tzu puppy in our household. He's 2 mos old pa lang. Meron na kasi kami female shih tzu na super spoiled so ngayon almost 2 weeks na hindi pa din sila mag kasundo tapos yung first dog ko hindi na nakiki-sali samin

^^I had the same problem almost a couple of years ago home when I brought home my bunso Chichi.  My panganay was sanay na magisa lang sya and she was super spoiled.  When bunso came home with us,  dedma si panganay.  She was so selosa that she couldn't even tolerate being in the same room as bunso.  Di naman sila nagaaway pero she was really avoiding the new dog.  Si bunso naman, excited makipaglaro kay panganay na hinahabol nya talaga to play.

Till one time, I sat on the floor with both of them and played with them.  hinayaan ko lang sila maghabulan until nakasanayan na nila ang isa't isa.  I also made extra effort na bigyan ng attention lagi si panganay para di na magselos.  Now, one year and two months later, di na sila mapaghiwalay. Pati sa pagtulog, gusto magkatabi sa tabi ko and sobrang harutan lagi hanggang mapagod.

Kami din sis sa kingsroad vet ko dinadala yung furbabies namin. happy kami with their service. matyaga sila sumagot sa lahat ng questions at magexplain hindi parang minamadali lang. sayang malayo ka pala

^ i think that's very normal lang sis. try mo na magplay kayong 3 then kung mag away hayaan mo lang basta hindi magkasakitan, para lang magkakilala silang dalawa. then hatiin mo yung attention mo sa kanila kasi very selosa talaga ang mga shih tzu

Hi Sis! Sa ngayon bawal sila sabay kumain. I make sure also they get same attention, yun nga lang ayaw nung older dog na bigyan ng too much attention yung isa. Super brat talaga. hahaha

Hi Sis babykat! We have the same experience. Once they tried to play, the puppy is trying to chase my older dog. Although yung older dog tumatakbo pero at least she's interacting na. Pero minsan hindi ko alam kung play pa din yun ginagawa nila. Super kulit lang nung puppy, nag bite sya kaya nagkakasakitan sila.

Hi asking for your tips.

First time magbuntis ng shih tzu namin. Less or more than a month na ata. I lost track na eh.

May nagsasabi kasi dito samin na dapat bigyan ng vitamins sa buto something calcium daw. Kailangan ba yun?

Actually 2 vitamins pinapainom nila. Ano po ba masasuggest nyo?

Sa diet naman nilagang patatas at carrots na may kanin umaga at gabi. Sa lunch no rice. Tama ba yun ginagawa namin?

Inistop namin yung dog food kasi may dermodectic mange sya na hindi naalis. Salamat pon

Hi sassy_gal18! Congrats to your new baby.

Our Shih Tzu is not taking any vitamins but we make sure that she have her complete shot of vaccines (from 5-in-1, anti rabies etc.)

For food, we also feed our shih tzu boiled patatas and carrots pero we mix it with dog food. I'm not sure kasi kung advisable yung rice sa kanya.

In case your dog has skin allergies, much better if you consult a vet. May recommended na shampoo dun, I forgot the name lang pero alam yun ng mga pet stores.

hi mga sis! I will soon have my shih tzu puppy na this coming december 20. I am so excited di na nga ko magkandaugaga sa pagsesearch ng mga basic needs niya. Honestly nga ngaun lang ulit ako bumalik dito sa forum kase I know na maraming threads here regarding pets.

so here's my question: nabasa ko once (i don't which thread ko nabasa at kung san san na ko gumala  ) na withing 3 days na mapunta sa'yo yung puppy dapat ipa-vet agad for check up. Ano bang gagawin pagkapunta dun? As in physical exam lang? or may iba pa?

by the way, dewormed na siya and may 5-in-1 vaccine na once na ibigay sakin sabi nung breeder. TIA!

Hi! I visited the vet last weekend sa Tiendesitas. Yung ginawa ng vet, kinuha yung weight nung puppy, took some stool sample sa puppy and samples inside the ear to check if may bacteria or something, tapos they checked the eyes, fur etc.

The vet will recommend the vaccination schedules on your initial check-up

Ask ko lang mga sis ok lang ba yung frontline spot on sa shih namin na preggy? Dami nya kasi kuto. Ngayon lang namim napansin kasi ang haba ng hair tapos hindi naman namin pinapalakad sa lapag. Tips naman mga sisn dapat ba kalbuhin na namin? Kaso baka ginawin naman sya. Thank you.

Yung shampoo ni Twinkle is Sergeant's Fur-So-Fresh Oatmeal Shampoo tapos naka Play Pets Dog Conditioner din sya. We make sure naka conditioner sya para wala masyado tangles. Magastos nga lang.

Before we tried human conditioner, Creamsilk. Nung una okay pero nag karon sya eventually ng skin allergies kasi matapang masyado.

Harness yung gamit namin for shih tzu kasi baka masakal pag sa neck

^^ sis, yung play pets na conditioner mo yung may detangling ba yun? okay ba sya? and how much sis yung oatmeal shampoo?

It's never a good idea to use human shampoo and conditioner on dogs kasi those products aren't made for them.  Chances are magcause ng allergies or skin problems.  I even met one guy who used Downy (!).

I use Pepe Karno on my tzus, and so far, ok sya. Mabango and soft ang fur.
