Got them but on a different event! The food is ok!!! I just dont know their set-up for weddings.... Because set-up is important in weddings of course but if you are not that particular then queensland is okay! Affordable yet food is good in quality!

Based sa co-mommy ko(mommy ng classmate ng daughter ko), ilang events na nila and napuntahan nila na queensland ang caterer and ito ang laging isyu:

Nauuna pa daw magbalot ng pagkain yung mga waiters. Even before i-serve ang food, may nakabalot na sila. And one time daw, hindi sinerve ng waiters yung ibang drinks. They thought ubos na, pero pagcheck nila, andun lang daw nakatago sa isang tabi yung isang container ng timpladong juice.

So she told me na if balak ko kunin ang queensland, make sure daw na may magbabantay sa mga food which is hassle naman. Kawawa naman yung guest ko kung magbabantay lang sya ng pagkain at mga waiters. Hehe.

Depende siguro talaga sa AE na maghahandle. i'm reading other supplier ratings na pag si Michelle ang nag handle ok ang kinakalabasan. I changed my AE to Michelle kasi wala akong confidence dun sa nauna (not gonna namedrop na lang). Everything I ask her si Michelle din tinatanungan nya, eh di kay Michelle na lang ako diba. Although pag nag meeting or detailing na kami I will raise with her yung issue ng waiters na nagbabalot ng food. Hindi pwede sa kin yun.

Last June lang sila kinuha kong caterer for my mom's 60th birthday. 2PM ang start ng event but 8am pa lang nagbaba na sila ng upuan at table sa venue. 12PM dumating naman yung truck na may dala ng food. Sa food naman, lahat ng bisita namin nasarapan naman sa food. Mali lang ako ng pili sa chicken na may white sauce tapos baked macaroni, nakakaumay na combination pala. Yung pork spareribs with bbq sauce and fish fillet cook on the spot winner! Nasarapan mga bisita. Good for 50pax lang pero ang daming tira. Naka-ilang balik pa mga bisita kase pool party yun, so imagine kada ahon sa pool kakain sila, pero ang dami talaga ng food. 3 yung naka-assign na waiter sa amin, lahat naman ok. Mabait sila, kaya binigyan ko ng tip after. 

Overall ok service nila to think sila ata may pinakamababang rate. Siguro, kailangan din kausapin yung mga waiter para maganda bigay nilang service. Dinalhan ko sila ng lunch nun kase nga ang aga nila. Syempre matetempt talaga kumain yung mga yun kung anong oras na hinde pa sila kumakain kase ang aga nila dumating. I also told them na kumain na sila after lahat ng visitor eh nakakain na.

This feb kunin namin silang caterer naman for our wedding My only problem with them is minsan matagal sumagot sa email yung AE namin. Iniisip ko magpalit ng AE, though ok naman yung AE ko ngayon pero parang gusto ko si Michelle since recommended ng mga sis natin dito. Can I get her email sis von121713 ? Do you think ok lang magpalit ng AE? Wala pa kaming contract, nagpa-ocular pa lang kami sa head waiter para sa setup ng reception venue.

I really was interested in getting Queensland at the beginning but after reading this thread, maybe not anymore.

For a company as famous as theirs, it's astounding that they only have one competent AE (Michelle).  If the only way to get good service from them is to get Michelle and have the OWNER directly supervising the reception, then that does not sound very encouraging, does it?  Ideally, they should be working well even without the owner on site, and even if Michelle is not the AE.

Thanks for all the feedback -- both good and bad.  I'm striking them off my list.

We just had our food tasting last Sunday. The food was really really good! We are all excited for our family gathering next month!

ano mga nagustuhan mo sis sa menu? I'm planning to return for the food tasting, bet na bet ko yung baked salmon pero baka pabago-bago yung lasa ng luto nila sa baked salmon.

We always get Queensland! So far I have no problems with them. Food is yummy. And affordable, portions are also big. My sister got them for her wedding in Tagaytay a lot of people liked the food and styling! My AE is Maribel.

We always get Queensland when we have gatherings and when we open new businesses. We soooooooo love their food! The AEs are very accommodating especially Arlyn, Michelle and Rhaimah. They are very knowledgeable with their services and packages kaya super bilis lang ng transaction namin with them. They will guide you sa iba pang details na hindi niyo na rin masyadong maiisip because of course busy na with all other preparations aside from the catering part. Super affordable pa ng packages and food nila kaya super loyal din ako. Even celebrities get them in their celebrations kaya sulit talaga kasi alam mong kilala sila pero di pa rin mahal. Book them mga sis! You'll love them too.

haha natawa naman ako Mr. Punch. napagkamalan mo pa akong fake. Loyal lang talaga ako sa Queensland kaya feeling ko sa mga topics dito, sa Queensland Catering ako pinaka naka-relate kasi returning customer talaga nila ako. Dito lang ako unang nag-post pero I have other posts naman after. Doon sa mga tungkol naman sa lovelife. haha hindi ko rin naman kilala yung nag-post before me so huwag na po natin siyang i-connect sa akin. Nakakahiya naman sa Queensland.

Umattend ako ng party na queensland ang caterer.grabe yung mga staff, ni-raid yung diy candy buffet. Dinaig pa bisita.  Meron pa isa na nabuking ng nagpaparty na tinatago yung tray ng mga ulam kaya daw pala parang kulang yung food. Sa staff yata sila may problema.

Mixed reviews pa din ang Queensland

I've attended 1 event na sila caterer, sarap ng food! But due to mixed reviews, mixed din ang feelings ko of getting them as my supplier for my wedding.

^ sarap ng food plus way way cheaper compare sa iba. If you were to upgrade pa sa mas mataas na package ang bongga na ng menu, like add ka lang ng 50/person may baked salmon ka na. Compare mo sa ibang caterer basic package lang yung menu nila.

Pinag-isipan namin ng matagal tong queensland hehe pero na-try na rin namin ok naman. Sa wedding namin may coordinator na naka-assign sa kanila para sure. If you will check their setup sa fb page nila maganda setup nila, elegante sya tignan. May picnic at crystal chairs din sila, gusto ko kase yung picnic chairs

^by picnic chairs, are you referring to the white chairs? kasi if oo, i would suggest against it. my friend used them for their wedding and medyo uncomfortable umupo dun kasi plastic sya and not wooden at hindi sya same ng quality dun sa nakikita namin dati sa S&R. kinda unstable din sya. lalo na kung may bisita kang on the heavy side e maiilang umupo dun. kami kasi mga payat naman pero yun mga boys mas pinili tumayo at tumambay sa gilid kesa maupo dun.

^ yes sis yung white chair... queensland din yung caterer ng friend mo? Ang expected ko na picnic chair yung kahoy di ko pa kase nakikita yung picnic chair ni queensland, pero pag plastic mag-tiffany na lang kami. Ang gusto ni h2b crystal chairs, sabi ko parang plastic na di kakayanin mga mabigat na bisita eh ganun din pala picnic chair..wag na lang..

^yup sis queensland yun. sila pa nga yata first user e kasi andun ako nun nagssetup ang QCS tapos isa isa pa nila ina unbox at alis sa plastic. actually first time ko maka experience ng ganung quality ng lily chairs kasi yun mga natry kong ganun dati whether fair man or event e sturdy naman saka stable pag inupuan mo.

parang pag nagpaputok ka ng lobo dun, malamang sa sahig ka na pulutin hehe. ganun yun feeling.
