Naku mga sissies. Not to discourage everyone, but my friend was so stressed out after her wedding last year nung kinuha nya itong supplier na to. Sa halip na mag enjoy sila ni hubby niya after wedding, nagkasakit friend ko dahil sa stress na binigay nitong caterer na ito. I've been to some of queensland event, one of those was an event ng anak ng boss ng mom ko, wedding un. And andun na lahat ng guest, wala pang naka set up or anything. Naghintay kami like two hours bago nakaupo, and sobrang nakaka shock. Imagine the bride and grooms reaction noh? They were so pissed off.
And then, as I was saying regarding my friends wedding last year, they took the most expensive package plus dun sila sa ysabel's garden mismo. Yung pasta, grabe yuck, nag tutubig na, and at the presidential table walang nag sserve ng food, and omg, sa table ng bride and groom walang utensils. And sobrang init nung lugar, sumakit ulo ko dahil sa init, supposedly hours before ng event dapat inopen na nila yung condenser, and yung pinagusapan nilang set up ng tables kulang kulang. And the fact na nagbayad sila ng extra para makuha yung gusto nung friend ko na style ng centerpiece, hindi nagawa. She told me na ilang beses pa sila pumunta dun sa opis para to make sure na magagawa yung set up na gusto nila, at the end hindi din. Ang dahilan nung nag ayos, wala daw nabili. Hello? Dahilan yun?
Also I would like to take note na hindi mo maiuuwi yung sobrang food unless na may dala yung] client na sariling lalagyan. By the way, I was observing the server the whole time because I was furious already at that time kasi nga masakit na ulo ko. They said walang provided na lalagyan ang Queensland for take out, but when the parents of the groom provided containers, biglang yung mga excess na food nawala na. Ubos na daw. Ang natira lang was yung pasta na sira na.
The waiters that served us wore untidy clothes, most wears clothes three size larger than them. They did not provide everything stated at the menu like the softdrinks and such, kasi every table may menu list (provided by the clients) ang sagot nila wala na daw, ubos na.
The backdrop for the bride and groom was fugly, they never did anything to make it appealing in a list. Just a piece of clothe hangs behind them.
Napansin ko mga ninong at ninang nag punta nalang sa buffet table dahil nga pag sserve sa kanila nung mga ilang pirasong waiter eh parang tinakal sa isang malaking plates at nilagay sa harap nila. I feel bad for my friend, kasi she planned it for almost a year, she's been making sure na maging maayos then ganun nangyari. And sa ysabel's garden pala, if you go there for venue, bawal mag pasok ng ibang sound system, so dapat yung sa kanila ang kukunin, ang nangyari sabog yung sound system, yung band na kinuha ng friend ko hindi makapag play ng maayos dahil sira sound system nila. The music na they prepared pa, hindi ma play nung sound system for unknown reason, kaya yung mga songs na pinili nila hindi napa tugtog, at the end kung whatever lang meron available na music dun, un lang ang ginamit.
They also paid extra for spotlight and other lights, but grabe nangangapa ka sa dilim dahil walang halos ilaw na provided, yung sa table ng bride and groom walang ilaw, if hindi sila inilawan nung mga photographer hindi sila makakakain.
I was very upset for her, cause the bride is one of my very close friend.
They paid whatever the caterer asked, pero ganun yung service. Kinuha nya yung caterer na yun kasi the food was good daw, I told her about the previous experience I had with it, pero sabi nya baka isolated case lang daw, pero un, nangyari sa kanila dun pa mismo sa venue ng Queensland. I don't recommend Queensland, unless you wanted to take risk.
I also got married last year, but thank God I never experienced this. Make sure talaga na okay yung kukunin nyung mga supplier, sometimes hindi sa ganu kamahal yungsupplier eh, the important thing is walang maraming bad record para atleast walang headache after.
Queensland Catering? SUper duper thumbs down.
If people would wonder if I'm bashing them, yes I am. Such catering should not even received a business permit if you were to ask me. Better to go sa may mga pangalan na kesa headache and stress during your special event. Suggestion lang. Still, the decision parin is nasa inyo.
