Good news to our sisters here who are Pru Life UK policy holders

Pru Life UK ranked first in ASEAN corporate governance scorecard for PH insurance (see details here:  https://www.prulifeuk.com.ph/en/our-company/press-releases/2018/pru-life-uk-ranks-first-in-asean-corporate-governance-scorecard-for-ph-insurance/)

PruLink Asia Pacific Equity Index minimum investment pala is 1M single pay. Too expensive for me. Whereas equivalent in Sun is only 150k and Security Bank is 2000usd

Pangarap ko pa rin ito dahil taas ng premium. May new packages kaya sila lalo nagka local endorser for the first time via LIza.

Muntik na ko mag Prulife agent, ok at kilala din naman siya ang pinaka malaki ang commission, but then mas believer ako ng sunlife interms of after service, claims and performance, so dun ako nagsign up and nag financial advisor kasi goal ko din naman is to purchase multiple policy for myself/my family.

Sis Rory_Lorelie_Gilmore, okay na okay naman.  ;) Pwede kita i-refer sa agent ko. Nabasa ko sa isang thread na parang ikaw pa yung naghahabol eh. Pero mostly online lang din siya. 34,172 annual 15 years to pay siya. Natuwa ako kasi naihabol pa nila bago nagbirthday yung asawa ko last Saturday. Kasi recently lang kami nagka-extra.  ;D

I used to have Philam VUL, after 10yrs I pulled out kasi 10% lang ang kinita.  I felt that it was too low given na nung kumuha ako nung 2008, the market was really down.  So, I shifted.  But I'm still maintaining my term insurance with them which I got when I was 21 yo.

^sorry Pru Life thread pala ito...

^I agree, actually maski san yan ang feedback na naririnig ko, kaya mag focus daw muna sa term for coverage, tapos mag invest nalang on our own.

for me depende talaga sa performance ng company. because with my sunlife 40k annual ako pero yung kita nya sa investment part is 30k sa 1st yr tapos 50k after 2 yrs. monitored ko talaga since may online naman sila. I think best investment ko to kasi I have my own mutual funds and stocks pero iba talaga kapag professional yung nagmamanage ng pera, kasi kung ako lang hindi ganun kaganda returns ng stocks and mutual funds ko. tapos insured pa. After sunlife I plan to get prolife naman, anyone who can share yung returns nila.

^I have a client who invested 1M in Prulink Equity Fund and earned 16% after 2 years.

With regards naman with BTID strategy, depende sa client kasi if you really have the discipline to save and invest on your own, why not but unfortunately madaming hindi disiplinado magsave and mag allot ng time to study different investment vehicles out there so some of my clients despite me teaching them on basic stock market strategies ended up getting another plans from me with minimal coverage to maximize the returns of their investment kasi dahilan nila mas madali with me kasi I monitor their investments, I remind them their goals kasi we do policy review every year at saka automated yung savings nila kasi either auto debit or credit card mode of payment kumbaga no choice na but to save no excuses like next month na lang kasi may outing kami etc. Some of my clients are so open with me they even let me check their emergency funds kung ok na, asked me if they can afford na to buy a car etc so my advice would always be, get an advisor who will really motivate you to reach your goals, yung tipong well rounded hindi lang VUL ang alam niya. If you find someone like that, BTID man strategy mo or not, with the right financial planning and right advisor, magiging successful ka sa pagsave :)

Sis, 2500 USD ang minimum ng Asia Pacific Equity Fund ng Pru Life UK. That's around 130k with the current exchange rate. This minimum amount is available under a  single pay VUL product called PruLink Investor Account Plus.  You can put the following riders into this plan: (1) Total and Permanent Disability (2) Additional Term Rider (3) Personal Accident

Equity fund in peso is available for all regular VUL and single pay VUL. Minimum for single pay is 100k. Hope this helps.
