Guys ok ba mag-stay sa ikebukuro? Specifically sakura hotel ikebukuro? Cost efficient ba to stay don?

^ I booked Keio Plaza too for our upcoming trip because of its proximity to the train station, free Disney shuttle, stopover siya ng airport limousine bus and the pick-up bus going to Hakone is also nearby.  Perfect location for us.  I availed their MasterCard promo "stay 3 nights, get 4th night free" kasi malaking savings din iyon.

Did you book the Disney shuttle in advance?  I read some comments in Trip Advisor that the shuttle also gets full and you need to book it ahead by reserving it through the hotel.

yes. you need to book the disney shuttle atleast 2 days before yung planned date ng punta nyo. we booked upon check-in, yung original planned date namin wala nang available slot so we moved the next day. they have 4 scheduled trips daily. yung 2nd trip ang pinaka-ok kasi not too early. it's 10am ata or 10:30 (forgot ko na).

You can see the Tokyo skyline in Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. The first tower is open until 5pm the other one is open until 11pm and is for free. I suggest you go up here rather Tokyo Sky tree or Tokyo Tower.

Oks naman sa Ikebukuro though not much tourist spots ok naman mga kainan dun. Meron Ippudo. Alam ko Mo's burger meron rin ata.

Guys, ask ko lang sobrang dami ba talaga ng tao sa disneyland pag weekend? Kasi ang dating namin sa tokyo ay oct 23 (thursday) so friday and saturday sana ang disneyland and disney sea namin.. mas ok ba kung gawin namin na oct 24 (friday) disney sea oct 25 (saturday)? Saan ba mas madami pumupunta? I'm planning as early as now para maayos iti namin.. hehe. Thanks

I am planning to return after I fell in love with this country early autumn last year. Since I have done Kyoto and Osaka last time, this time Tokyo, Fuji-san and Nikko naman. I still want to go back to Kansai Region for the other places that I haven't seen though. And maybe visit Handai in Osaka na din. Bonggang backreading ito. I am thinking of March next year or maybe December this year. I want to stay longer this time.

lagi namang maraming tao. mas matao sa disneyland than disney sea. mas malaki kasi and madami rides sa disneyland.

both disneyland and disney are crowded lalo weekends. expect  to wait for 2-3 hours for a 5 minute ride. try to go on weekdays. minsan kahit friday matao din.

Does anyone know if there is a restriction against bringing in of dried fish (tuyo, dilis, danggit) to Narita airport? Special request kasi ito ng tita ko. Sobrang namimiss na raw niya.

wala naman sis as long as maayos pagkaka-store mo nito sa baggage mo.
Ako ang ginagawa ko, binabalot ko sa newspaper then  plastic saka ko ipapasok sa Tupperware.

^^ just make sure it's properly sealed and nasa checked-in luggage. Get the ones in vacuum packs (or have them vacuum-sealed) para di mangamoy pati mga damit mo. And same with ^, wrap it in newspaper. I usually wrap it pa in plastic or big ziplocs after mabalot ng newspaper.

^^super init at humid sis. mas matindi pa sa pinas.

^sis lately naghigpit yata sila regarding food. iplastic mo na lang mabuti. may pinapaikot kasi na dog para maka-detect ng food. parang pinagbabawal na kasi yata nila. and choose the customs officer. meron kasi nagbubukas talaga. okay yung sabi ni sis j in tokyo. idoble mo na lang packaging

Yap tama sobra ang humid sa Japan but i love Disney Japan bitin kasi last na punta namin. Ang dami tao.
