Nako naman ang tagal pala ng visa application sa Italy and puro horror stories. I'm just wondering, pwede kaya i-tweak ko nalang yung itinerary ko let's say 4 days in France tapos 3 days in Italy para sa French Embassy ako mag-apply ng visa? When in truth sa Italy lang talaga ako pupunta, for visa application's sake lang. Kasi sobrang squeezed nako sa time, antagal pala mag-release ng Italy

My friend did that, although, they will go to Paris din naman. Kaso lang, fewer days sila talaga dun. Her travel agent made their itineraries, pinalabas mas matagal sila dun.

Hi fellow GTs! I just received my UK visa (EEA Family Permit) since my husband in an Irish national. Next is Schengen Visa. Can I also apply for the same category? I can't seem to find any information about EEA Family permit for Schengen Visa, we'll be applying at the French Embassy.

Hi sis! Congrats sa UK visa. Yes, schengen has the same thing.  Actually in my experience mas okay ang schengen, no restriction. Like I was issued 6 months by the Spanish embassy,  it says 'spouse of an irish citizen.' Free din but I was able to use that visa when I went to Paris by myself. With my UK family permit kasama ko dapat or i-meet ko si hubby sa UK.

Less documents din if spouse of an EU citizen.

Dont use 'EEA Family Permit' to search for schengen dahil baka residency permit lumabas sa search. The French website should have information re: tourist visa for spouse of EU/EEA national.

hello sisses...i'm scheduled for interview on Apr 20 sa German Embassy.. yung travel agency ng company namin nag ayos and that's the earliest they could get... I will be on business trip and I'm supposed to leave on Apr 25... hay, possible kaya marelease before Apr 25?

hello mga sis! mag travel kami ng family ko sa Switzerland this April. Ang nakuha naming visa is single entry. And we want sana na magpunta sa Paris by train. Is it ok lang ba kahit single entry? TIA

Hi! How will one know if denied ng Spanish embassy yung visa application? Is there a refusal letter provided and what's stamped on the passport? I'm asking for my mother who applied for a visa. TIA.

yehey, i got my Visa today... delivered in our house   I had my interview last Apr 21 lang, around 11:30 am at the Embassy (Germany)... mabilis lang interview parang wala pang 10 minutes... then sabi sakin 'we're done, you'll get your passport in 3 to 5 days..'  di ko alam nun kung pasado na ba.. unlike sa US Visa na once they get your passport, sure na na pasado ka... kasi pag denied, di na nila kukunin ang passport mo... i was really surprised to received my passport with Visa today, parang 2 working days lang

How long is the processing of a French embassy now for visa?

Hi. The turnaround time from appointment to the actual visa release should take no more than 1 month. The French embassy has always been our go-to embassy for our Europe trips kasi madali silang kausap.

Hi mga sis, I just recently got our UK visa and thinking of doing a sidetrip to Paris. Do you think 100k show money is enough for two for three day? Meaning, bayad na ang airfare and hotel. Bale food, entrance fee and transpo nalang. Do you think we have a chance?

Went for my appointment today, will get my passport back next Wednesday and I am leaving on the 13th! Super photo finish haha

It's faily easy and good thing that the masungit guy isn't there anymore.

hi po sis gorgeousgail! sorry sa late reply. Kakabalik lang namin from travel. Sa Dubai kami nagapply ng visa since dito kami based. Nagsubmit kami ng requirements as per the Checklist ng VFS Global: Flight ticket, Passports with Residence visa page, 3 Months Bank Statement, Travel Insurance, Hotel Booking and No Objection Letters from our Companies.

Madali lang yung release sis nung sa amin. On the 5th day nakuha na namin yung Passports namin.

Hi Ladies! We, together with my husband and father, submitted our Italy Visa Application in VIA last April 24 and just today my Mom called and said a letter arrived asking us to come back. I haven't read the letter yet but sensing this is for an interview. The only weird thing is my husband is not included. Does anyone here have the same experience?

My family is currently planning on joining a eastern europe trip thru our church ( pilgrimage). Im kinda stress since im not currently emplyed due to medical concerns.  My mom is funding the entire trip. Im jus worried na medyo red flag ako and my bro since we are both single  unemployed but we do manage our aparttment and condo rental business. Can you pls advise me if ano pa other docu,ents we can present. In terms of travel history we have been to Japan, israel, thailand, malaysia, hk, macau, vietnam. Hoping someone could give some advise we really want push this trip.

hi girls,, i just wanted to check. hubby and i are planning to go on a trip to paris, bruges and amsterdam in november. very short trip lang but it's gonna be our first time in europe. i did most of the research na and I'm hoping we can get an interview schedule from the french embassy (since we will be staying longest in paris) on august (trip is supposed to be on the 1st week of november). i want to get the visas over and done with soonest sana para i can confirm all bookings agad laluna pag mas lumalapit ang travel date mas nagmamahal ang lahat. anyway, i called the french embassy today, pero sabi sa kin try ko daw tawag last week of june for august schedule. okay lang ba yun sisses? nabasa ko kasi before, may times na pag tumawag today, mga 2 months pa bago makakuha sched... mabilis lang ba if ever sisses? thank you!

Next month we will file visa application in Italian Embassy. kinakabahan ako ang dami horror stories sa italian embassy. Wala kami iba schengen country pupuntahan kundi italy lang talaga.

Question regarding application since husband ko mag sponsor sa trip namin ano ilalagay ko sa application form ko sa cost of travelling by herself or by sponsor (ilalagay ko name ng asawa ko)?

@silveronfire: Ok lang 'yan sis. I never had to wait for more than a month for visa scheduling at the French embassy. Nag-apply ako ng May (for trip on the same month) and October (for a November trip). Hindi naman ako kinapos sa oras.

On the contrary, mas mura kong nakuha 'yung flight ko less than a week before my flight compared to what I've researched before my visa was released!  Blessing in disguise 'yun. Sa dami ng available flights going to Europe, hindi naman masyadong aang presyo ng tickets. HOWEVER, rail tickets is another story! 'Yung 19 euros nagiging 49 euros in a few days, depende sa seat availability. What I did was, binook ko na 'yung mga train transfers kahit wala pa 'yung visa.
