^Siguro matandaan kayo if kinabukasan yung balik ninyo to apply.    Seriously though unless you really made an impression on her or she has a photographic memory hindi kayo matatandaan since andami nilang pinaprocess na applicants.

If ever naman na matandaan kayo, you can always tell her na you changed your mind and decided to extend your stay in France. Dapat yung IT ninyo with corresponding docs should support your revision then.

Hi,
is it better to appeal a refused tourist visa or just reapply if you are presenting additional documents. (French Embassy)
I'm just afraid the appeal might take too long and i would miss my scheduled travel date which i cant change anymore as I'll be going with friends.

reason for refusal was the uncertainty of leaving Schengen territory before the expiry of visa. I think this was because my cert of employment is from a new month old job, and i didnt have ITR yet for this.
when asked about proof of my revenues, i didn't have a previous ITR to show. I'm planning to apply or re-appeal i just don't know which is better. planning to present ITR for the previous year and other supporting docs that might help. i was careless thinking the bank statements would be enough to prove my stability in this country.

who here recently applied at the Italian embassy and used airbnb/roomarama bookings? Do they accept it? I know the French embassy does. It's my first
time to apply for a schengen visa kasi thats why I'm kinakabahan.

I also read somewhere that if Italy isn't your point of entry but your main destination, you must go to the police station or something to have some papers signed at your point of entry. Is this applicable to ALL applicants as long as your Italy isn't your point of entry but only your main destination/longest stay?

Hi! It wasn't at the Italian Embassy but I also used Airbnb bookings for my UK application. I included my conversation with the Airbnb host of my chosen apartment plus Airbnb's About Page, just in case the embassy officer doesn't know about Airbnb.

Also anyone knows if it's necesassary to first obtain a transit visa to my next destination after
the schengen state? we will be arriving in Prague then leaving in Amsterdam tapos we'll fly to Dubai
and spend a couple of days there before returning to Manila. Do I need to get a Dubai visa first before I apply for a schengen? 2 months lang kasi ang validity ng dubai visa from the time of approval and I've been issued one before. One week lang may result na. Since Dubai would be our last destination in our 31 day trip baka mag expire kasi yun since if i apply that first before the schengen visa.

Wow!!! Thanks mrs. sweet. We'll just lodge our application at Itakian Embassy. Good thing they have this online appointment already. Now, we just have to redo our letters as it is addressed to the French Consulate. Nakakapraning tong waiting game na 'to.

I think sis melodymedley reapplied the first time she applied for a Schengen visa. She got a visa on her reapplication.

Bank statements prove you can afford your trip, but they don't prove you will come back. That's why they need to see you have a stable job here.

vain kixie, italian embassy won't look for your uae visa but if you have it, good to show as well. or maybe show them your bookings there.

So I googled and found this from the Embassy of Austria:

Q.29   I am travelling from a Schengen country to a Non-Schengen country on this trip. To apply for a Schengen visa, do I require the visas for Non-Schengen countries, which I am also visiting on this trip, first to be issued on my passport?
Ans   Yes. The visa for the destinations after the Schengen countries has to be obtained first if you do not return to a Schengen country. If you return from a Non-Schengen country to a Schengen country during your trip and return to your home country [or to a country for which no visa is required] from a Schengen country, the Schengen visas will be issued first.

But then again that's according to the Embassy of Austria and not Italy.

jenger109 You have to submit similar requirements like sa adult, proof of funds (that's your bank statements) etc. When my nephews (10 and 4) visited me here in Dublin, my mom submitted school certificate as proof that they are studying in the Philippines and you need to get DWSD clearance for them to travel. not sure if there are additional documents dahil kids lang ang magta-travel. Sa DSWD, nakalagay dun kung sino kasama magtravel ng bata.

Separate din ang application ng 2 pamangkin ko so all common documents like bank statements, naka-photocopy. Hope these help!

Question lang po regarding Travel Insurance. Sa mga online application, pag tinanong ang travel period, idadagdag ko na ba agad ng 15day allowance? o yung buong travel period lang namin? Thanks!

you have to include additional 15 days to your intended travel period.
Thats the requirement of embassies. So kung 15 days kayo sa schengen area, you must purchase
travel insurance good for 30 days.

^I don't remember the embassies (French, Austrian and German where I have experienced applying) requiring an additional 15 days coverage on top of the intended days of travel. I had to look it up again and there is no requirement naman. All the embassy requires is a full (medical/repatriation) travel insurance of your entire travel dates and a minimum of EUR30,000 coverage.

I think the confusion on this came about with some travelers like myself giving some allowance in case of any delays. My practice is I always give between 2-5 days allowance at the end of my travel date for any eventuality.

Better to consult directly with the embassy where you intend to file your application to be sure.

^sis, I guess it would depend on the embassy where you would be applying. Kasi why would they blog about that 15 day allowance di ba? Baka naman sa case nila ni-require sila? But in my experience sakto lang talaga sa travel dates ang coverage ng travel insurance na required. Ako na lang mismo ang nagbibigay ng allowance ng 2-5 days.

What embassy are you planning to apply? Check mo na lang the first page for the links to the embassies for the travel insurance requirement para sigurado ka.

Hello.... Anybody here having challenges filling up the form from Italian Embassy? Ang liliit kasi ng spaces lalo na sa list ng hotels and their addresses na. Any tips? Either I print it on 8x14 parang hindi talaga kasya yung 4 hotels at address pa! Help? Salamat!!!
