i can pm you ms dinah's number.

^ @m_lim  hayz yan din prob ko.  pero ako is usually 30 minutes in one breast.  kumbaga hintay ko sya bumitaw.  2 months old na baby ko and hindi ko pa ren alam ano dapat.  minsan pag pinadede ko sya sa right side, then the next time and sa right ko pa ren sya pinadede (sanay kasi ako sa right side), ililipat ko sya after some minutes sa left para mas maraming gatas.

^^ @akiteklea  nung sa hospital ako, may nag-aassist ren sa akin.  ang problem ko lang, everytime na punta ako sa breastfeeding station, either busog na si baby, or tulog sya and di sya magising gising dahil hindi pa sya kakain, although time na nya kumain.  nung pag-uwe namin from hospital, nung nagkaron na ako ng milk after pumping, i tried na diretso sa breast and buti naman, hindi ako masyadong nahirapan.  ako ang may problem hindi si baby.  kasi hindi ako marunong humawak ng baby na ibreabreastfeed.  dami nakikialam sa akin na dapat ganyan and ganun ang hawak.  i ended up learning how to hold my baby... my way.

ask ko po... anyone had tried Malungai Life Oil?  I'm on my 3rd day.  Not sure kung dumami milk ko, siguro konti.  Pero not sure kung may kinalaman sa Malungai Life Oil, parang napansin ko kasing laging tulog baby ko.  As in nakakatulog siya mag-isa minsan, wherein hindi nangyayari before.  Baby ko is 2 months old.

and ilan dapat itake per day?

pag newborn ba ganon katagal dapat i breastfeed?

15 mins per breast or hanggang mag sawa?

Up to sawa because you are trying to establish your supply and baby needs you.

matagal ka na ba hindi nagpupump? normal yan if you've been doing direct feed for quite some time tapos nagtry ka magpump :)

congrats sa mga bagong panganak :)

Charmed_one, yan rin ang alam ko ok lang naman if meron mainom kahit konting blood, shouldn't really be a major safety hazard. don't worry newborns can thrive on merely colostrum lang for up to 5 days

I read on line (nashare ko din sa kabilang thread) that pumping should only be done after 6 weeks to avoid over or under production of breastmilk supply daw.   Direct feeding daw kasi stabilizes breastmilk supply based on what your baby needs. Any thoughts, sisses?

^yes this is true. lagi naman namemention dito na direct feeding talaga is the best way to establish milk supply and pumping early is not advisable kasi introducing the baby to the bottle too early can cause nipple confusion.

Pano kaya yun.

^try pumping ng madaling araw (around 2-6am ideally) dyan kasi ang peak ng milk output usually ng moms or pump ka before you feed baby. you can pump mga atleast 1-2x/day lang if your purpose is just to have something to give baby if you're out.

^^if we think about it, mas matrabaho pag formula fed baby 'coz you still need to get up in the middle of the night to make some milk, also you need to wash and sterilize the bottles frequently. unlike in breastfeeding where you can just do side lying position just to feed baby :)

^babies cry for a lot of reasons not just because they're hungry. giving your baby formula milk will make your supply drop. there's no other way to boost your milk supply except to direct feed ang STOP giving formula
