^ sunway lagoon is about 15 mins from KL city centre by taxi.  malapit lang naman siya sis pero yong nga lang, usually transport is taxi.  me taxi stand naman sa tapat ng Sunway Pyramid so babayaran mo na agad don sa kiosk yong fare.

pareho naman nasa bukit bintang yong 2 hotels sis and sa map, nasa gitna nila ang monorail station ng Bukit bintang.  nadadaanan ko na ata ang Piccolo.  I wont be able to really tell alin sa dalawa ang ok.  pero check mo reviews sa tripadvisor.  usually kasi sa Sky hotel sa bukit bintang ang nirerecommend ko kasi napasok ko na rin siya.

sis, pag andito ka sa KL, be ready sa mahaba habang lakaran talaga.  lahat ng places dito nalalakad lang, basta matyaga ka maglakad.  though me mga free KL bus naman, or monorail, pero traffic kasi around KL city area e esp. Fridays.

thanks for replying. i'll check which hotel has better reviews. ayaw kase ng hubby ko maglakad, e pag taxi around city sayang naman, baka maloko kami, kaso we have a child with disability so baka not an option lakarin yung mga places na sinasabi mo. e ayaw ko naman mag dala pa ng stroller coz 7 na cya, he can walk but not too far. hmm, just like hk, gusto ng hubby ko nasa baba ng hotel mtr na agad.

sayang nga talaga sis pag taxi within the city, lage pa naman traffic around here.  ok naman mag-commute sa mga LRT/monorail, then of course best place nga talaga is bukit bintang area.

Sis phurple, is it true yung mga Go KL free bus rude ang drivers? kase may option ako to stay near the bus stops para we can just ride these free buses. kaso nabasa ko sa reviews daming drivers rude daw tapos minsan hinde nag stop sa mga stations, nilalagpasan yung mga stations. i'm really hoping you can give some input re: go kl bus. thanks!

^^ sis, di pa ko actually sumasakay ng Go KL bus, hehe.. pero la naman ako naririnig na ganong comments sa mga ka-officemate ko na sumasakay don.  kahit sa pinoy din na officemate ko na araw araw sumasakay la naman comment.  ok nga daw e.

^ regarding HOHO bus, para di mo na problemahin ang transpo in going to the tourist places here, i'd say, yes, it's practical.  kasi yong HOHO ticket naman valid din ng 24 hrs.

^ walang separate thread sis.  pero meron ng isa sa mga sisses dito nagtanong non about melacca at nakapunta din sila.  i forgot anong thread siya nakapost pero one of our sisses posted in her blog also.  or you can try to google sa google philippines on melacca.  for sure meron lalabas non.

^ as far as i know, walang for rent dito kasi usually mura lang naman mga pocket wifi.  then some more all mobile networks here provide mobile internet already.  maybe you can just buy a sim card (like the tourist edition of hotlink), me free international text na siya, me mobile internet access na rin ata,etc.

walang pocket wifi but you can buy sim if wifi accessible ang phone mo.. mura lang naman ang rates

ingat lang sa malaysia sobrang dami magnanakaw, snatcher and riding in tandem.. so be alert at wag magtiwala

Hi sis phurple0515, we'll be arriving in kl on may 17 around 1030pm from Legoland via Transnasional Coach. Habulin namin mag picture taking sa petronas before checking in at Rainforest. Whats the best way to go to KL Sentral from TBS? From KL Sentral I read that we can take the LRT Kelana Jaya line to KLCC.

For May 18, plan namin is Batu Caves at 830 then shopping and early lunch at Central Market. Tapos Low Yat, Sungai Wang, H&M, Pavilion Mall. 5pm KL Sentral to LCCT for our 855pm flight back to Manila. How do we go to Central Market from Batu Caves?

^If you are in TBS, you can take the KLIA transit then diretso na yon to KL sentral. 

Sis sisiyu, nalito ako sa sinabi mo, magkaiba ang KLCC sa KL sentral ha.   Kaya ang sinabi is going to kl sentral. 

from Batu caves, take the train tapos baba ka na ng Kuala Lumpur station.  From there meron na connecting walkway to Central Market via the Central Market (PAsar Seni) LRT station.

^ marami sis around Chinatown area and Bukit Bintang area.  Yong friend ko non sa Fernloft Hostel siya sa Chinatown.  Pero you can check other places as well.

Ask ko lang extended ba yung sale sa mga mall like vnc and the like ng January? or meron bang another sale?  Meron pa bang pwedeng puntahan. I've been to putrajaya, batu caves legoland, genting highlands and hk land na kasi.  Sulit ba magpunta sa mellaca? Mura lang kasi fare kaya naisip ko bumalik and right after the wedding ko kasi yun.  Pero more on after ako sa sale. Ok ba ang sunway lagoon pala?

When we went to KL last Jan, marami pang stores ang nakasale Vincci included.
