mga sis sino ang most unforgettable teacher/s nyo and why???

ako yung adviser ko nung grade 6, nag kwento sya ng story about one of her student who became successful and hinanap sya to give her a gift. Then she told us that when we become successful she will be happy for us and huwag namin sya kalimutan.

Since then sinabi ko sa sarili ko na gsuto ko maging successfula and hahanapin ko sya talaga so that I can give her something din as a gift kasi she inspire me and talagang nag day dream ako nung sabihn nya yun na hahanapin ko sya to tell her naging buhay ko and that she is happy for me. hehe!!!
anyway, nung nagka trabaho na ako nakikibalita ako kung saan sya nakatira but nobody knows na so hinahanap ko sya sa fb but di ko sya makita even yung anak nya na classmate ko dati...but she does really inspire me in life and i know she will be happy for me.

my grade one teacher who's my kumare now kahit nanay ang tawag ko sa kanya at anaki ang tawag nya sa akin...

Since OFW ang mama ko sya talaga ang naging nanay ko sa school she used to tell stories na tumatak talaga sa isip ko...since malaking bulas ako kaya mukha akong grade 6 nung gr.1 ako hehe sya laging nagtatanggol pa-inaasar ako...now second third mom ko na sya di kase successful ang marriage nya wala din syang anak since mataas ang sugar level nya...ninang sya ng anak hehe

My third year accounting teacher na napakaganda despite having five children and matalino talga..sya is buddy buddy namin ng mga girlfriends ko and super close sya sa akin...nagkaa-way pa nga kami ng elementary BFF ko dahil sa kanya,she always wishes us to be successful...kya nung nabuntis ako while studying talagang nalungkot sya but now she's proud of me in my own craft and as a mom...di ko makakalimutan how she cried nung graduation ko....talagang center of kaguluhan kami nun hehe...

unforgettable teacher ko.. yun elementary science teacher ko... pinalabas kasi ko ng classroom sa kadahilan wala akong excuse letter nun umabsent ako nun... nakakahiya talaga nun.napahiya [textspeak!] ako huhuhu..

We (yes, the whole class probably) had a few na unforgetable pero yung nag-iisang ito ang pinakamaraming experiences na pinagdaanan ang class namin na tawa pa rin kami ng tawa everytime naaalala namin. this is in a public school by the way.

Grade 5 teacher.

- gusto nya kasi kapag nagbabasa, with matching emotions. A girl classmate said Inay! Inay!  (pababa yung tune lalo na sa 2nd inay) so pinaulit ulit nya hanggang sa umiiyak na yung classmate ko. worst is, pinalabas nya, dun sa may stage sa front ng classroom namin pinasigaw ng INAY! INAY! si classmate na umiiyak na talaga. so para syang baliw dun. di naman kami makatawa kasi takot kami baka isunod kami pasigawin.

- during lunchtime, naabutan nya naglalaro yung mga classmates ko na cleaner sa recreation room. yung mga hoola hoop projects yung naabutan nya, ang ending, before mag start yung isang subject, lahat ng nahuli na naglalaro, nag hoola hoop sila sa harap ng class at hindi lang basta basta, yung kung ano yung nahuli na ginagawa mo, yun ang gagawin mo so yung iba, meron sa leeg pinapaikot, sa arms, sa paa.

- this one classmate, napag tripan nya mag toss ng coin during class, nakita sya ni teacher kaya pinatayo sya sa may door at nag toss sya ng nag toss ng coin hanggang mag-uwian.

-yung isa naman, nagkukuyakoy during class. nahuli din. ending, pinaupo sya sa window at dun nagkuyakoy. (lumang style na classroon, yung may silong na mababa)

-sa grooming naman, ng hindi nagpapagupit si guy classmate, pinaupo sya sa harap ng class during a lecture at nakapatong ang coconut husk sa ulo nya.

-70 or 80% ang passing every test. short quiz man or periodical. kung ilan yung kulang sa passing grade, yung ang palo sayo. so paminsan, pila balde kami sa paluan lalo na kung mahirap yung test. lol


these were years ago early 90's pa so some might say na ang strict, etc etc. but as we know, during those days eh hindi naman nagrereklamo ang parents. but having experience those, nakaaaliw at nakakatuwang i-reminisce lalo na kapag nagkikita kami ng mga old classmates ko.

Grade 2 adviser- super sungit! kala ko tatandang dalaga kasi tipong pinapalipad notebooks and books namin pag galit sya. shocker, nahanap nya ko sa FB and she's happily married with 2 cute girls hehe akalain mo

2nd year HS adviser- well sya na pinakakawawang teacher ko ever. pinapagtripan ng classmates ko, niloloko, inuuto... lahat na ata ng sakit sa ulo ng advisory class nya ginawa sa kanya. naaawa ako sa kanya pero now, she's also happily married and may kids na rin. good for her.

4th year English teacher- siya ang idol ko kasi sa kanya ako natuto ng English. bopols ako dati sa English till she was my teacher. andami kong learnings and insights na napulot sa kanya. tsaka strikto at kwela sya at the same time.

Project Management prof- ibang level ang kag@guhan ni sir! lahat ng kalokohan naiiintegrate sa klase. sa kanya ko natutunan ang Pegasus at kung anuano pa. at wala syang inuuno ever at midterms nya lahat ng studyante nya from the past up to the present bagsak sa sobrang hirap. pero wala ako gano natutunan sa kanya e, more on tawa lang. pero ma-L si sir. para makuha namin yung tres from No Grade na binigay nya samin pending for 2 years, kailangan namin magpasexy ng feasib mates ko habang nakikiusap sa grade lol. tawag sa students nya na pumasa: "*insert prof's surname here* survivors" haha!

There are a lot:

2nd grade reading teacher - I forgot her name pero she was so sungit. One time i was talking to my seatmate about 'pocket pretties' and she scolded me publicly saying 'I thought you were smart? Smart people are not very talkative'. Echosera.

Ms Iroy (3rd grade Math teacher) - She scared the hell out of me especially everytime she would bring out the multiplication flash cards and would call out on random people. 

Mrs. Santos (prefect of discipline, 4th grade) - She became a good friend of my parents. When my dad passed away and I went back to school, pinatawag nya ko sa office nya to ask how I was doing. I was surprised when she broke down in front of me, tapos I started crying too. She told me that I was going to be fine. She left our school after a few years. When I started working, my lesbian friend's girlfriend died because of myoma. I went with her sa wake and I found out na daughter pala ni Mrs Santos yung girlfriend nya . I didnt introduce myself anymore, I didnt know kung maaalala nya pa ko.

Mrs Baguingay (English teacher , 3rd year hs) - She was a terror teacher but I was one of her favorites mostly because I did well in her class. She was mean but she inspired me a lot. She passed away in the 2nd quarter of our school year, a few months after our class adviser passed away

Mr Pangilinan  (Calculus teacher, 4th year) - I will never forget him. He was a very good (and gay) Calculus professor but boy was he a terror one too. He gave me good grades from 1st-3rd grading but gave me a 79 on the 4th quarter cus I had difficulties in Integration. It was my first line of 7 and I cried because I was never informed that my grades went down, diba dapat may PTA ganyan.

Ms Galura (Public Speaking, Marketing, and Public Relations professor) - When I was at the crossroads, deciding whether to stay in BS Accountancy or move to AB Comm Arts, she interviewed me. She asked me why I chose Accountancy in the first place and why I was contemplating on shifting courses. She told me that she thought I was suited for Comm Arts and wrote down the major subjects she thought I should take up first, one of those was Public Speaking. She was one of my constant supporters and believers when I was in college. She also gave me perfect grades on all the subjects I had with her

Sir Ballesteros (Journalism professor) - I remember admiring him so much because of his extensive work experience and knowledge in the field. He also brought back my love for writing. I will never forget him because he gave me a grade of '6' in Journalism when our highest grade is a '5'. 6's usually go through a defense panel in my school before it can be given to students

I had once that is not transparent when it comes to grades.  I asked for a retake exam and she never gave it, when I took summer, I passed and got a high grade... Then I found out she marked passed on a very lousy student who has much a lousy grade than me and with an attitude... How come she pass?  It's politics..  The student has connections...  I tried to fight for the transparency yet they took more of the Prof's reputation.  Old school BS excuses.

my 6th grade teacher, she died during the school year (illness).

naalala ko na palagi kame magkatabing manood sa tuwing pinapasayaw nya  mga boys ng kanta ng Hagibis. ako lang girl ang naiiwan pra manood.
ako favorite nya dahil siguro  magka bday kame. And noong nag abroad siya napadalhan pa nya ako ng bday card. ang sweet!

2nd year hs teacher. galit na galit sya sakin dahil lagi ako late at nagcutting pa ako ng araw na yun dahil binalikan ko sa bahay yung assignment na pinagpuyatan ko para maisubmit ko ng hapon. haha. pinalabas pa nya ako ng classroom tapos di ako nakapasok ng ilang days. nakabalik ako nung nagkausap sila ng nanay ko. at pagbalik ko, gusto pa nya akong saktan. may mga teacher lang talagang abnormal. akala siguro nun ako yung tipong di makakatapos ng pag-aaral. pakain ko kaya sa kanya yung prc license ko. 10 years nang lumipas, di ko pa rin sya napapatawad. haha.

nung grade 3 ako.. si Ms Plantilla, mali lang pag bigkas ko ng word na "shrimp" bigla ba naman i announce sa class na may speech disorder ako.. buuset

Ms. Osorio. She was my kinder 1 teacher/adviser.

I will never forget her because one time, I badly wanted to visit the loo. So what I did, I approached her desk and told her about me wanting to poop.  Without any hesitation, she left the class and accompanied me to the toilet. She waited until I was done with my business. After that she gave me chocolate knick knacks. That's why every time i see chocolate knick knacks (kasi parang the packaging never changed), I remember her.

I never saw her again since transferring to another school on 3rd grade. I'm not even sure if she's still teaching there (Colegio del Sto. Nino - Cebu) or her whereabouts because I just want to thank her for I don't think I ever said thanks to her at that time. I'll try searching in FB but I forgot her complete name.

i have a lot of unforgettable teachers. pero the one whom i owe all this to is this teacher:

she's my grade 2 teacher, i was in section two. her name is miss barrion. she was the first teacher to recognize my potential and she "harnessed" me that potential so that i will be recognized and i can finally belong to the pilot section where my skills would be develop because i could interact and be with people who were of the same plane of thinking as i was. she entered me to different competitions. then eventually she promoted me to section 1 when i reached grade 3. from then on i grew academically and socially. i owe a big part of who i am now to her. i wish she is doing fine with lots of pretty kids and a loving husband.

Highschool:

Sir Llorente : dahil nahuli nya ko tinuturuan yung katabi nung recitation, pinalabas nya ko buong subject nya gang matapos. Kakahiya.

Si Mam Asst Principal: mahilig sya manita. Paborito nya ko kasi magaling ako sa subject nya, paborito din nya ko sitain. one time, flag ceremony, umpisa ng klase, so june. May kulay buhok ko na brown. Dahil catholic school kami bawal yun. Sinita nya ko sa buong school naka mic pa. "FieryAngel027, bukas pagpasok mo itim na ang buhok mo. Kung hindi, hindi ka makakapasok ng school, absent ka kaagad". Pati naman lower years, hiyang hiya ako, sumikat ako!

College:

Sir De Roma: nahuli nya ko nagdadaldal sa seatmate ko so, pinatayo nya ko buong klase, sa  harap ng mga classmates ko buong subject tapos lahat ng tanong nya, dapat ako lang sasagot. Nakakahiya.

Mam Maghirang: 2 sila na Maghirang sa school at mula first year pa lang, na rerecognize nila galing ko sa subjects nila. And, kahit surprise yung quizzes nila, palagi pa rin ako nasa top. Minsan tinatanong pa nila ko pag may wrong answer ako sa test paper ko. Kung ano yung hindi ko naintindihan. Bukod dun, alam nila hindi ako madamot magturo sa classmates ko kaya pag nagtatanong ako sa kanila, alam nila i se share ko sa classmates ko kung ano natutunan ko.

Sir Tyron: prof sa major subjects namin. Palagi ako nasa top ng subject nya kaya til now, Panelist ako sa defense ng graduating. Almost six years na rin since nag graduate na ko.

3rd grade teacher - Nagpakanta ng "Father Abraham" hindi ko ginagawa fully kasi hindi ko gusto yung pinagmumukhang "abnoy". Nagalit at pinaupo ang klase at pinagawa sa akin mag-isa (humiliated me in class) Sabi bakit daw ayaw ko gawin eh ang bata bata ko pa, ang arte ko daw. Hindi ko sinumbong sa nanay ko, if i had known dapat sinabi ko.

HS Freshman years:

Algebra teacher - Pala sigaw, meron kaming "CR pass" na kasing laki ng 1/8 illustration board na dapat mo isuot if you need to go to the washroom, para legit yung paglabas mo ng classroom ng class hours, hindi ko sinuot, hawak ko lang. Nakasalubong ko sya sa hallway. Ang panget na teacher na yun, panget na, panget pa ugali. Puro bukbok ang mukha parang binahayan ng uod kaya siguro sama ng ugali inis sa mukha nya. As courtesy sa amin, kailangan batiin mo ang teachers, binati ko, tpos sabi sa akin. "Bakit di mo suot yan?, isuot mo yan at titignan kita hanggang makarating ka sa CR and makabalik sa room nyo." True enough, binantayan nya ako, habang naka ngising aso. Salabahe. hahahaha... nakita namin sya nun Grand Alumni at ayun panget pa din. Walang pinagbago. asal aso pa din. I could say na sya pinaka hate na teacher ng batch ko kasi madami syang pinahiya sa amin, may pagka manang sya so galit sya sa mga girls na ligawin. Eh kung maganda natural liligawan, may mga classmates ako na magaganda and nililigawan ng higher batches, ang pagiinitan nya yung mga babae.  Kasalanan ba nila na ligawin sila? Sasabihan nya ang lalandi etc.

Filipino teacher - Mahilig mang laki ng mata and sigaw. Nagalit sya at sinigawan ako kasi ngbibigay pa sya ng instructions re project kinakausap ko na yung katabi ko kasi excited na ako me idea na ako ano yung gagawin ko sa project. Sinigawan nya ako to get my attention "Ms. (MaidenSurname)! - Joke time namin ng asawa ko 'to, kasi classmate ko sya nun first year highschool. Ginagaya nya. LOL Kaya kahit galit na ako pag ng-aaway kami, natatawa ako.
