hi would the 5in1 vaccine cause fever?
@kiz_me1109:Dosing for flu vaccine is as follows:6 months to 35 months: 0.25 cc3 years old and above: 0.5 ccSo yes, same lang ang dose for 3 year old kids and adult patients. For patients below 9 years of age receiving the flu vaccine for the first time, 2 doses are required, given at least 1 month apart.
@erl:Pwedeng pwede pa humabol sa mga vaccines ang anak mo. There is no deadline to giving the MMR or the booster vaccines. Sa rotavirus vaccines lang may deadline sa pagbigay ng 1st and 3rd dose.
@kiz_me1109:MMR and varicella vaccines are both live vaccines so dapat may 4 week interval sa susunod na vaccine. Thus, for me, hindi pa dapat ibigay ang flu vaccine this week. Ask na lang your pedia if it is ok with her to give the flu vaccine this week since she may have a different opinion. As to transporting the vaccine, it has to be placed in a cold storage bag, but not sa freezer as freezing the vaccine may destroy the contents.
