hi.. gusto kong sumali sa topic na'to cuz it somewhat suits me.

I have a tattoo with my ex's name on my left thigh, this is with my name of course and a love sign in between our names and anniversary date below with some roses on the sides. I had this one 3 years ago, when I was 17. He was my first boyfriend. Actually, sabay kami nagpatattoo, same design lang kami but sa kanya, sa likod niya. I just have it tattooed on my thigh, dun sa outer part para mahide ng shorts and is not visible to everyone, only when I go to the beach, wearing two-piece. I think this is really stupid and I've been having regrets for having this. Now, I have bf na at lagi syang nagagalit sa tuwing nakikita niya ang tattoo. He want it deleted on my body. Lagi namin itong pinag aawayan especially pag lasing sya, pinapamukha niya sakin how bobo I was. To my ex naman, he still has it. He dont want it removed cuz he said, I was a part of his life at never nyang naging regret ang ginawa niyang yon. Maski mga naging gfs niya after me, nagseselos pa rin sa akin.  Problema ko ngayon ito, with my bf.

^^impulsive in love talaga pag ganyang age sis.. si hubby eversince kinukulit ako payagan sya to have my name tattooed on his left chest... ayaw na ayaw ko talaga, i don't see it as a proof of true love. i have a friend he has a huge tattoo of his wife's name sa right arm dinagdagan pa ng names ng kids nila pero he's unfaithful...

For me, not necessarily (but then i can't imagine having a tattoo!)

Any, di ko kasi talaga peg ang tatoo. I don't find it cool or anything attractive. So NO. Kahit name ko pa yan. Baka mainis lang ako. Hahaha. It's not even healthy saka I find it dirty as in literal, sa eyesight ko parang madumi tignan. (Sorry sa mga may tatoo or sa mahilig sa tatoo, just my opinion)

i dont't understand tattoos like that. dont get me wrong ha, im not against tattoos. i just find it so bad when you tattoo someone's name on your body and then it doesnt work out or something. buti pa kung pangalan ng anak mo yan or ng nanay mo, at least hindi mababago yun. eh kahit asawa na, pwede pa rin mawala yan. besides, i also find tattoos with names medyo baduy.

may kilala ako, yung asawa nya mahilig sa tattoo. as in naka-sleeve na ng iba ibang tattoo yung buong arm. pangit overall kasi hindi mukhang artistic yung mga tattoo pero gusto nya yun eh. proud na proud sya na nilagay yung pangalan nya sa arm nung asawa nya. yun pala lahat ng naging girlfriend nun, nilagay nya rin yung pangalan. tinatakpan lang ng kung ano anong design yung pangalan pag nag-break. kaya pala mukhang ewan yung braso nung lalaki. mas masakit daw kasi magpatanggal (at mas mahal) kaya pinapadagdagan na lang ng kung ano ano.

i never had tattoos and dont plan to have any in the future... kaya di ko alam kung may significance ba talaga ito.

Proof of True Love? It depends. Proof can be arbitrary.
Here's my story.

Both I and Hubby are collectors of tattoos.
On his arm is a tattoo of my name in Arabic. And if you can read Arabic, backwards it's a prayer naman.
When he did it, he did not even get my consent kung okay lang. That time, we were not yet even engaged. So no problemo kung may hiwalayan man, Arabic naman.
Tattoos can have significant meanings for people who opt to get inked.
Maybe one of the reasons, e love, but not a downright proof. ako bilang name ko un at ang name ko ay unique ala kapareho. Mga niramble ng name ng nanay tatay lola kahit igoogle ala lalabas na kapareho.

Nakakatuwa basahin ang thread na ito. I remember tuloy una kong thread na start dito sa GT. Just before I get my first tattoo 8 years ago. What do u think of girls with tattoo - to that effect
