Girltalkers Friday Weigh In

hello sisses!

first time ko mag start ng new thread and hopefully maging helpful siya sakin at sa iba na rin.

gusto ko sana gumawa ng parang friday weigh in thread kamukha nung sa atkins community. basically, every friday you weigh yourself and post your "findings" here at GT together with your start weight + date/current weight/goal weight and the type of diet you're trying to follow.

i was reading a book about self control and studies have found that constant monitoring is an important element of success ( ex: weighing yourself everyday is more effective than doing it weekly) pero sana kaya nating gawin maski weekly man lang and congratulate those who are successfully inching towards their weight goal. I will post mine here and then will maybe post again each friday afterwards:

Start Weight: 200 to 205 lbs as of July 8, 2012 (fluctuating in between those)
Current Weight: 190 lbs
Goal Weight: 110 lbs (yikes!)
Type of Diet I'm in: Atkins/ very low carb diet

I'm trying to lose weight right now too and I need others to walk with with me in this journey.

Start Weight: 177 lbs
Current Weight: 175 lbs
Goal Weight: 120 lbs
Type of Diet I'm in: Calorie Counting via my fitness pal, Exercise, and motivation from weight loss blogs :)

Diet: I am following a Paleo Diet which is all natural foods, low carb, and low bad fat.

I started: 236 lbs (grabe!) June 8, 2012
as of last friday Aug 3, 2012): 196.6 lbs
Target weigh: 140 lbs
Diet I'm doing: Cohen

kudos to kreez!. galeng ha almost 40 lbs in 2 months. I will try Cohen if it didn't look so expensive. haha

anyway, here's mine.

^oo sis sobrang effective talaga nitong cohen tapos i enjoy what I eat pa kaya hindi ako nahihirapan... happy na ako talaga coz I lost 46.4lbs na within 10 weeks :D.  Goodluck sa atin!

^ my sister is on Cohen. Effective nga siya. As for me I'm on the Paleo diet. The principles are like sa low carb diet but it emphasizes real food and quality fats. Hindi naman siya as fast Cohen but I lost 13lbs in a month then nagplateau pero pinagtiagaan ko pa rin. After two weeks, the scale is moving again. Tamang tama sa Friday weigh in. heehee

Type of Diet I'm in: i go to the gym regularly like everyday except Sunday, no specific diet plan but eats everything in moderation, eliminated sodas and junks foods though.

waaahhhh nagbagal ang weigh loss ko before 4.2-4.8lbs per week ngayon past 2 weeks tig 2.4lbs lang

I'm late in the weigh in because I had an early start at work! :)

Starting weight: 193
Last Weigh in : 179
Current weight :181

Difference of +2 gasp! I wasn't bad on my diet this week but my sister had a party and I broke the diet and had cake. This Friday weigh in really helps me realize that cheating really takes a toll. I will do better by next friday, mga sisses!
