Are agents limited to specific types of plans? I asked for quotation tapos 2 lang yung binigay sa akin (VUL and Elite) eh ang laki ng price difference. The budget that we have is 60k per year max lang. Or dapat ko ba irequest based on what I want? I saw kasi madami pang ibang options in SUNLIFE's site.

Hi j.adore, I think it's best if you talk to a financial advisor talaga and tell them your needs and budget. Ako initially ang gusto ko educational plan for our future kids ni hubby (we weren't even engaged yet that time, now married). Tapos sinabi namin how much ang projected cash na kailangan namin in say...15 years time. Based on that nakabuo kami ng plan na separate for me and hubby :) VUL siya...10 years to pay. we're now on going on our 5th year!

May online payment facility ba Sunlife? I want to check with the policyholders here.

Hi Sis. It's a principle kasi na you're not supposed to borrow money or get in debt just to invest, so CC is not allowed for VULs kasi it's life insurance plus investment.

Yes sis. Sun Maiden Plus has maternity benefits.

No naman, Sis. What's your financial goal? Usually with my clients kasi we determine ang target goal muna nila, then budget nila and then kung kelan nila gusto i-reach ang goal so we can personalize which solution is suited for them. :)

Hi sissies! I'm about to get Sun Life. Sana someone can enlighten me.

Eto yung offer saken:

Flexilink
- 15 years to pay
- Face amount 750,000
- Total Disability Benefit
- Accidental Death, Dismemberment and Disablement Benefit
- Critical Illness Benefit

MaxiLink Prime
- 10 years to pay
- Face amount 500,00
- Total Disability Benefit
- Accidental Death, Dismemberment and Disablement Benefit

About sa Mutual Fund may nakakaalam ba dito?

^ sis kapag mutual fund, dapat long term yung investment mo para mas makikita mo yung "fruit of labor". and it's true na wala kang babayaran every period. kung kelan ka may time or money to do so, saka ka maghulog sa mutual fund account mo. kami we have both. 3rd yr na namin sa Maxilink Prime and 3rd year na din sa Mutual Fund account namin. both Sunlife. meron kaming Mutual Fund sa ibang company pero kukunin na din namin soon kasi mas tumubo yung pera namin sa Sunlife.

sis yung Maxilink Prime mo wala din crirical illness? Hindi daw kasi sya pwede rider. And kung 5 years to pay ang kunin ko okay kaya yun? Ang reason naman nun is not to pay for too long.

In my case isang bagsakan akong naghulog nung November 2013 for 7k kasi buntis ako with twins. Nag ipon ako para sa panganganak. Then until now hindi pa din ako nakakahulog. Ayoko syang igive up at balak ko sanang maghulog this coming payout.

@Lianne@TheWiseLiving annual na Maxilink Prime. If advance magbayad, how will Sunlife know na pang top up or premium? Via BPI online kasi ako magbabayad. And ano advantage if advance magbayad?

If may ibang memebers here na alam ang sagot sa question ko, please reply na rin. :)

Thanks!

^ginawa ko to last year. Advanced my payment kasi bagsak stock market so gusto ko ma-take advantage so that maraming mabiling stock market units kasi nga mababa presyo.

Ang consequence nito is an admin fee or charge na 5% nung premium mo.
