Maybe next week. :D Pero clinic nya is in Makati
Medical Plaza sa likod ng Makati Med. then sa Borough Medical Clinic sa MOA.

Now, I am using pure glycerin pala to ease skin dryness. I read it in a blog. Here's the link.

Hope maging eczema-free na tayo. :D

My son has skin asthma. We've consulted several dermatologist and allergologist. They gave us different lotions and cream, we even pursued the skin asthma theraphy for two years of weekly injections. But to no avail, the skin asthma still comes back. Gladly, My Sister Introduced us to VNM pure emu Oil. And now my son is now steroid free and no skin flair ups. :)

I just use diprolene or diprogenta for problem areas.

i get so embarrased when they flare up, i look so diseased. x____x ... and ironically, the only thing that triggers it is either hypersensitivity to a product, MY OWN SWEAT, or SEA WATER.

bawal na ako sa dagat... huhuhu :-[ I dont know how to explain to my friends na "I'm allergic to my own sweat or seawater" without sounding so obnoxious and arrogant :'| ...

Hi mga sis, i replied on this thread weeks ago regarding my scalp condition.
Wala naman akong iginamot or anything, except changing my shampoo to Head & Shoulders.
Yung doctor sa clinic namin sa office gave me a tip na may anti-seborrhea kasi na ingredient ang Head and Shoulder. Sa ngayon okay na yung scalp ko, never na sya nangati and nawala na din yung mga wounds na halos di gumagaling dati. :)

But right now, I got another problem.

2nd week of May - nagstart kumati yung fold ng right arm ko. Akala ko dahil lang sa bag ko na mukhang stuffed toy (na hindi pa nalalabhan) kaya hinayaan ko lang, applied alcohol and "Katialis", and that's all. Pagdating ng Friday, nakakain ako ng tinolang manok. The itching got worse. Sobrang pula nya. Nagtanong ako sa doctor sa office clinic namin if she could help, niresetahan nya ako ng Ceterizine tablets and suggested I change my soap and lotion to mild.

3rd week - Nalelessen lang yung pangangati pero my skin doesn't get any better. I consulted a derma (Clinica Manila @ Megamall) and naku, hindi nyo magugustuhan how she talks with you. Dra. de Jesus, I don't know if she's inaantok na ba by that time kasi ako na ata yung last patient (tumakas lang ako saglit sa work). She didn't clear out what my condition is, basta na lang akong niresetahan ng napakamamahal na kung [textspeak!]-ano. Ceterizine (way more expensive than what I buy @ Mercury Drug), Hydrosoap(Php650) and Dexamethasone Cream(Php350). I didn't buy the tablets kasi meron naman ako na cheaper na nabibili, so I just bought the cream. For the soap, sobrang mahal kasi kaya I asked kung may cheaper pa ba sila. She suggested Oatmeal Soap (300php), so sige binili ko. :(
Akala ko gagaling na sya totally kasi iniiwasan ko naman yung mga bawal na foods (chicken, egg, seafoods) so go ako sa swimming nung weekend. But I made a bad decision.
Bumalik sya, and nagworsen at kumalat pa sa buong katawan.

This week, habang naggrocery for a mild lotion (Nivea Hydro something yung lotion na nabili ko), I saw this AP-AP solution, I tried to buy kasi nakita ko na formulated sya for eczema, fungal infection, seborrhea, etc. Grabe, SOBRANG HAPDI nya. Pero nawawala talaga yung kati after, kailangan lang talaga matiis mo yung sakit. I still continue in taking Ceterizine once a day.
Right now, ayoko na bumalik sa Clinica Manila (lalo na dun sa derma na nakausap  ko). I managed to get back to work, pero yung fold ng arms ko kapansin-pansin pa din talaga yung pagkapula. :(

The office doctor changed the antihistamine I'm taking from Ceterizine(10mg) to Celestamine(2mg) (bethamethasone). This one's steroids, kaya minimal lang ang intake.
Tomorrow I'll be having a checkup at Biosafe Clinic (suggested by my cousin and she also works there) to know my true condition.
Coz some says this is atopic dermatitis (dahil sa init ng panahon), some says this is seborrhea. >:(

sis @chellychacha, where did you buy the floucinonide cream? Thanks!

Cheap din sya, just PHp20.

^^ sis moodygirl, looks like ang trigger nung eczema mo sa mga folds ng arms and legs mo are due to sweat.
Ganyan din kasi ako. Kapag pinapawisan, mag-start na sila mamula. All the folds, neck arms, legs. I also take ceterizine and in a day
nawawala na talaga pangangati. Just the pangangati pero yung rash nya, andun pa rin so I put elica lotion naman. After nun, ok naman na.
The lotion I use now is Physiogel AI Lotion. Super effective for me. I also stay away from whitening products kasi isa din yun sa mga trigger ko..

sis @faye-tea, thanks!

Where can I buy Physiogel AI Lotion? Is it expensive?

Kung sweat talaga ang nagtrigger, then this must be atopic dermatitis. Pero why does it get itchy when eating chicken?

^ if I may, nakita ko sa mercury drug. hehe for me okay lang. medyo pricey but not like cetaphil.. hehe.

well, alam ko merong iba na yung onset sa allergies later pa in life.. or baka may something sa chicken. hehe

ako may skin asthma and atopic dermatitis etc, usually caused by whitening products. my derma highly advise against it though. binawal niya sa akin. tigas lang ng ulo ko gusto ko gumanda eh ::) so kapag nawala na skin asthma, gamit ako tuloy ng whitening but less potent lang. haha BUT dont do this ha. lol

You can buy at Mercury. I always buy the 200ml na para mas tipid. I think it's worth 700.00

just the same with mine sis. dati hindi ako nangangati dyan, but then there are times na mangangati, meron namang hindi.

well as suggested sa akin not to use whitening products kasi yun talaga trigger ko. Nakaka-dry kasi ng skin. I only use natural pampaputi like calamansi..

Mga sis na nagpost dito about floucinonide cream, saan kayo nakabili?

Checkup ko kanina, and surprisingly, my condition is not atopic dermatitis nor seborrhea. Nagundergo din ako ng BRI and ARDK testing(reading brainwaves to check internal organs), no major problems internally naman daw. Not with the food din. I got my allergic reaction lang daw either with my clothes, beddings, or products that I use.

He suggested taking Mebendazone din (Antiox - pampurga) kase may mga nakitang "worms".
I checked the price of the floucinonide cream din, 300+ pesos sya.
San kaya nabili ng mga sis natin yung cheap but effective floucinonide cream nila?

Thanks!

Thank you guys for giving me hope regarding sa eczema problem ko.akala ko ako lang nagkakaganito.

I started having my eczema, more than 10years ago na.nag sideline ako sa school canteen as all around assistant nila.ginagamit nilang panghugas ng pinggan that time yung bareta panlaba.until gumamit sila ng homemade dishwashing liquid..dun nagsimulang nagbutlig butlig yung kamay ko.super kati as in to the point na binababad ko kamay ko sa mainit na tubig para mawala yung kati.hanggang sa lumala na sya, umalis nako sa canteen.nag nana na kasi yung mga butlig.to the point na nagmukhang fried chicken yung kamay ko.di kasi agad ako nagpatingin sa doktor.nung malala na.nagpachek up nako sa derma.eczema nga daw tapos na infection pa daw kamay ko. ilang months din naging gamutan ko that time.buti gumaling.kaya lang pasumpong sumpong nalang sya ngayon.. binubutlig parin kamay ko pero di na gaya ng dati na super kadiri na me nana pa.

gamit ko ngayon deprogenta ointment.reseta sakin ng derma. kaya lang super dry ng kamay ko kaya pag pagaling na kamay ko, nagsusugat pa sya kasi super dry ng balat ko sa kamay nabibitak bitak.matagal bago gumaling. kaya nagreresearch ako ng lotion na pwede sa eczema and thank you guys for your suggestions  ;)

hi mga sisses, i also have the same worries. Mine is bumps na parang butlig na chicken skin, ngsimula to nung bata pa ako then nawala, then bumalik last year after ko manganak, may butlig butlig sa legs pero hindi ko pinapansin, i am breastfeeding then yun baby ko meron rin. Her pedia recommended Elica cream mixed with petroleum jelly at dove baby soap, her skin got clear & smooth like a magic (fades away intantly!) while mine is not. I tried applying Elica, betnovate, dermovate & i use dove baby soap pero nope it did not fade away. Parati kami ngsswim sa swimming pool halos everyday last summer, so it got worse, sa arms ko and thighs marami. Then last week i saw sa healthy options yung Derma e yung Psorzema cream at body wash both with neem. OMG it lightens. Then i researched the benefits of neem. It was fascinating. Neem was the key ingredient that i need! So now i'm planning to buy tea, soap, lotion etc that has neem & turmeric on it

does anyone posted something bout neem already? pls send me i'm interested

I use Diprolene ointment and Cetaphil as my soap for flare ups. I take Cetirizine pag sobrang kati na. I use unscented soaps and lotions such as Dove and Aveeno. Pabalik balik talaga sya, it can be really frustrating.

After a day or two natutuyo agad.

Pag yung nagsusugat na.i take Zyrtec tab once a day before bedtime, kasabay nung Clobetasol cream..ayun kinabukasan ok na siya.pwede na uli maglaba!haha..pero as much as possible don't use this medications longterm.kasi maraming bad effects ang steroids..kung baga sakin pag yun talagang hindi na kaya....sorry so long na po:D

may eczema yung family ko and we use Aveeno lotion for eczema, effective naman. Yung clobetasol prescribed na ng derma kapag malala/madami na. yung sakin effective sobra Aveeno kasi light lang and super bihira Eczema ko, kasi nat-trigger lang ng paggamit ko ng alcohol siguro 10-20x a day. germaphobe lang.

I use Mustela's Stelatopia. For babies siya pero so far, mas ok ako rito kesa sa Aveeno.
