I used to have very BAD eczema attacks.  It even went to the length of almost the whole legs is covered in wound with watery puss.  I was always in my pants at that time.  My face was also a victim.   My grandfather told me to use Dr. Kaufmann sulfur soap.

VERY BAD SUGGESTION.

The eczema attack was so damaging that it went up to my arms and sides of the waists where my panty is.

I used to take Iterax, but it was so potent that the day after, I felt I had hangover.  In this way, you're too asleep to scratch the itchy part.  I also took hydrocortisone that sometimes, my eczema became so immune with it, I had to settle for injections from my derma.  Which in few months, my skin became immune again with the injections that even if after few shots, it still did not work.

Now, it has reduced significantly due to use of Dove Soap (white unscented from US, not the one from Malaysia) plus Physiogel Lotion which is a medicated lotion for dry and scaly skin.  It has no parabens nor any scents so its ideal for very sensitive dry skin.

The key here is to always keep your skin moisturize and drink lots of water.

Now there are still patches but only when my legs are scrutinized.  Otherwise, its invisible to the naked eye.

Ako naman I self diagnosed when someone told me Katialis is a great treatment for eczema.

I ended up going to an emergency room after applying it.

Im using now Physiogel AI lotion and Jergens Ultra Healing Lotion. For soaps, I use Oilatum bar or Cetaphil. For now Im ok with this together with my usual Anti Histamin meds (xyzal anf Iterax) I hope mawala na talaga siya .

I only take Iterax at night. I hope I dont get immune with this otherwise, di ko na alam gagawin ko because Ive tried so many meds na with doctors prescription

nag flare up yung eczema ko. Nag hives ako all over my legs and arms. Sobrang di ko na talaga matake. I took a picture of it naiiyak ako pag nakikita ko. Eto as in buong katawan. Nag inject sila ng anti histamines and sa braso ko and they put me on a dextrose. After 6 hours pinauwi na nila ako. I just need to sleep there due to drowsiness. That morning, I just tried katialis on those parts na may eczema. But instead, it becamse worse pa. lesson learned the hard way: skin test muna products before ipahid sa affected areas.

Sis,kung gusto nyo pala maalis yung black spots na naiiwan ng eczema, consult kayo sa doctor..kasi ako, niresetahan nya ng gluta and some vitamin C na iti-take together with gluta.Effective naman,One month ko lang ginamit.Kaso after ilang months bumabalik naman [textspeak!] allergies/eczema natin..Kaya useless din.

I used to work for skin and some people who had a lot of problems about their skin came to me.
I was keep saying, please wash your face clearly. This is the very basic things but really important.
Because if you couldn't clear your skin, you cannot absorb any kind of nutrition.
And I like "Roc" for my skin cares.

hi mga sis, i also have eczema (nummular) nagpacheck-up ako sa derma sa my health nung una then niresetahan ako ng clobetasol+erythromycin cream then lotion, i bought jergens ultra healing, for the soap i used dove, umayos yung mga butlig but after a month bumalik siya, ointment naman binigay sakin hindi siya effective, so nagpa check-up ako sa delos santos para maresetahan ng tamang gamot, ang nireseta sakin clobetasol cream ulit pero as is lang, milk soap (i bought goatmilk heavenly beauty) then yung lotion niya urea. so far umaayos nanaman legs ko kasi as in super daming butligsss at mga itim itm na parang naging world map yung legs ko, after mawala ng mga butlig ang iwowork out ko naman yung itim itim, any suggestions?  :'( tsaka nga pla mga sis, sabi ni derma e as much as possible iwasan ang pag susuot ng mga skinny jeans kasi naiipit raw yung balat natin at di nakakasingaw heheh

^minsan sis ang cause is yung laundry detergent.  Yun ang nakitang allergen sa akin kaya we switched to perla for my clothes. If you really cannot avoid wearing jeggings, try the easy leggings jeans kasi medyo loose sya.

Skin with eczema is very sensitive.

Nagka contact dermatitis ako last month, swolen talaga mata ko. My derma gave me pimecrolimus cream at pinatake ako ng claricort tablet (anti-histamine/anti-inflammatory). In less than 5 days nawala agad.

every summer, pag biglang init, biglang lamig... ayan na..
attack na ang rashes, kati-kati sa chest area.. as in super kati. talaga. aerius in the morning and xyzal at night.. before i used to put on elica cream, then lotion, now diprolene cream, then physiogel.. but still andyan pa din ang kati...

last holyweek nag worsen na talaga even sa batok, leeg and shoulders. kaya i was advised to undergo biopsy.. weird (for some) kasi kati-kati lang biopsy na..

if they only knew how it feels to make "tiis' the kati especially in public areas.. ( ay minsan, keber ko ba kung magkamot ako ng tyan at likod) hehe
nung onetime i was scratching the chest area, eh may nakakita aba ang sabi ba naman officemate ko  i was mast*rbating daw... as in duh?!

I got so many scalp wounds. :(

I don't know kung sa pagkukulay ba ng buhok ko yung cause or dandruff or what.

Any suggestions for a solution/medicine? Please help. :(
Or kung may ibang topic na dapat dun 'to, please redirect me.
Thanks a lot mga sis!

i agree with sis @xtine you really have to keep your skin moisturized to prevent the skin from itching.  i also use physiogel, but i use the cream.  i'm beginning to miss using scented ones so i'll probably give it a shot, laura mercer body cream perhaps... hope it wont be a bad idea... :)
