Hi sis! Finally had my iui done at kato this morning. We paid a total of 12,100. 10k (tax excluded) for the insemination. And 2,100 for duphaston. (42 tabs to be taken 3x a day) 50.00 per tablet.
Wala ng doctot's fee no consultation fee. That's all i needed to pay. Sana mabuo na si baby... magic baby dust to us all! God bless!

Hi Lanesky! Sorry for the late reply, been so busy with the twins so ngayon lang naka-check ng forum.
About your question re tests, Kato only required Histerogram (this i did in St. Lukes and cost me about Php7,000 including doctor's professional fee) and Sperm test (done in Kato).
But prior to consulting with Kato, I've undergone a lot of work-ups and blood tests that were not required by Kato but required by my OB:

So what's the procedure? You have to wait for blood test results? IF yes, how long? And then, discuss nila yung result kung pwede ng natural or needs meds/stimulation?

Hi mga sis! Just want to ask if general anesthesia will be used for the egg retrieval in Kato? I had a hard time kasi last time with my sedation in my ivf in Taiwan. Sadly that one failed so we're planning to try it here in Manila. Thanks in advance for the reply.

I also underwent IUI in Kato last July 1.

Our first visit was last June 23 which was my CD2. We opted to do one round of IUI before moving into IVF. We have been TTC 5 years and this is the first time we're going to a fertility clinic. Me and DH are both 30 years old. I have PCOS and DH has low progressive count. Dr. Mendiola prescribed clomid to be taken at bedtime for 7 days.

We were asked to return on CD8 to check my tubes and undergo HSSG. During the baseline scan, Dra. Ong-jao was surprised that I already have a mature follicle which meant that I was due to ovulate early in my cycle. Good thing I chose to go on my CD8 (they said I can go take the HSSG test from CD8-10). She had me do a blood test to confirm if I was indeed already due to ovulate and I was. So they gave me the Suprecur nasal spray. They will let you watch a video so you know how to use it. There's a bit of bitterness as the Suprecur runs down your throat.

On my Cycle day 10, we underwent the IUI. And now I'm in the 2 week wait. I don't want to get my hopes up that the first time will be it so I'm trying to keep myself busy in the meantime. And being in the Kato clinic is just really inspiring, they are really fast and may mga pa-graduate na na nakasabay namin. Ang saya lang.

We've spent a total of 38,630 so far in our 3 visits. This includes everything already, procedures, consultation fees and medicines.

Sis, I read in KATO's website regarding their IVF Cost Guarantee Plan, stating that "If initial pregnancy test is negative, patients only pay PHP 16,800.00 for the IVF cycle." Is this true? Thanks!

I had my IVF procedure in Kato last year and my baby boy is due on July 21st.

The P16,800 is exclusive of consultation fees, medicine, and lab tests from first consultation until the the first b-hcg test. The b-hcg test will be the deciding factor if you will be paying P16,800 (for negative result) or P168,000 (for positive result).

August is just near the corner, and I am actually scheduled for my 1st IVF in Kato though I will not have the entire Protocol this year because I am only allowed 40 days of vacation. But I will do up to OPU and then they will freeze the embryos for next year transfer. They said they are using vitrification freezing w/c has 98% success rate after Thawing...and hoping that it will be a complete success rate for me. Is there somebody who underwent this kind of embryo freezing and is it successful? kindly share your experience and enlighten me.

hi mga sis! nakakalakas ng loob to read your stories here.  I'm 35 and was diagnosed to have a blocked Left tube and partially blocked Right tube last 2011.  I didn't go thru any work up after that since the hubby was abroad that time. Nalungkot ako talaga, isip ko baka nga hindi na ako magkakaanak.  I used to dwell in self-pitying, but now, not anymore. Isip ko na lang lagi, God has plans.  And if there are things na hindi nya ibinibigay, it just means He has better plans or it's not yet the right time.

Now, hubby and I are both based here in UAE and now, ready na ako to go back to fertility workups.  Hindi ko lang alam where to start here kasi wala pa ako alam na fertility doctors here though sabi nila meron daw, pero indi Pinoys.  I'd prefer talking to a Pinoy doktor pero basta kung cnu makakatulong why not. I first heard of this Kato clinic years ago from a friend na naging client sila para sa mga machines nila sa clinic. Sabi nga nya mas mura and maraming success stories sa Japan pa lang.

I just want to ask mga sis, gano katagal usually ang treatment for IVF? From the initial consultation hanggang sa pag transplant ng eggs? I'm not sure kung papayagan kami ng hubby na magtagal sa pinas to go thru all that pero we will try.  Or basta magpapaconsult muna ako to check if there options pa aside IVF like having my tubes unblocked. Kung meron dito sa Dubai, iapapagawa ko na para kung kaya magconceived na not thru IVF mas okay sana. Actually kahit ano, basta magkaanak kami.

First cycle kasi is for the stimulation (Blood test, TVU and meds to stimulate ovulation, etc)
2nd cycle is for the transfer (they don't do same cycle transfer kasi)

But still case to case ang lahat sis. I'm sharing base on experience lang

hopingMOMtobe, i think it's similar to what they did for me. I had OPU in March 2013 then embryo transfer 3 cycles later, July 2013. So embryos were frozen for more than 3 months. I had a successful IVF, and now mom to 5-month-old twins, boy and girl.

[textspeak!] paguwi namin hopefully this december punta kami dun para magpaconsult.  sa ngaun need ko pacheck muna tubes ko if totally blocked na pareho and kung ano pede gawin habang andito ako. nasasad ako for myself and for those who have been trying but til now ala pa din. isip ko na lang with God everything is possible, and that HE has plans for all of us. And shempre happy ako pag nakakabasa ng success stories.

never lose hope sis ü ako my iuis and ivf failed then i had 2 natural pregnancies buth both ectopic pero naiisip ko bibigyan din talaga tayo in His time. and tama have everything checked muna. if na preggy ka before you can at least have hysteroscopy para ma check lahat na. not only the tubes. para ma sure lang clear everything... just my 2 cent sis ah... anyways God bless you and all the best on our ttc journey! ☺

I've read that avocado helps in implantation, Does avocado really help? Pls do pray for us to have bfp to...thanks

Goodluck a transfer sis dimples. My ivf wasn't successful but I've got advices from those who were to  eat pineapple core and walnut then soup lagi para mainit. Then wear socks ü yun lang naman sis ü not necessarily din na mag bed rest 😊

Hello everyone! I've been reading all your posts these past few days and it's my first time ever to join a forum about this stuff.
Maybe im feeling so down coz AF just came today. Hubby and I are ttc for more than 3 years now. All his tests came back normal. I was diagnosed with mild endo, had a lap and hysteroscopy to remove it, was put on Clomid for 5 cycles, then recently had an IUI, all failed. Now our case is unexplained. My FS suggested IVF and i told her we needed a break and i'll think about it. Wanting something so badly and being let down over and over again is damn sad... It only gets worse watching your man play with your friends' kids and holding their babies with so much longing 
Anyways, after our failed IUI, hubby and I have started thinking about IVF, been learning about it online until i found this site. It's hard for us to decide where to have it done since we stay here in Australia and we'll only have limited time should we decide to go in Kato. But reading your posts made me think that it may be worth giving it a try.. Thanks for sharing your experiences with Kato and hope to bump into those planning to go in December

Hi Clyde06, I also experience what your are experiencing now. I'm married for 5 years and tried 4 IUI but all failed. My OB suggest us to try IVF and recommend Kato to us. Kato protocol is minimal stimulation only and their system is very organize. Their staff is also very accommodating. I started with Kato last May and I'm now on my transfer month. Pls pary for us, hopefully this time positive na.

Hi dimples00711, ako naman married na for 4 years now but i was on birth control pills for a year after i got married. If you don't mind, can i ask what your doctors said about your failed IUI? Did they explain to you the possible reasons why it failed four times? About Kato, what were the meds you took prior to egg retrieval? And who's your doctor? I had gonal F and ovidrel trigger shot for my IUI.. Sorry daming questions. Please give us an update about your ivf.  Will definitely pray for you! I hope this is your month  Babydust!!!
