Since I teach in college my Certificate of Employment does not come from the HR department. I got my 2 COE from the 2 schools where I teach and they were obtained from the Office the college Vice Dean and Office of the Vice Chancy...

I hope this would not be a problem with securing a visa because it says in the website that COE should be obtained from the HR... Are there other sisses there with the same situation? Alam na siguro ng Embassy na ganito ang cases ng faculty di ba? Sana makakuha ako ng visa, though I work as a part time faculty e 2 schools naman... I will also put with my application my certificate of enrollment for graduate studies para pandagdag.

This visa application is really fretting me out! Haha!

@little_princess, very cold! Temperature drops at negative. So cold that your hands and feet turn numb. As a tourist, you will not enjoy sightseeing unless your main reason is to experience winter.

bought a lot! especially sa migliore bldg in dongdaenum and of course h&m =) i also bought a lot of skincare products esp sa skinfood, faceshop and etude house.

is it windy? err i haven't been to korea in ages and not on december. so is it safe to say that it is colder in korea during december vs europe in march/april?

^^sometimes it's windy. you can feel the penetrating cold talaga. it's like being stabbed by ice, hehe. OA masyado but really that's how it feels for me. i have high tolerance with cold but not to the point of negative 10. there are days that it gets lower than that.

depending where in Europe. i have travelled from South Korea to Netherlands on a September. Netherlands was colder at that time. You can check by comparing the climate of each country in Wikipedia. May graph kasi naka-detail ang temperature range of each month.

^ thanks, i actually did na but i just want to know how windy it gets because that makes a whole lot of difference in europe kasi like czech republic, slovakia and poland, it was close to zero and very windy. it if weren't windy, it's more tolerable.

Went to the embassy this morning,around 8am and di naman masyado matao maybe because its friday
?Anyways i'm a housewife and i dont have itr,coe and bank cert.Lakasan na lang ng loob  saglit lang sa kin i think 5-10 minutes lang nasa window 2 ako.The korean woman asked about my hubbys work 2q's lang.Then she gave me the white slip balik next week 21.wahhhh!!goodluck to me!!

So yun lang dala ko,kinuha naman, yung koreana pa nga nagfill up don sa diko nailagay na i.d info ni hubby heheh.Madalian lang so im really not prepared sa mga papers kung ano lang yung nakaready (except sa school cert.buti pumayag school 1day lang nakuha na ,usually 1week daw pinakiusapan ko na lang)
Plan to visit korea 1st week next month ..so wish me luck na lang ....kinakabahan ako coz dami ko kulang na papers...    Babalitaan ko na lang kayo.Feeling ko ok pero we never know..haist!kakanerbyos!!

Hi guys! Approved na visa namin for Korea. The long wait is over, nakakamatay ang paghihintay hehe…  My friend who’s one of my companion in our trip was the one who applied for our visa, he applied last September 7, sobrang bilis lang daw (I think it is because our requirements are complete, no questions asked daw). Yesterday was the releasing (after 5 days for 1st time applicants and those who do not have visas in OECD Countries).

Sa mga katulad ko na praning at kabadong kabado for as long as you passed the complete requirements huwag kayong kabahan.

Our trip is on October 19-28, baka meron sa inyo same dates as ours kita kits tayo sa SoKor, here is our itinerary:
October 19-21 – Seoul, we will be staying in Hongdae area
October 21-23 – Jeju Island
October 23-24 – Busan/Gyeonju
October 24-28 – Seoul, we will be staying in Seoul Myeongdong  Hostel

To all the applicants who don’t have hotels yet, its ok to put “undecided” sa visa application
