I am still fretting over the visa, I will have to get one within the school term para they won't think that I am in between jobs. Mga last week of Sept na for the mid-November travel... Tagal pa =)

I will most probably stay in Hongik, looks like Ann GH has lots of good reviews. Since solo travel ako this is also the way to go to stretch the budget. Who has stayed in Ann's before? Are there lockers for you to keep valuables when I take a shower etc. I might take the dorms rooms.

@sis foruiz: madami ngang good reviews dyan sa Ann's GH. yan din una kong tinarget eh kaya lang fully-booked na. next time, two months before papareserve na agad ako sa kanila. LOL. ang di ko lang alam kung ensuite ang bathroom nila.

hi to everyone,

just want to ask about visa requirements...i used the old passbook when i travelled abroad (hongkong and macau) and now sa new passport wala akong travel pa abroad.. so ma check ba if may previous travel na? baka ma deny kasi yung application ko if ever wala silang nakita na kahit isang stamp sa new passbook ko.

sis pinkita, it won't matter kung 1st time mag travel abroad, mas importante yung COE and ITR! Basta complete requirements, walang magiging problema ang visa application mo. Kaya kahit new yung passport, okay lang yan sis.

@ngak, you can apply na just to be sure.

mga sis, ano ba okay na items to buy there? Yung cheaper than if we purchase it here in Manila?

para I know what I'll check.. baka mapamahal pa ko e! or yung mga 1 of a kind stuff na dun lang meron

agree with sis esor, cosmetics talaga. yung Etude nga pala medyo malapit lang yung price dito, pero yung iba mas mura talaga (Nature and TFS).

clothes, shoes and bags din kaya lang pag sale season lang (April, October, June (?)). Sa Ewha at Hongdae sobrang cheaper than Dongdaemun and Myeongdong. ito pala yung mga walang brand pero made in SK tapos kalevel ng Zara, MNG at F21 yung quality at design.

sarap magshopping talaga dun! next time

still searching for cheap fares. so far 11k pa lang pinakamura. lagi ako nakaabang eh.

ang Ewha sis ay two stations away from Hongdae kung tama ang pagkakatanda ko sa subway map. haha! pwedeng before kayo magHongdae mag-Ewha muna kayo. that is kung talagang shopping ang purpose nyo ah.

hehe. cheaper kasi talaga dito. siguro 15-20 mins away from Myeongdong sya via subway station.
