^just to clarify, nag medicine ka na ba before? 29 is still young, make sure na you'll take things seriously this time. entered medical school at age 26, sobrang pa easy easy lang ako
   (hanged with with the wrong crowd and joined a yucky soro )and now, i'm kinda regretting na i shouldve taken it seriously.

Hello mga sis, nalulungkot ako kasi matagal na akong nililigawan ng tita kong doctor na pumasok sa med school pero nagbulakbol ako.. Ngayon nagsisis ako kasi nagising nako sa katotohanan na eto pala ang talagang gusto ko. Willing siya mag finance ng schooling ko and all... The problem is, I'm turning 29 na next year.. Is it too late mga sis? Ilang taon na ako nun pag nag residency and all.. Hay enlighten me please...

idk how old classmate ko but she has kids already. never too late! 
i also have "philam" classmate and their ages usually range within 27-29.

Ako I'm 29 at ngayun [textspeak!] narealize na gsto ko ituloy medschool  i dont know how to start anew basta magnmat muna ako  konti [textspeak!] din prep time ko for nmat dahil workingna ako   d ko sure kung mahigpit na ulit ang medschools sa pagtanggap ng candidates kasi alam k nuon basta may nmat okna. Wala na ren ako nakikita na ave scoreneeded samgaschools. If God allows it mkakabalik ako med as freshman at age 30 hay   kalokohan ko nuon nasa feu med na ko nagsawa ak mag aral   basta na [textspeak!] ako hnd pumasok   now d ko alam how ko ayusin pagapply ko  kasi mayrecord na ako   may suggestions b kyo

Hi mga sis, I envy yung mga amtatapang na mag med. huhu gusto ko talaga but im afraid na mababa ang makuha kong nmat and hindi ako makapasok sa school and gusto ko sana mag self review. but i dont know pano mag start. Natatakot kasi akong hindi makakuha ng maayos na grade sa mga entrance exam. ( Ok ako sa pag aaral. pero yung mga entrance exam talaga ang kinakatakutan ko

^madali lang naman ang nmat! honestly i didn't study for it dati and exam week ko yung saturday na may nmat so as in bahala na si batman but i managed well. got 90+

Galing mo sis. Dapat mgtake ako last Nov. But was too afraid, kaya hindi na muna ako nagbayad. Try ko na din ngayong april meron diba. haay. Sana mataas ang makuha ko na nmat. Sis, ilan ba % need pag sa UE at FEU?

^im not sure kung same pa din ang rules pero wala namang requirement na dapat nmat score except na lang kung kukuha ka ng scholarship. Marami pa namang factors para makuha ka kung di ganun kataas nmat mo good luck!

^hi! Ang alam ko nung nag aapply ako, tumatanggap sila kahit anong nmat score pero since kukuha ka naman di ba, taasan mo na kasi mahirap ang competition

Hindi ako masyadong nahirapan nun sa nmat kasi biology course ko. Sakop na ng subjects namin mga nandun. Ang balita ko last year sobrang mahirap daw. Aral ka lang kahit self review. Same lang kadalasan makukuha mo dun sa mga nagreview sa mga review centers.. basta magreview ka. Aralin mo yung bio, chem, physics notes and books mo nung highschool at kung may ganung subject kayo sa college. Yun ang aralin mo. Mga general principles saka yung general formula sa physics. Yung english, di na ako nag aral dun kasi sobrang lawak naman kasi ng english di ba. Vocabulary pa lang ang dami na. Haha!

NMAT has no failing grade, so you don't have to worry/be anxious. Depends on which (medical) school you want to apply, you must strive to do good. Some schools treat NMAT scores as "for formalities sake" only thus they do not require a cut-off score; while some schools treat it seriously due to high competition, kaya may cut-off score sila.

My pre-med was Physical Therapy. Wala kaming Biochem, Botany sa curriculum. Yung mga general sciences naman (Chem, Physics) nalimutan ko na noon. Upon inquiring with my target medical school, they had a cut-off score (65 pa noon; ngayon tinaas na nila). Determined, I enrolled at a review center for NMAT and got a score of near 90. Eventually, nakapasok ako sa target medical school ko.

At advantage din ng nag rereview center, yung mas disciplined sa time at schedule kaya di pwedeng tinatamad tamad unless ok lang magwaldas ng pera sa review centers at di pumasok they can also guide you sa mga focus ng nmat. Yung nmat reviewers sa bookstores, di ko naman nagamit. Sobrang hirap naman kasi ng tanong dun.. so if you believe you can review by yourself, ok na siguro na di na mag review center. If you think you need guidance and you dont know how to start reviewing and what to review, apply na sa review center

Thank you mga sis sa input pre med ko kasi is psych. Sana makakuha din ako ng mataas na NMAT para makapasok ako sa gusto kong school if mahigpit sila. Wish me luck. Yup sis, mejo ngbabasa basa na nga ako ngayon sa bio medyo matagal na din simula nung inaral ko yun. (1st-2nd yr coll)
