Basically, the process is illegal...Why? it's because the process was not done through legal way meaning "Adoption Process" Kahit pa nilagay yong name not the biological parents still it will end up as illegal because the process was not followed. To adopt a child must go through legal processess, like going to a government agency that takes care of the adoption process (ang office nila ay nasa Kamuning sa gilid ng Ramon Magsaysay HS ang daan nyan) I just forgot the Gov't Office. Mind you I have been to that office to enquire the adoption and I was given a lot of list to accomplish for adoption and it's not easy to adopt pala....dami mga document requirements to submit before an adoption can be granted and just like any other posts here, it will take sometime before you can adopt a child. First and foremost of the requirement is your capacity of finances to support a child, your family history, blah blah..dami papeles kailangan i acoomplish. I remember now..ICAB pala ang Office...Inter-Country Adoption Board...Pero this ICAB as far as I know is only dealing with foreginers willing to adopt Filipino children....pero kung Pilipino ka I guess it's better to inquire from DSWD and I guess it is faster to adopt if you're a Filipino. Kaya naman ako napadpad ng ICAB is because my foreigner colleagues or workmate ask my help to inquire how is it possible to adopt a filipino child.Eto siste ngayon, when I gave him the list of requirements...naku hindi na ako kinausap until now...hahahahah langhiya na yon.

Good day mga sis.

We're in the process of adoption.

One of the requirements is yung psychological evaluation, may alam ba kayo na doctor na pwedeng mag assess? And how much kaya ang aabutin? TIA

Guys need your inputs. Si husband kasi wanted to adopt a baby girl- to be born on January or February next year. Actually humingi din kasi ako ng sign sa Diyos and it seems He wanted us to really adopt one.

^ true sis.

Nakita ko yung old post ko dito hehe. We were in the process narin kasi last year. Super hirap talaga ng pagdadaanan namin.

But God had a different plan.

Around a month after my last post, may nag offer ng baby sa mommy ko, the baby came all the way from Visayas with a very sad story. Pinagpasapasahan nalang sya ng kamag-anak ng tatay nya, never been baptized, ni walang birth certificate. Hubby and I were hesitant at first kasi we really want it to be legal, yung right way... kaso ang tagal talaga and our clock is ticking as months passed by. I was 36 na last year and waiting for a year or more is stressful talaga plus the financial aspect of it. So... after consultation with the in laws, we finally said yes and a day after andyan na si baby, inaantay na kami sa bus station with my aunt and cousin.

Now, she's almost a year old next month. She changed me and I'm at my happiest.

^ sis, hindi daw pwede kasi sila maghahanap ng match for you, sa legal way ito ha. And as per experience, we decided to adopt a baby na never pa namin nakita. We just prayed that she's healthy, turns out, she's a gem.

I often read that simulation of birth is illegal and DSWD urges interested applicants to go through the legal process of adoption.  Do any of you know anybody who has been imprisoned for simulation of birth certificate?  Do you know of any adoption application wherein the latter was rejected because DSWD discovered that the birth certificate was simulated?  How does DSWD check if a birth certificate is simulated or not?
