btw, i received a note from Sharon on Sunday that she has left Tagaytay Highlands. another lady called Alpen (Pen) has taken over - at least for our account. Kamusta naman, mahirap na nga hagilapin ang TH peeps on email, uulitin nanaman ang instructions and i will have to reiterate what has been agreed just to make sure we are all on the same page. And like Sharon, hindi prompt ang email responses, parang dapat tatawag ka muna to say you have sent an email for them to check! I dont know but i have been told wifi or internet connectivity over the place is quite poor, so could be a reason. i have been trying to set up skype call with them pero "mahina ang internet" daw doon.

That's true you really need to call for follow up or to remind them with your email. Sharon was my AE last year. I, my friend and her brother's wedding were all successful and its all under Sharon. It's sad na aalis na pala sya. Sobrang dali nya kausap, pero mahirap nga lang talaga sila ma-contact. I'm an overseas bride din kasi so first instructions or questions are on me thru email then its either my family or coordinator will contact them for follow up or I asked my friend na co-bride in TH to make kulit. Lahat naman ng napag-usap nasunod and may other considerations naman as long as you let them confirmed it like sa mga corkage fee.

sis smdagnes, our AE has been changed to Alpen too. First day niya pero hindi niya ko nareplyan agad so I had to follow up. Sabi niya "connectivity" issues din. Tapos I sent another follow up and kahapon lang siya nagreply kasi nakaleave siya. So I guess, ganon talaga ang AE sa TH - kukulitin mo talaga sila when is your wedding sis?

parang ang dami umalis sa TH lately, I was also informed that the church coordinator is no longer ms. rhea. Cj was handling our account before but now si ms. Armin na but I like armin better,  she replies to my texts immediately and she answers all my questions sa email. I was surprised that she emailed me the proposed contract within the day, before kasi and tagal din bago mag respond!

Hi TH Brides!

My hubby and I are planning our Catholic wedding. Gusto sana namin sa TH. Last year may nakausap ako doon, si Ms Cj, kaso hindi na ako nireplyan. Anyway, minove naman namin yung date.
Plan is Jan 2018 na sana instead of 2017. Pero awaiting padin ako sa reply from TH about the rates. Feeling ko kasi mas mataas na ang rates today compared last year.

anyway, I hope I can get tips from you girls.. kasi overseas bride din ako... ang hirap mag ayos ng wedding pag malayo...

kbarbie - hi! 2017 TH bride ako. we only got the Non Package wedding (80k) kasi hindi ako satisfied sa Blissful Union package (150k). Yung table setup and cake, hindi ko bet. So talagang nagoutsource na lang din ako ng mga suppliers.

^sis, walang corkage halos lahat. I think mahigpit lang sila sa L&S which is dapat JS Mina lang or Artuz101. I got JSMina for my wedding and baka Artuz101 for projector kasi silang dalawa din naman yung may OK na reviews sa Tagaytay Yung cake, waived na sa NonPackage wedding Walang corkage sa event stylist. I think yun lang naman [textspeak!] mga bagay na magiging affected pag pumili ka between NonPackage and Blissful Union

ayun! un pa ang hinihintay ko feedback kung okay ba ang food nila? which menu did you get? Sa November pa ang food tasting namin, parang wala ako masyadong nababasa reviews sa food nila kaya mejo may konting kaba lang

hi sisses! same question, are you guys going to get a projector or led wall? We had our food tasting done last month, no worries about their food masarap talaga. We got buffet menu four and asked some of the appetizers to be served as cocktail food

mga sis, help naman po. I don't know if this is the proper thread, if not pa-direct na lang po saan. We are going to attend a wedding sa highlands this dec2016. I have to be in tagaytay for 2days. One for the pre-wedding dinner and then the next day for the wedding. Can you recommend hotels (good/decent) near tagaytay highlands? we have often stayed near the taal vista hotel area lang so not that familiar sa area ng highlands. How far is it ba say from sky ranch or from caleruega church?  Is it safe to be driving there at night (road outside highlands ha not inside highlands). Usually ano ba weather sa december? i know it's maulan pero it's safe naman to drive at night right?

Re FT, menu 4 din ang pinipili namin. Anong dishes natikman niyo?

miksha - hi sis! medyo malayo ang caleruega sa TH if Im not mistaken. Ask your friend na ikakasal kasi meron binibigay yung TH ng accommodation rates nila para sa guests nung bride and groom I think safe naman to drive as long as nasa normal state yung driver. Kasi medyo malayo yung entrance ng TH sa mismong venue sis. Meron ding matarik na road papunta dun.

sis cc1818 we tried the roast beef platter with asparagus which for me medjo matigas yung beef, cream of potato soup was really nice, tuna nicoise for the salad...... this was just okey for me cause i am not fond of onions and olives in my salad. for the main course we tried the lapu-lapu fillet, weiner schnitzel and pan fried chicken breast. nasarapan naman kami lahat sa main course. We had the sacher cake for dessert which was also good.
