Nakakatakot 'tong thread na 'to but I can't stop reading. I'm at my parents' house and I'm experiencing weird things kaya napadpad ako dito.

First was when someone opened the door to the room where my daughter and I sleep. I thought it was just my mom checking on us, but hindi daw siya. Hindi rin daw anyone else in the house. I thought nothing of it.

Second was when I saw my brother's doppelganger in the kitchen. I saw my real brother later in the day, and what his doppelganger was wearing was the exact same thing he said he wore that morning.

Third was when I felt someone's weight on me while I was sleeping. I was already pissed off at this point, so I told that being (while half asleep) to stand up and get off me because he was so heavy! Umalis naman and it didn't happen again.

Reading this thread last night creeped me out and I had a bad dream. Some white being with red eyes was standing in front of me. I looked at it straight in the eye, began praying, and just kept looking at it until it went away.

My parents are empty nesters and the second floor of their house isn't used anymore. Maybe spirits are attracted to the unused living space? But the house is generally peaceful -- it just has a lot of empty, dusty rooms.

@CityHunter,

So, is it possible we attracted unwanted guests because we did the padugo?

If we had not made that padugo in the first place, then we might not have suffered that misfortune we had over the years?

I wonder, if the "malas" charm/entities did follow us as we moved out - does this mean that the house won't suffer any unexplainable disturbances for the current tenants living there because these entities followed with us?

Now that's why I always feel weird with that mirror on the stairs. Seems like someone is watching though I see nothing. It is actually a mirror na pinagdugtong dugtong ang mga natirang pieces from other mirrors na ginawa. I mean, cut pieces that were the remains of other mirrors - not broken shards of mirror. I am thinking baka mas nag-iintroduce pa ng trouble itong ganitong pagkagawa ng salamin?

Oh, may pahabol pa palang kwento. A cousin who lived with us (and died few years after, as mentioned earlier) also felt that the 2nd floor guest room (not the smelly room) is also strange. She is sure that she had closed her door, but she would get awakened by door noises - which somehow gets opened. This guest room naman is above the garage but the window is triangular - follows the shape of the A-frame of our house.

My mom also has that suspicion that we might have "carried" the unlucky entities all the way back to our first house. Palipat-lipat kami ng bahay but these are all in Baguio. The house where I was born also had strange hair-raising experiences - but not as grave as this one I have mentioned in detail. However, with that first house, they were so blessed and money kept pouring in, kahit na may mga strange experiences doon (the place is strange but awesome - it has a magnificent view of the sunset. At night the place is full of fireflies.)

Note: I also owned a Raggedy Ann doll, when I was much much younger but for some reason I lost the doll so it is not among the set of dolls that I mentioned. But I know I have one because I have a baby picture with that doll beside me. Didn't felt anything strange about that doll, or the one in the picture.

Hi muli, freelancer babe.

Yes.  It is possible that you attracted MORE unwanted guests.  Malaki ang likelihood that there were already some at your place but it just worsened by that act - the padugo.

The malas you experience is actually the effect na lang by having those around you.  Hindi mo kasi maiiwasan iyan not unless you do something to unlatch them sa inyo.

I-share ko lang something though hope it won't be OT here.  I had a case wherein nasa US na yun victim.  It all began noong bata pa siya sa Cebu area. She moved to Paranaque pero sumonod pa rin and even when they moved to Manila. When special situations require it I do a remote check and confirmed it was still pesting her.  Gave her basic things to do and happy to report na natapos na pagdurusa niya.

Mirrors are very powerful items.  Having a mirror made up of many mirrors is BAD.

Remember a few posts back I shared na yun I audited na place I stood above the room in question and could still feel the entity radiating from it.  No idea if lead lining your walls and doors will suffice to stop such pero tatagos iyon in ordinary materials.  May cases pa ako na from the air vent between floors mo makita at maramdaman yun presence.  This becomes more often the case sa mga modern condos today. Malas mo na lang kung quackie rin as definitely its dealing with entities it may not be able to contain after purging it from clients.

Hindi ako sure how true yun story sa background ng Annabelle doll as the original story about it ay yun nabiktima na lang na mga bumili nun sa 2nd hand store.  However, valid yun reasons given sa movie kaya na-taint yun doll ng ganun.  Blood is very strong ingredient in many things.  Kaya nga the padugo is something you do not mess with.

^ Yikes! We still have that mirror. I called my mom earlier to have it covered with red cloth, but we are willing to dispose it, if it really causes misfortune. The mirror is currently unused in our apartment inside the storage room (it is not in the spooky house anymore). So, is there a proper way to get rid of it? Do we have to get rid of it ASAP?

With regards to radiating presence, I think that's what I experience in that spooky home. The scary presence at the guest room below seemed to radiate upwards towards my former bedroom. Mas malakas nga lang sa guest room, but I also felt it in my former bedroom too.

Not sure if it has to do with the strangeness of that place or what, but seemed scary anyway. The mirrors in my bedroom and the master's bedroom faces the foot of the beds and a window. Good thing there is no mirror to worry in the (smelly) guest room below and the 2nd floor guest room.

Kawawa naman yung victim sa US. Sumama pa sa plane ride. How did she feel that offended entity anywhere she goes? Multo ba yun na nagpaparamdam sa kanya?

_____

Some observations:
How come people feel scared and afraid when they read/watch horror/scary stories - especially the based on true life ones - kahit known naman na walang mga mumu sa place nila?

The above question also applies to reading stuff such as this forum thread. Hair-raising ang magbasa o magkwento and feels like there is something spooky going on around, kahit alam na wala ngang mumu. Is there an explanation for this?

Also, not sure if I am the only one, but I often seem to feel presence of unseen beings from October 31 to November 2 each year. Yun lang ang time of the year when I feel a bit spooked kahit di ko naman nakikita. I just comfort myself that these might be my good dead relatives who are around for a visit. Then after those dates ok na uli, wala na akong na-fe-feel na kakaiba. Like the above, I feel this on places na alam kong normally walang mga presence ng mga unseen.

And, brave persons/people who do not believe in the supernatural seem not to really feel any weirdness when others (like me) do. Talaga bang ganun ang mga supernatural? They prefer to manifest themselves to those who believe in them?

Sir CH, yung house na tinirahan ng mama ko and her two friends/co-workers sa Bulacan when they were young pa had entities na nagddrag ng chains pag gabi. Yung bahay hinde naman kalakihan pero mejo luma and walang nakatira. The person who regularly cleans it offered them to stay there ng walang bayad, it was very near to the factory where my mom and her friends used to work. Pero grabe daw ang hauntings don. Yun nga pag gabi may naririnig silang nagddrag ng chains, mga umuungol, and the last straw for them was when they felt the bed they were sleeping on was raised, inangat yung foot of the bed tapos biglang binagsak. Are those still ghosts pa ba? My mom would always refer to them as spirits who are probably condemned daw. Kaya pala pinatira sila ng libre. They only lasted there for 3 nights.

Hi, twelvth goddess.

Usually those entities that drag chains are those that want others to suffer like them - or replace them in their suffering.  Yun umuungol only reinforces yun fact that these are tormented souls.  Tsk tsk.  The bed rising and falling is a strong sign na those want to possess someone to escape their suffering.  Yun naman ang talagang reason why those do possession.

It is GOOD that they did not stay there more than 3 days.  Your mom and those with her who stayed there did good by paying heed to their gut instinct.

Hi, freelancer babe.

The problem with the mirror ay it has likely absorbed a lot of negative energy already.  Covering it with red cloth is a way of sealing it though mas practical to have it cleansed under the sun.  Check mo na lang ang weather report na hindi cloudy o may rains when you do this.

Kung i-dispose mo lang kahit papaano it won't really stop them from plaguing people.  It would be like disposing of a spent toxic materials na kahit papaano pa lang.

Mirrors, muli, na reflecting your bed is uber bad.  Even more so it its your soles or top of head that is directly reflected on it.  Good to hear na walang mirror sa smelly guest room as else the experience you've had there ay would pale in comparison to what can happen.  In a way ay nasa first gear pa lang yun level of experiences na mayroon kayo.

Hirap sa buhay then yun victim as in losing hope.  That's what I usually the condition of the subject when they come to me.  Was happy naman na she was quite open to options and did what I prescribed.  More like a doctor lang naman ako but its still sa patient kung gagawin or not.

Its not a dead person yun what was hounding her but a lamang lupa.  Can't recall much na yun details as to what it exactly was but definitely not a spirit of a dead person.

Sa being scared sa scary stories o shows ay it makes our subconsciousness more awake.  Its triggering yun mga basic warning signs kasi kaya it affects some of us kahit nagbabasa o nanonood lang.  More so if told as close to how it happened and even more so kung yun narrator ay yun naka-experience nito mismo.

May windows kasi when our reality merges with theirs.  Its not just around Halloween ito but I guess mas attuned ka to such around that time.  Its actually worse kapag Holy Week and even during Ghost Month.

They can try to have a brave face but inside they know something is not right and they should exit the place ASAP.  Baliw lang ang magsasabi sa iyo and insist on it na hindi siya natatakot in the face of such.  Even I am afraid but you keep it in control more so if a lot are depending upon you to keep them safe or take them to safety.

It would be like being a soldier sa battlefield.  Coolness under fire is the name of the game.  To think that you are capable of facing such alone is total BS and is only putting you and others with you in danger.  The key is to realize that such are of the unknown but cannot absolutely command or compel you to do their bidding if you choose not to.  The same applies in giving in to your fear.

Despite these unusual (and dangerous) experiences ay bakit you are still surviving?  Kasi there is something with you that is looking out for you.

@twelvth_goddess,

Nakakatakot na yan ah. Good thing our house is wala pa sa level na yan. For now nakatagal pa kami at yung current na nakatira sa amin.

I just hope I don't run into places where such is felt.

@CityHunter,

Thanks for pointing that out. So we cleanse, keep and store the mirror na lang. Pero yun kasi, we do like to get rid of unused things such as that. I'm thinking of the junk shop - at least they could dismantle and probably recycle the mirrors into good use. Of course we will do the cleaning before sending the item away.

Hmm, the mirror does reflect the bed if I am sitting near and next to it - to fix myself. However I don't see the bed reflection when I am on the bed lying down - I see the window above the bed instead.

Siguro not much attuned ako sa Holy Week and Ghost month because for the past years, busy ako either with work o kaya nasa road trip/byahe ako during that time. So there are distractions and work pressure kaya di ko napapansin. But I do feel weird for no reason at all sa Halloween, All Saints and All Souls. That time either nasa bahay ako or cemetery. This past year nasa bahay ng tiyuhin ako but still I felt those presences.

Observing the statues, yeah, I have to agree meron ngang mga statue na weird ang feeling. Those in the churches I guess these are blessed constantly, so I don't feel weird around them. I have yet to encounter a status in a church na weird ang pakiramdam ko. In fact, mas comforting pa ang dating. But for some houses I visited, meron nga akong mga nafe-feel na kakaiba rin sa mga statues - parang buhay ang mga mata nila like they are watching my every move. Similar to what I felt for some of my dolls.

May ganito palang thread dito. :)

Just want to share: My brother has the ability to "makiramdam." He rarely talks about them but when he feels something nafifeel ko kasi nagiging weird actions nya. He never sleeps with lights off. Kahit wala sya sa house (weekend lang sya umuuwi) required na bukas ang ilaw ng room nya & open and door naman during the day. The top of his cabinet is a sort-of an altar.

Our house story. One of our neighbors (who claims na nakakakita sya) already informed us na meron nga kaming kasama sa house. All of them are nice naman daw.

When that happens, super haggard at mukhang puyat brother ko. Di nya nakikita, i guess, parang silhouette lang.

Before he had talked with our neighbor (para naman makapagrest sya), di sya nakakatulog pag may naiiwan sa house.

He said na magfocus sa prayers pag sa room namin, to avoid filling the room with nega vibes.

Anyway, sya lang yun. Ang weird lang talaga pag nagiinarte sya or nagsusungit. Every Friday, nagiinsenso sa house, and right after umalis ang isang bisita na di nya feel. Lakas maka-discriminate. LOL

She's 64 so medyo hirap na sya matulog. She finds it hard to sleep at night. So para makatulog nagpapatugtog sya (using her cp) ng mahina lang. Minsan daw, nanaginip sya and in her dream a man's voice told her na "patayin mo na ang radyo mo, di makatulog asawa ko." Nagising sya right after and inoff na nya.

Next time na yun sa residents ng room ko & my ate's. :) Actually my bro forbids us to talk about them in the house. Ewan ko dun. Ayaw lang nya. Lalo raw lumalapit sa kanya. Di ko rin talaga sure.  :) Medyo weird lang talaga bro ko. Good thing about him he doesn't tell details.

@CityHunter: Hi! You spoke of a sto. nino na may mafifeel ka pa rin nega vibe. What do you think of the Poong Nazareno?  :) As in super ayaw yun ng brother ko kasi.

I don't normally have this sixth sense.

Is this possible?

Pero one time nga, nung mas naging aware ngako after the visit ng geomancer, nagising ako sa bulong.  I was alone in the room sleeping. Pero hindi ko nga sure kung "bulong" sya or nagsasalita ako while I was asleep. But I am sure may narinig ako nagsasalita.

Looking back, this happened more than once, 2-3x nga ata. Pero nung initial times di ko pinapansin.

Pero when I went abroad, wala na nakatira sa condo. Everytime I come back naman, ok lang naman, wala nakong nararamdaman.

So question ko - para sa mga units na left idle, what is the best thing to do ba kung babalikan ko and staying there a few days?  Buy flowers to liven up the place?  Incense?

Hello and Happy 2015!

Balik ako ulit dito hehe, I just came back from Baguio, dun kami nagspend ng new year ng relatives ko. My two pamangkins are playing with walkie-talkies nung new year's eve. After namin mag countdown and kumain, nagkaron ng games so the walkie-talkies are left beside each other, under the torotots. My sisters are sitting beside the torotots and suddenly narinig nila yung parang swssshhhhh sound coming from the walkie-talkie, followed by a slightly blurred na "...naghahanap lang ng makakain..." babae raw yung nagsalita.

A situation like that requires at the very least a deliverance prayer with the full cooperation of the owner and occupants.  Believe me na yun mga nasa movies o TV ay watered down pa yun sa what happens in real life.

Cleanse muna yun mirror under the sun then wrap it sa red cloth na tied with a yellow string.  Kung maari seal it with a candle wax rin na bago matuyo ay lagyan mo ng imprint ng St. Benedict medallion.  Yun lagyan ng wax ay doon where the string is tied as well as sa kung saan natapos yun tupi sa cloth.  Hope naintindihan ito.

Oh, so its the window above the bed ang reflected but not the bed itself.  Applies the same ba even if one is seated o on the bed?  Anyhow, just cover that mirror when not in use is the basic and practical solution.  Opaque syempre na gamit.

Sa holy ground kasi it is not like sa movies na hindi makakapasok ang mga baddies.

Hi, zelda.

Delikado yun situation ng room ng brother mo.  Its void of presence dahil something is not right there.  Kung friendly yun mga nasa ibang areas ng place ninyo but none can be found sa room niya then may imbalance yun.  It can either be something with your brother or its just that hindi tuned in to that level whoever na may third eye have visited the place.  May mga presences kasi that your body simply shuts itself off to protect itself.  This is why yun mga hindi kinaya ang such experience ay napupunta sa mental.

The Black Nazarene sa Quiapo Church?  May maraming presence doon and not just yun good ones. And some do come in attached to those seeking release or waiting for victims.  The same presence can be felt around the mosque sa other side - though I haven't stepped inside in respect to the religion.

For your brother not to like the Poong Nazareno may major reason iyon.  Something is telling or making him feel that way.  Yun altar sa room niya is simply to mislead folks. Total BS iyon.

Hi, Girltalker2.

Flowers won't help not unless the place has been cleansed.

@CityHunter,
Thanks! Will do those as you said.

With regards to the mirror and the bed, it depends on where one is seated.
 - If I am seated in front of the mirror, I see the bed and the window on top of it.
 - If I am lying down/seated on the bed, I only see the window.
I heard that the current people living that house removed those two mirrors in those two rooms. Takot siguro or they might be following feng shui rules, but I am not sure if they really did remove those. We always used those when we were still living at that house.

personally di ako matatakutin talaga pero before I feel weird (not really takot but weird na feeling may nakatingin) pag umaakyat ako sa taas namin....itong house kasi namin nakuha sa pagibig, then syempre palayan itong subd nun araw...mom at bro ko dati ang nag sleep sa itaas but they moved back to manila when my brother started working...so ngayon wala na natutulog sa itaas, minsan natutulog kami dun ng hubby ko at anak ko....

before nun wala pang cover un windows na nakaharap sa likod (walang nakatira sa likod bahay) iba feeling ko pag aakyat ako, maski un 3 year old ko natatakot dun until my hubby covered it with an old foam sheet...so ngayon nakakatulog na kami dun...

Hi, freelancer babe.

Yun sa mirror reflection as long as in some fashion kahit nakatayo, upo o higa ang isa ay kita pa rin yun reflection sa bed ay bad iyon.  Kahit dulo lang ng bed - per professional experience ko - is enough to trigger things.  Magnitude siguro maiba pero yun mangyari for sure yun.

Hi, FayeP.

OT na kasi here iyon but it can be as simple as scrubbing or mopping the place with water mixed with non-iodized salt.  I have no idea lang kung epsom salts would work as ang mahal nun sa Mercury when I checked.

one time, my aunt, na nakatira sa katabing house, naglalaba cya sa may bandang pinto nila...nakaamoy cya ng kandila so tumayo cya, habang hawak nya un isang maliit na basin ng mga nakusot na damit....paglingon daw nya sa pinto namin...may girl daw na nakaupo sa sofa namin...nabitiwan nya un mga kinusot na damit sa takot nya

@CityHunter speaking of mirrors..

I really hate big mirrors talaga lalo pag nasa CR or any part of the house!

My bf just broke up with me, and I was devastated for several weeks. I was in my room most of the time when I was home. Like the usual heartbroken pips, I spent most of my time crying.

One day there was a birthday celebration in one of my neighbors. I was invited but I just stayed in my room, as usual down and gloomy. Alam nyo yun usual drama. But my Mom just suddenly suprised me with her heavy knocking. Pag bukas ko, it was my Mom with my neighbor. They asked me to turn on the lights and leave the room.

Embarrassing! ;D My neighbor asked me kung may problem ako, but I just said na ok ako. She was not convinced kaya sinabi nya ang reason bakit sya pumunta.

It turns out while she was on her way to our neighbor's house, may nakita syang silhouette ng isang lalaki na nakatayo sa labas ng bintana ng room ko.

My Ate's Room. Nun di pa nirerenovate yun house, I used to sleep sa kwarto ni Ate. We had bunk bed then. Ako sa baba, si Ate sa taas. But there came a time na pinag-aral ni Tatay yun isang cousin ko so pinatira na rin sya sa house.

My cousin, after a week of stay, already complained na may bumubulong sa kanya every night. Unlike my bro, super takot sya. We advised her to pray, and one of our neighbors told my Mom to let her use anything red sa bedsheets. But wala rin.

One time, nagising kami ni Ate kasi nagsisisigaw yun pinsan namin ng "Auntie, hinahatak nya!" Hagulgol ever sya. She told us na nun nagstart na naman syang bulungan, she started to pray then mahigpit na kapit sa rosary. Nun nag-stop daw ang bulong, after a few seconds, nafeel nya hinatak unti-unti yun rosary. Dun na sya nagsisisigaw.

It was hard then.

With the help of some neighbors, nadala namin sya sa sala. Swear, mahigit isang oras bago sya nagising. Naiiyak na si nanay nun. Pati yun isang kapitbahay na nurse, pinapunta na kasi baka nga health problem. But one of our neighbors said (same neighbor dun sa 1st story ko) na hindi raw kasi nakatingin daw yun resident ng room sa amin.

Nang nagising, my cousin told us her story. Nilalagay lang nya sa cabinet nya (which was in my Ate's room) yun mga bagong laba nyang damit nang may nag-tap ng balikat nya. Pag lingon nya, she saw a lady na maputi pero walang mukha. Right then and there ata nawalan na sya ng malay.

After that, my mom talked with a certain man (di ko alam kung ano exactly ginagawa nya). He gave something to my cousin na nasa isang pouch na dapat daw nyang dalhin kahit saan. Never kong nakita kung anong laman nun.

My sister never experienced anything unusual sa room nya.  :)

may i-share ako.. dati pa to eh..

whew..! first part pa lang yan.. saka na yung last part.. and it all happened in 1 night.. oras lang pagitan.. watch out.. :) work muna ko hehe..

last part..

'bakit sino ba kayo?' sumagot sya..
