^ DV, i think so too. And at only 6k+, reasonable na. The similar style britax high back booster at mothercare was 11k, chicco high back is around the same price.

There was another mothercare high back that was priced at 3k+ only but it doesnt come with a built in harness, meant to be put on the seat and used with the car's seatbelt to secure both child and carseat in place, for 15-36kg naman. Di pa pwede samin yan. I think it was the milan high back.

Advance xp is group 1-2-3 na so hopefully this will be our last carseat.

^I just read the product details, hanggang 4 yo lang pala yung integral harness; after then car's seat belt na. Sulit nga ito sa inyo if ever, since your daughter's only 19m. Mine's 4 yo na, kailangan ko na yatang tanggapin na she's really growing bigger, and will have to switch to her high back booster seat soon.

P3,999 lang, available in black, and parang pareho lang nung Advance XP. Might be worth checking out.

Sis DV, baka nga maluwag pero sinubukan kung sikipan yung tipong kasya lang 1-2 fingers ang luwag, ang hirap naman i-buckle. Hehe. Hirap na hirap si yaya lalo pag naglilikot pa si V. I guess i have to teach her kung paano luawagan at sikipan after ikabit. Thanks.

What's the best car seat for newborn till 3 or 4 y/o? meron ba below 10k?

For newborn we got a Graco rear facing car seat. It came with the stroller's travel system. When my son turned 1.5yo, we switched to Recaro prosport. We liked the Recaro better coz mas comfy siya and my son loves facing the front instead of the rear. For safety, mas madaming safety features ang Recaro compared to Graco and mas secure siya.

Is it advisable to buy a 2nd car seat? If yes, saan nakakakita ng 2nd hand car seats? ang worry ko kasi baka mamaya bibili ako ng BN Car seat then ayaw naman ni baby umupo dun

^ not recommended unless you personally know the person selling the seat and trust the history. Any carseat involved in an accident should be replaced, also it might be missng parts you would not notice compromising its safety.

If your concern is if you're baby won't like it, why not bring your baby along? There  are floor models you can try out. That's what we did, we bought our baby to rustans to try out the carseats

We have bought a Fischer Price brand sa Landmark Trinoma last Sunday. It's less than 7k. Suitable for newborn up to 18 kg. Pero suggest nung sales person eh 3 months onwards daw para mas safe kasi hindi masyado marerecline yung car seat na para nakahiga si baby.

BTW, my baby is 2 months old. So next month pa namin magagamit.

if that's the case, for newborns I don't think you'll have any problem, they won't know anything pa naman and will get used to it. In my case, we didn't buy a carseat til my baby was 4 months old and by then she was picky na.

Hi mga mommies!
29 weeks pregnant here. Ü also looking for carseat. Before me and my husband was determined to buy the chicco cortina with keyfit carseat. But then when i read this thread nagdadalawang isip na tuloy ako if we should really buy the carseat of chicco. Lalabas kasi nasa 9k yata yun if will buy separately wc is only good for newborn up to 1yo or depends to the weight of the baby. Tapos nung nakita ko kahapon yung fisherprice na carseat, P6999 pero from 3months to 4yo daw sabi nung saleslady. Kaya lang medyo bulky lang. Ang hirap tuloy magdecide! Sabi nga ni husband bilhin na lang daw yung capella carseat wc is only 4k. At least medyo affordable but not sure about the quality compared to chicco and fisherprice...
