Baby Car Seat, maganda and comfy?

^ sis, it's at the baby section of Metro Dept Store inside Market Market.  Last time I saw an Evenflo Triumph Advance.  Same as what my baby is using, the only difference is the front facing harness limit of 50 lbs instead of 65 lbs.  Pero rear facing limit is same lang na 40 lbs or slightly lower na 35 lbs. di ko masyado nacheck yung actual unit.  This is twice the RF limit of most seats na 9kg lang.  I think it is about the same price as the Brevi but longer lasting.

yun talaga ang gusto ko sa convertible, yung higher ang weight limit para mas longer magagamit. atsaka malalaking bulas lahi namin e kaya feeling ko talaga mas bagay sa baby ko yung medyo bigger, preferably the ones na up to 65-70 lbs. i think yung mga cosco can even go up to 80-100, right? i didn't know na meron pala available dito so i was ready to settle for the ones i found na 18 kg./40 lbs. ang limit. thanks so much, sis!

^ You're welcome! Kung malalaking bulas kayo you should really get a tall seat.  Most seats kasi are outgrown by height instead of weight.  The triumph advance is tall but takes up a small space when installed. http://carseatblog.com/5552/evenflo-symphony-65-vs-triumph-advance-comparative-review-of-features-with-lots-of-pics/  Kung wala na yung Triumph another option is the Safety 1st Complete Air.  Mataas yung shell nya. 50lbs weight limit din ang available locally. Meron sa baby company but more pricey na.

I think yung nakita kong Cosco dun was the Scenera.  40 lbs din and limit front facing pero 35 lbs and rear facing.  In the US, they use this as a budget seat primarily for rear facing.

^Naku matagal sila mag-stock sis. Unless i-order mo kase, dun nila sasadyain na iorder din sa supplier. I asked them how long it'll take to order a brown and pink Maclaren Quest and they saud mga 2-3 months daw  So sabe ko wag na.

Try Landmark sis, I saw a FP car seat there. Parang mga 6,700 lang yata.

to those who are using mothercare house brand, ok ba sya? may nakita ako kahapon yung Madrid, almost 6800 lang siya ang mukha namanh sturdy...feedbacks, please?  thanks!!

^I think one of our sisters here is using a mothercare madrid and another one is using a FP Safe Voyage.
They are made by the same manufacturer though so the base and shell are similar.  the FP lang have deeper head wings ata.  If it fits your budget and like it, select na lang the cover that you like.  Check also the manual on how it is installed.  If you will be using it rear facing and the shoulder belt needs to go behind the seat back, make sure that your seat belt is long enough. 

I just bought a Britax Baby safe plus SHR II for my baby and I can't install it on a big body corolla since the seat belt isn't long enough to go around the seat back.  But on the newer corollas and innova pwede naman.  Di ko napigilan bumili kahit na she has the evenflo triumph 65 convertible since it fits perfectly on our stroller and it will be convenient since we only had to bring the stroller frame lang when we go out till she outgrows the seat. 

Bummer on the cosco and evenflo at market market!  It's been over 6 months na since I last went there.  So naubos na pala ang stocks nila.

My son, who's now 4y2m old, is still using his Recaro carseat that we bought more than 3 years ago. My 1y6m old daughter di kasi nasanay sa carseat so it's my son who still use it. It's perfectly cushioned and my son sleeps on it whenever he feels like sleeping as I drive.

How is the Evenflo Triumph Advance at market market?

Any feedback on the Maxi Cosi Priori? I was looking on Amazon and the price is pretty good at $140 and great feedback. I think I saw this at mothercare too but much more expensive....

Wala na daw stock sa market market according to sis wingding.

US Maxi cosi priori is a shorter seat compared to othrr popular US models. It has been discontinued and replaced by the Pria 70 in the US.  RF 5-35 lbs, FF 22-40 lbs. You can get it cheaper sa albeebaby. There is a clearance sale na $89.95-99.95 lang but they are 2010 models. US car seats typically expires after 6 yrs so you still have 4 yrs of use.  The mothercare model is a UK/Europe model. A bit different from the US model. It is a group 1 FF only seat 9-18kg.

My only concern is yung shoulder strap parang sandwich niya yung neck ng baby ko. Buti di naman nascratch neck niya. Ganun ba talaga?
Pero overall happy pa din.
Ang mga baby sarap na sarap sa byahe pag nagstop yung car ay nako po hahaha

^sis ganun talaga.  wala kasing chest clip ang mga european approved car seats so mas masikip generally sa neck area. what you can do is use a small washcloths as shoulder straps.  What i do is fold it in half then roll around sa neck area ng strap.  you can tape it secure with medical micropore tape.  magslide pa din sya dapat if you adjust the strap.  For safety purposes, don't put aftermarket shoulder pads. Minsan masyado silang bulky at baka hindi mahigpitan ng tama at magslide off sa shoulder yung harness during an accident.

My daughter din, sarap ng tulog pag long drive.  para ata syang pinaghehele.  ayaw nya dati pag nagstop,  iyakan na.  Pag nagmove ulit, tigil na sa pagiyak. But now, iiyak na lang sya pag may poop sa diapers. hehe.

Does anyone have a fortuner? What is your carseat? We went to mothercare and had them fit the madrid, unfortunately they couldn't get the proper fit. The problem is the seat is sloping so the bottom of the carseat wasn't flat, if they made it flat it would pitch forward in the rear facing position, front facing it's fine.

The only other combination carseat they have is the maxi cosi opal or britax cowbunga (i don't like the print though). The opal is 20k though urgh i don't know what to do na, i need a carseat na.....

@ khriseee:  alam ko ganyan ang problem ng most carseats pag RF...what they do is they put rolled towels or pool noodles (available at sm moa-dun ko nakita to but didnt check the price) sa may base..check mo sa youtube sis... HTH

Ohhh how come they didn't know that at mothercare? they told us no carseat would work well, even the maxi cosi opal hay i'll buy pool noodles and try it out again. Been searching on youtube and i think our car's seatbelt only has the emergency locking facility.....i wanna try the fisher price one, does sm allow carseat fitting before purchase?
