@newbeymum i think Pre-K applicants will not be tested and will be accepted provided there are available slots.  I think they accepted 40+ for SY2015-2016.  We applied last year but we were too late.  We were already 60+ on the queue and only a couple of applicants backed out for Pre-K

We applied again for next school year and got accepted for K1 However, my daughter took the screening test na which she passed!

I just got the result awhile ago. I'm just wondering what's the reason kaya why she didn't make it?
My daughter applied for K1.
Medyo sad kahit na hindi Poveda ang first choice namin ni hubby.

^a few of my son's classmates from a co-ed kindergarten did not qualify too last year. I guess kasi late sila nag-apply

I mean, very simple lang kasi ginawa sa kanila. I saw parang they are just talking with the teacher. wala pang 20 mins, they are done na.

^Im not sure how the screening is done nowadays. Before my daughter had a 1-on-1 interview with the guidance counselor. Parang hindi din mahaba her interview. and I dont think it's with the length as well...my son finished his supposed-to-be 1 hr entrance interview (for a different school, of course) in under 30mins. For the 2nd round of interview in poveda, it was with the preschool principal together with other applicants.

Maybe, madami ding applicants with sibling/s who are currently enrolled in the school. May weight din kasi yon, just like in other schools

So happy that my daughter passed poveda's entrance exam. I was kinda worried na she wont pass kasi after the exam i asked her what they did and she answered they played lang daw. I guess madami din  slots for K2 for next school year. When i asked last Sept, if i remember correctly, its around 30+ slots for K2.

My daughter had a 2 hours exam last September 22 and got the result October 20 (personally picked up the letter at Poveda). October 21 - Orientation and Conforme signing for Grade 1 (SY 2016-2017).

Reservation Fee of Php 20,000.00 - not later than November 5, 2015.
Enrollment date will be on November 12, 2015.

Any mom's of incoming Grade 1 here? Hope to hear from you...

Hello my daugther will have her assessment for Pre K on January 21 of next year and I am wondering what would they assess on her? Or is it just going to be a first come first serve basis? My daughter has been accepted already at Miriam Child Dtudy Center for their First Step level its like the Pre k for Poveda. Any tips mommies? Does it mean that the assessment is just for formality but my daughter has a slot already? Thank you

for our case sis, our second option was STC (QC) and ICA(San Juan) since yun ang malapit sa area namin.

newbeymum my daughter applied for K2 last year, same with Ally, 1 on 1 interview. Basic questions re Child's info. Colors, shapes, following instructions (like put the blue ball in the green box), and she was also asked to read.

 charay824 congratulations! my daughter will be in Grade 1 next year. She is in K2 right now. Deadline payment for the reservation for current students was last month.

I already enrolled my daughter for Pre K and I chose the afternoon session since It would be harder for us to be in the morning shift considering the traffic jam along Katipunan. It took me a while to decide whether to enroll her or just to let go of her slot. I originally made my reservation at the Miriam Child Study Center since the result of my daughter's assessment came out earlier than Poveda. However due to some advice  from some friends and relatives the husband and I decided to choose Poveda and let go of the reservation I made at Miriam CSC. Hopefully I will not regret the decision we made anyway I strongly believe that Poveda will bring out the best in my daughter my only dilema is the traffic traffic traffic... by the way I already bought the school shirt after I enrolled my daugther (excited lang nuh? haha) how about the pants any kind of pants ba allowed? leggings? jeggings? jogging pants? I was not also informed when would be the orientation. anyone here na co mommy ko na may Pre k child din this school year?

^i think jeans for pre-K. Try calling the information from time to time for the schedule of the orientation

^^for my incoming 4th grader, I paid almost 116k when I did early enrollment last March. Then add to this the Php 10k reservation I paid last December, almost Php 126k. This figure is still subject to increase pending DECS approval (and it shouldn't be more than 10% as per DECS memorandum)

ok thank you.. by the way are there mommies here na from commonwealth area what is the fastest or short cut going to Poveda? we tried katipunan then c5 then meralco avenue ang traffic!! then i tried din timog and looban bandang greenhills same thing.. may iba ba kayo alam mommies na way? thank you
