what level pay 3 y.o? and do you know how much tuition for next year pa naman

my husband went to poveda last friday for the stickers. he was able to get for both cars and the guard did not mention anything about them have to stick it to the car, just said it has to be on the left side. my husband confirmed this with the person pa to make sure it was all good that he was getting 2 stickers but only had 1 car with him at the time. yes daw. hindi naman daw sila ang nagdidikit ng sticker.  baka bago yung tao?

also got the workbook for K1 when we went to get the pink uniform i ordered. ang hindi ko natanong though is what kind of pencil to use. is the regular mongol ok or does it have to be yung medyo malaiing black pencil (what we used to call the grade 1 pencil)?

and then diba may parang notebook where the teacher will write in reminders etc? i'm assuming it is us who need to buy this and this is not provided by the school. is this correct? if so, what kind should this be? and do we need to buy pad papers? or will all of these be explained at the orientation?

^ang weird nga. with me kasi, my husband had to bring his car for this sticker. baka bago nga.

re pencil and other materials, I dont remember my daughter bringing them everyday. Lahat provided in school. Memo notebook (some sort of diary) is given during the first week. I think the teachers will give you a list of things to bring during the first week. Kasama na diyan the toiletries that you'll have to leave in class.

btw, classroom assignment will be posted this or next week.

Hi hunny_ally, just want to ask if the same bag lang ang needed ng grade 1 and kinder 2? I haven't bought my daughter yet her things for school..i still want to finish muna with the orientation.

^^ the guards were the one who attached the sticker to my car. baka may bagong process na?
The girls won't be needing any thing to bring in school except the extra uniform in the bag, diary & baon. Everything will be provided in the classroom.

wandawits, when my daughter was in 1st grade, they only used a module. no books whatsoever so she only had a small bag. module pa din ba your daughter or do they have books already? they were also given a black bag for folders (given during the first month). thats where she placed her circular folder and diary and learning kit (given every friday). in her backpack, her extra clothes for after school. tip: since everyone will get the same type of bag, and by everyone I mean ALL students (upper grades will have a different design but grades 1-3 use the same design), make sure you put a tag that can make your daughter easily identify hers. in our viber group madalas yung message na "by any chance any of your daughters accidentally brought home <kid's name> folder bag?" such a big hassle during assessment/exams time.

clueless, at least less items in our to-buy list. that's what i like with the school, included na the starter materials. but come grade 2, once you ran out of materials, you'll have to buy your own. my daughter every other day nawawala ang pencil!

^ they only have 1 workbook sis. Kaya nga isip ko...ano kaya matututunan ng daughter ko for 1 year? Hahaha! Super opposite kase sila ng kuya nya na prep pa lang eh sandamakmak na books at homework. Oh well, he's from a traditional school naman kase. So you mean, she can use na rin the same school backpack when she was in K2?

^yup. she used the same backpack for K2 and grade 1. I know what you mean. My son is incoming kindergarten and he has almost the same number of books as his 3rd grader ate. Nagulat ako!

i cant remember anymore their sem break for last school year. but usually it's a week before all souls'/saints' day. shorter din ata last year because of the suspensions due to storms.

btw, there's a new schedule of start of classes (posted in our batch page). I dont know if this was relayed to you during your orientation/s. my daughter will start on the 17th instead of 15th.

pre-k, k1: June 17
grades 1-3: June 17
K2: June 18
Grades 4-6: June 22

Before I would print the labels on iron transfer sheets. You can get it from national bookstore. But medyo ma-trabaho so I use laundry pens now. Not as nice as the printed labels but it does it's job.

^ i was planning to use a sharpie but i'm worried that it might bleed. Where do you get laundry pens, sis?

I found an online supplier of iron-on labels but they havent replied to me yet, P600 for 100pcs and P400 for 50pcs.

National bookstore or office warehouse. I can't remember the brand but just ask for a laundry pen. I doesn't bleed.

I'm planning to transfer my daughter in a different ballet school. Just want to get feedback if ok ang ballet class sa Poveda with the Halili ballet teachers?
